Honestly, people who thinks Hinata is stronger than Sakura probably watching clips of Hinata fighting during Naruto the last and suddenly calls her stronger and probably still Salty about Sakura being The strongest. Anyway, not that was accurate.

Many people still speculate that Hamura’s chakra mode Hinata is stronger than either Sakura or Tsunade, we still don’t have much information about Hamura’s chakra on Hinata on which, does she still have it? Can she activate it? Will she be the most powerful kunoichi than anyone else?! Fans will always defense this when there’s an argument between who’s the strongest even though we still don’t have enough information about it and basically how it works, like does it define as a buff? Can Hamura’s chakra enhance the users ability through an extent like Naruto does? Is it define as a power up? We don’t know.

Sakura vs. Hinata. Wow, what complete bull because it’s so obvious which one’s gonna win really, still, fans will always downgrade Sakura to make Hinata more valuable and much more appreciated. Stop being salty and accept it antis!

Hinata a character with a little amount of screen time and it’s more popular.

Sakura with a lot of screen time, gets a lot of hate. Kinda unfair really, but it’s really sad how badly she was written during OG Naruto, and that’s how fans completely gets there hate from, and avoiding a lot of scenes, episodes, light novels, when Sakura shines through.

I don’t particularly have favorites and characters always grew on me but Sakura is one of my favorite of all the animes I’ve watched, without her in the plot Naruto would’ve had ended early and there’s no sequel to it. I like her character development than anyone else In the Naruto cast, of how much she improved, how unique her character design, especially in Boruto, and about her roles.

Everyone who says Sakura is useless, how Sakura have no significant role in the plot, and how weak she is. Fix you’re shit and rewatch Naruto all over again.

Fans will always defense this when there’s an argument between who’s the strongest even though we still don’t have enough information about it and basically how it works, like does it define as a buff? Can Hamura’s chakra enhance the users ability through an extent like Naruto does? Is it define as a power up? We don’t know.

We do know, we saw what did. It gave Hinata the ability to be able to touch and destroy the Tenseigan, and it gave her chakra a dark purple colour in appearance, that's it. If the writers wanted us to think that it had other effects, they would have demonstrated them, but they didn't. So unless proven otherwise, Hamura's chakra had no other effects. It did not augment her skills or improve her abilities, and those who think so aren't even engaging in reasonable speculation at that point, because it's not even as though we didn't see what effects Hamura's chakra had. We saw the effects, and we saw no sign that Hinata's battle prowess had increased at all. So for those people to then turn around and use Hamura's chakra as some form of evidence that Hinata is now above Sakura and Tsunade in combat ability, despite there being no basis to think so, is simply absurd. That would be like me saying how the Mystical Palm healing technique also alleviates the recipient's hunger, despite there being no evidence of this at all. We know the Mystical Palm heals physical injuries, so why would we then just go and add another effect on top of that with no basis to back it up?

Here's the thing - I don't like phrasing it as who would definitely win, because combat prowess is not the only factor when determining who is more likely to win a fight. However, Sakura's combat credentials are definitely superior to Hinata's, and so based on that alone, she would be more likely to emerge victorious in a fight.

Whenever I hear people saying how War arc Hinata would beat War arc Sakura just because the Gentle Fist apparently counters Sakura's fighting style, I just tell them how by that logic, that means they must think Hinata that also beats Tsunade in a fight, and they always go silent, because they know how utterly stupid that sounds. This "debate" would not exist if the Sakura hatred wasn't so deeply ingrained in the fandom. They actively look for ways to downplay her.

Himawari can't be passed off as a Narusaku kid cause of her hair,and even if she was blonde,she would still have the Byakugan,but they did try to pass her off as a Tonehina kid a long time ago. The reasons where her eyes are blue like the Tenseigan and Toneri hides his whiskers under his hair. How they tried to make that work was Sasuke went off and had Sarada with Karin,Naruto and Sakura went off and had Boruto,and Hinata somehow found a way to the Moon,slept with Toneri,and came back pregnant with Himawari.

That's I just have no words for that, like seriously her blue eyes are Naruto's colours while the Tenseigan has blue it is a different shade and overall design. Plus how can he hide whiskers you can see he doesn't have any his hair isn't big enough to block them and his hair is out of the way during chakra mode.

Kaguya was such a boss girl that she ate chakra fruit,sealed both juubi and god tree and became second strongest being in history of naruto multiverse. My ladt even created six universes for fun😳

Her children,Hagoromo and Hamura were blessed with such godly chakra which inherited from their mother,grow so strong after inventing and mastering six paths sage mode that they alone could overpower her,hold her down until hagoromo absorbs juubi and god tree,then sealed away kaguya's remains because she was still a threat.

Hagoromo surpassed her and Hamura was the closet to her once he awakened tenseigan.

