In the Nancy Drew AU where Henry tags along more and becomes a good friend of the group beyond just Ned's friend, I like to think Ned's mom just permanently adopted this kid and he has a room in their house that's his as long as he pitches in with dishes once in a while and helps rake leaves in autumn. Iggy has a full tank set up as well as a run out back when it's summer time, and Ned's mom warmed up to the goofy lizard just as much as she did her new goth child.

Nancy Drew AU where Thom is the one assigned to the Lucy Sable case. He quickly finds out about the relationship between Lucy and Ryan and Ryan is ultimately arrested and convicted (Carson refuses to stay to defend him, moving himself, Kate and Nancy to Europe). Thom's career goes on in leaps and bounds due to this, eventually leading to him becoming chief. Not only this but Thom's sons begin to solve crimes on their own, becoming rivals to teen sleuth Nancy Drew.

Only, when Lucy begins to haunt Nancy, Nancy begins to suspect the wrong person was arrested for her murder. Ace and Grant assume Nancy is bitter and trying to drag their family name through the mud after her life came off the rails with Kate's death and her failure to apply to college even as Nancy works to try to solve what really happened to Lucy Sable.

This blog was created by @phantom-of-the-ruckus for her/their AU inspired by the Nancy Drew books. This would mostly contain lore drops and perhaps some stuff Phantom makes when she/they have time to do stuff (as university is a thing.)

This is surely but fun. Characters are not related (Phantom doesn't believe they're actually related, but will not do cannon x cannon content) and there won't be any romance whatsoever. Perhaps implications of a one-sided crush, but it would be like a mention (up to change)

So here are some basics of this universe! (Feel free to ask in the chat box)

This is inspired by the Nancy Drew mystery books, however this contains some touches of supernatural elements and horror.

If Phantom/MrsWatermelon writes about this, it would be divided by individual mysteries but with something connected to "Meadmalfort Valley" (place of the AU)

Riley would be the protagonist and will partake the role of Nancy in her books. Her name in the Au is "Riley Drew Ruckus" with Drew being her middle name

This AU takes some inspiration from the Nancy Drew movie from 2007 (I believe) so there might be a few references to that.

Most of the characters would be adaptations of Nancy's friends int he books.

I might do some entries that Riley made during her first day after moving to her new home

Some trivia-

Riley usually goes by Riley or Riley Drew (Nancy Drew books exist in this AU)

Riley is not as popular or goes quite well with everyone like the OG Nancy did.

The first portion of his AU would be known as "Riley Drew and the twisted mirror clue"

Riley and Mortimer are good friends and have a sort of mentor and mentee relationship.

Nick and Riley would be just frenemies in a Platonic relationship. (This might get to the cannon unrequited crush, but I don't feel like adding it tbh)

Era is around the early 2000s and the recent 2000s (TBH)

uhhhh ok so ive got a BUNCH of ideas tbh. many of them are probably, unfortunatly never gonna see the light of day only because the original concepts of them are just. so fucking long jdshkjf theyd take me FOREVER to write (which is why i mostly only post oneshots? i do have a lot of multichap fics in the works but ive kind of stolen silvers routine of finishing them in full before posting)

i had one that was a nancy drew au with dadbur and tubbo and nancy. it was gonna be based off the live action early 2000s movie because i absolutely adored that movie as a kid. i think tubbos crew was gonna be ranboo and purpled but looking back maybe aimsey would work better instead of purpled. idk the details didnt really matter

but basically it was the premise of that film but i changed the ending to match what i wanted better. it was fun. i actually havent thought about that in a while maybe i will go back to it

We were talking about Misty and Gregory (thank you Squib for coming up with the ship name Mistory LMAO it’s perfect) and once again (because I love to design characters) was like “hm what if they had a kid” and then decided that they should have twins because it’s been too long since I’ve decided to design twins :3

So here we have little Gwendolyn and Griffin

Gwen has very little in the way of spirit powers, but she wants to be a paranormal investigator. She will use a magatama like a supernatural magnifying glass (by looking through the hole of it).

Griffin, despite being a dude, has spirit powers (because I said so. He gets to be special hehe).

