Arms wrapped around the storm witch's waist, and she smiled as she leaned into the warm embrace of her lover.

"Hello sweetheart."

"How was the trials?!"

"A lot of work, I just want to go home and lay down."

He smiled as she laughed, rejoicing in the sound theyve missed for two months. A lot of trials dont let much joking take place, and the most fun shes had has been with Pris in the caves when they found the warden.. She could feel the phantom pains now and when she first encountered the beast ten years ago.

A hand ran through his dark hair, and Scott smiled. Its been a long four years, and he missed laying in bed on stormy evenings with his lover. The more he thought, the more he figured that he also missed the late night rain dancing with the storm witch. Rumours tell him that after he sacrificed his magic for Milo, Shelby picked the title up. He wasnt sure how true of a word that was.

"How was the final trial?" "A lot of work. Scott won overall, but I was in second." "Scott?" "Not Chromia Scott, this Scott was.. different. Not as colourful and full of life. He was the necromantic witch." "Woah.. cool.."

They smiled and nodded, agreeing with her words. Scott was cool, and she found it kinda cool how the two of them were basically polar opposite but still good friends. She had white hair, and bright yellow eyes; He had black hair and dark green eyes. They wore a lot of blues and whites, he wore a lot of blacks and dark greens. Shelby supposed it was interesting how two opposites could be such good friends.

He just hoped that in the end Scott was happy with giving up his magic to bring his lover back. Gods know she would do the same.

HMMMM -pulls up the map- let's say yes to the first question so Zephyr isn't all that special about it- sounds like it would've happened at least a few times, right

let's say that This group has done it (still the same continent but yanno), the ones with Butterflies in it. this group turned the faulty Iterator off n eventually rebuilt it

but yes, eventually the proper designs were sold to all continents. they then erected the Root Signals which then hold Two names- one name for the Iterator cahoot (like The Children of Eo) and a name for the Ancients/The Colonies (Aeolus Council of Iterator Colonies)

hmmm.... probably nobody went in the way "i was inspired by the idea of Iterators and made my own different thing" but there have definitely been variations and such that could've spawned in an almost adjacent way! they got their hands on the original plans and started changing things up until the product would be something different to the eyes but at the core it's still An Iterator

this dead group to the East of Butterflies' colony might've been the special kind since even durin the Ancient times it would've been largely made of water

the biggest group (or at least with the biggest reach), the one of The Creeping Ocean, was bound to be full of oddities as well!

but mostly people would stick to the official plans of the Generations, especially when it comes to the structures. those things are stupid giant and take a lot of minds to come together to create them in a basically foolproof manner

For Touka and Rize: 3, 8, 15, and 19?

Okay the longer I worked on this the more I realized I really like this as sheer "haha what if", It's impossible in canon and will probably end in disaster, but I cannot help but like contemplating. Also I made a little sketch, because you poor soul, there is no content for these two. Actual question answers under the cut.

3. What was their first impression of each other?

Touka was a little apprehensive, but definitely curious. A stunningly beautiful woman who absolutely reeks of human blood? Probably not someone to be messed with but still, she found herself making a subtle effort to be the one who took her order and brought it to her table whenever she showed up at Anteiku.

Rize was initially pretty indifferent about this cute waiter, but as she started to notice Touka glancing and her, she found it strangely adorable and not in the "my next meal" way she's grown accustomed to. An odd, but exciting feeling.

8. What do they love most about the other? Why?

Rize loves Touka's passionate side. Is Rize entirely capable of standing up for herself, and then some? Oh absolutely. Is she still going to let her girlfriend go "She asked for no pickles" just because it's extremely endearing? Yes.

Touka loves how Rize is easy to talk to, in the sense that it doesn't feel like she's ever being written off as "young and emotional." Rize takes her seriously, and then actually tries to help.

If we listen to canon they're about the same height and size, but Rize is a little taller. And hey if the opportunity is there, they might as well take it. Primarily it's Rize taking Touka's clothes because she likes them, But Touka likes to take a bit of her jewelry just as a little keepsake throughout the day.
