I promise I’ll shut up about this so soon but one of the other great parts of the Carnegie show was that Brain Axford, Emily’s brother, was the pianist in the band and sitting behind the crew for the whole show. Bc from my seat I had a great view of him just staring proudly at his sister as she said wild things all night and it really added to the atmosphere that everyone on stage was having as much fun as a lot of the people in the audience
Not sure if it's reached tumblr yet but there were a lot of issues regarding the audio from Carnegie. People in the balconies had a hard time hearing it, including the opening music by the quintet.

Isn’t the capacity of Madison Square Garden like 20,000? Are you telling me there’s going to be thousands of D&D nerds plus their confused family members, friends and partners in the same place the New York Knicks play professional basketball?
there is nothing that makes me forget how to act like a normal human person than being in manhattan, other boroughs are literally fine but as soon as i have to drive into manhattan its like i got hit in the head with a hammer and forgot how to speak to people and also how to drive
i don't think it will actually happen but i want to be able to say i was the first to soft-predict it if it does: hot ones will invite the d20 cast for an interview while they're all in nyc for the msg live show next year