A reworked Legend of the Crystal Skull

where Ned is Henry's Friend Lite™ instead of just an Acquaintance Lite™ and just goes into mother hen mode immediately and offers to help with the executor thing even if it's just making sure Henry is eating and sleeping enough. Henry is a huge pushover (see Summer) and doesn't know how to say no to help or a semi intrusive Ned and lets him visit to help out. Nancy and Bess are visiting New Orleans already so Ned stays at the hotel during the night while helping during the day. Nancy is only semi content to stay out of Henry's business but tries hard for Ned to not do her "My Mom is Dead Too, Look How I'm Relating" spiel.

Till Ned gets knocked out by the Skeleton Man instead and now it's personal for Nancy, who marches over immediately to figure out what the hell is going on. Bess comes along briefly to make sure Ned is okay too because he's her friend, but tends to stay at the hotel more because she picked up that Henry is not vibing with all these people in his space.

Ned does more of the chatting with Henry and finds the out of place stuff in the house while helping to clean and pack up stuff because Henry isn't sure what he wants done with the house or if he'll even be keeping it in the division of the estate (more than likely it would be sold). He finds the receipts, notes the missing painting, arranges books, and quickly tries to nail down some form of enclosure for Iggy, whom he also tries to make Henry bond with. Nancy does a bit more of the hardcore puzzles and exploring, sometimes with Ned and sometimes without, and when Henry is found sobbing for heaven's sake Ned actually talks to the poor guy to lend an ear or just company instead of writing him off.

Also, Ned flat out tells Henry what Nancy is up to and found, and gently asks to borrow to the eye keychain and returns it immediately to Henry instead of blackmailing him. He also overhears the conversation with Summer and realizes his Spidey sense about their relationship was legit and talks him through leaving what's a beyond toxic relationship.

Henry likely at some point snaps at the two as well for kinda just barging in his space and leaving him no breathing room, and Ned takes Nancy back to the hotel to do sleuthing on that end with Bess, which involves a bit more investigating local history to learn about the Mardi Gras parades and the Jolly Roger krewe. Henry and Ned eventually make up and establish better boundaries, which is what leads to Henry getting to learn the extent of what Nancy has been up to and what his uncle may have left him.

I think the Skeleton should make a second appearance as well, and Renée tries to make someone legit sick with her weird food to get them to leave.

There's probably more than could be done or changed, but just my two cents. (I'm watching Halfmoon Joe play Legend of the Crystal Skull and it got me thinking).

Even if no one else likes this idea, I do and I am sick so you all must humour me and the fact I did more world building for it.

This is for my Nancy Drew AU where the Hardy Boys were 1920s teenaged detectives who ended up in modern day with the Drew Crew:

Frank and Joe Hardy are the teenaged sons of famous detective Fenton Hardy and often help him out on his cases

Their favourite dates are Callie Shaw and Iola Morton, both members of the Women in White

They ask the boys to investigate the Icarans on the behalf of the Women in White and it is the brothers who work out the extent of the Icarans power and their plan to insert one of their members as mayor

The members are able to catch the boys

The brothers escape but are seriously wounded while doing so

Frank and Joe manage to make it back to the Women in White who realise the brothers are going to die if they don't do something drastic

Following a theory proposed by Charity Hudson, the Women in White supernaturally freeze the brothers in the hope in the future they would be able to wake them up with the medical knowledge of how to save their lives

The brothers are put in a buried chamber and the two parts of the key given to Callie and Iola who pass them down to their children

However someone bad wants to get hold of the artefact holding the brothers in their supernaturally frozen state so they can use it as a weapon

When one of the keys is stolen, the granddaughter of Iola Morton goes to the Drew Crew to help her recover it, knowing Frank and Joe would be left to die if the artefact is removed by the thief

The Drew Crew track down the other key and recover the stolen one and then decide to open the vault and release Frank and Joe so they can destroy the dangerous artefact

They are successful and destroy the artefact but it leaves them with two very confused detectives from the 1920s who need to make lives for themselves 90s years out of their own times.

Next fairy in the lineup is Nancy Drew! At least my modern interpretation of her, with an earth fairy design. And mismatching eye colors because why not?
