What death games taught me is that programmers there can be absolutely different:

Chihiro from Danganronpa THH, cute, kind, weak and innocent;

Sou from YTTD, constant obstacle in our way, sly and opportunistic (also weak);

Rae from Exit/corners, a bit rude, cynic, brutal freelancer with anger issues;

Lotus from Zero escape 999, attractive, looking like belly dancer and a bit self-serving;

But all of them suffer in some way

“Nandon morning after” sounds really interesting :)

This was a cute little snapshot that took place post-canon over winter break, set early in the morning after Nato and Brandon had a truly epic feelings realization / love declaration / getting-together moment. (If it wasn't obvious from my Kleinsen Proposal WIP, I like setting stories in the immediate aftermath of really intense moments, whether they're physical, emotional, or profoundly life-changing.)

Brandon finds Nato in the kitchen, wearing Brandon’s Berklee sweatshirt and his stupid fucking pizza-print boxer briefs.

“Ramen for breakfast? Seriously, dude?”

“Fridge is right there. You can make your own if it’s not up to your nutritional standards.”

Any snark Nato seems to be going for is completely undone by the wide, open-mouth smile that’s lighting him up from the inside out. His hair is sticking out at three different angles and his eyes are still early-morning bleary behind his glasses, looking at least as exhausted as Brandon feels, and he is so beautiful that it makes Brandon’s chest feel like it’s sort of about to split open.

And Brandon wonders, for at least the sixteenth time in the last twelve hours, how it could have possibly taken him this long to notice.

Nato goes back to stirring his instant noodles on the stove top, humming a song that only exists in his head.