Hagoromo in his deathbed transcended time and samsara,and in that state,where he was far weaker than his prime self,split his chakra in two and gave it to narusasu to make them capable of fighting against his mother.

And that kaguya wasn't even prime kaguya but still team 7 defeated her in a miraculous way, which made it seem as if they had plot armor.

If kaguya and her children were united,even the whole otsutsuki clan wouldn't have been abe to take them down.

Update on Hinata’s tenseigan (you can go read the carrd if you want but im gonna slap a tl;dr here) in chronological order of events:

Leaves the moon after beating Toneri’s ass, Hamura’s chakra still part of her.  Her body doesnt know what to make of it at first, and it keeps taking the “form” in her mind as this weird stone creature. 

Activates tenseigan after a traumatic event- Witnesses a hostage killed during this long stake-out mission as a Konoha Officer

Trains for a bit w/ Naruto because her newfound power is really great and she knows if she knocks the hell out of Naruto, he’ll be ok

The moon keeps calling to her all the time. Finds out her Otsutsuki chakra allows her to teleport to the moon, so she does.

Goes cave diving and finds this one super deep cave with tons of crystals and natural energy.  Pokes around, finds a big ass golem creature named Touma. The face of the golem (so it looks like Hamura) is just like that of the one Toneri summoned, but it has a full body and crystals are growing all over it.

Touma recognizes Hamura’s chakra in Hinata and offers to train with her as he had done with Toneri. This unlocks the Tenseigan Chakra Mode, which is like a midway between Sage Mode and Six Paths Senjutsu. 

Gets a sexy cool horned alien Tenseigan Chakra Mode form

Deemed “Moon Sage” because well.. She trained on the damn moon with an alien golem creature. 

Can summon alien golem to fight

Will she come back to earth and beat the hell out of Hiashi Hyuga? Hopefully.

Hinata’s not the Heroine of Naruto.

Being a romantic interest doesn’t make one useful, nor does holding somebody’s hand or touching their face. ROMANTIC MOMENTS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH USEFULNESS NOR DO THEY DEFINE SOMEBODY’S VALUE IN THE STORY.

The fact is: In the war, Hinata could barely pull off 64-palms(one single attack) and felt like she was reaching her limit at that alone, had to be saved by both Naruto and Neji(at the expense of Neji’s life), she tripped on rocks while Naruto was dying(and being kept alive by Sakura luckily), before begging for her dead cousin to save Naruto cuz she knew she couldn’t do anything, even HAD TO BE REMINDED TO USE HER BYAKUGAN BY KIBA. And then on top of that... She even got pulled into the Infinite Tsukuyomi, stuck in a genjutsu, while Team 7 was off defeating Kaguya and saving the world.

Oh, in The Last, people bring up Toneri, but Hinata didn’t actually do anything. On top of not being able to get spiderwebs out of her own hair, and not being able to drink water on her own, having to be saved OVER AND OVER AND OVER again in one single movie, the one moment she could prove her usefulness. She says she can’t destroy the tenseigan (despite earlier in the movie it being said that she could) aaaaaand. She briefly combines chakra with Naruto, but IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE CONNECTION GETS BROKE AND HINATA GETS THROWN INTO A LITERAL CAGE TO WAIT FOR NARUTO TO SAVE HER AND THE WORLD. IT’S NARUTO WHO PRETTY MUCH DOES ALL THE WORK ON HIS OWN IN BIJUU MODE.

And in the pain battle? Hinata doesn’t really do much herself. She steps in, gets swiped aside, and stabbed(the anime dragged it on for like ten minutes, but in the manga it wasn’t even a battle, it lasted a few seconds at best.) And considering that this is the person who’d killed Naruto’s master(Jiraiya), and wrecked his entire home, killed Kakashi and pushed Tsunade to her breaking point, Hinata getting stabbed is the final straw. His rage flies him into the nine tails state and Kurama and Minato saves him. Once again, confessions don’t define usefulness. Especially when you leave your injured bodyguard.  Somebody said she weakened Pain all by herself, which is BS Filler Studio Pierrot pushed on viewers. Nextly, somebody also pointed out that Naruto almost went full on Nine Tails mode for Hinata. But the thing is... Naruto had been releasing more tails each time he let Kurama take over.

so on and so fourth until it got too weak to hold back anymore. It was Minato who saved him from releasing it completely and potentially killing Hinata and everybody in the area. (Fortunately his nine tails mode was only focused on defeating Pain or he probably would have went after somebody else)

And before you sit and talk about Sakura “only calling out for Naruto”(because y’all don’t know how to stay on topic and NOT point fingers for your life)  Lemme remind you of what Sakura was doing in the Pain Invasion Arc(copied and pasted from somewhere else).

CAN YOU NAME ONE MOMENT WHERE HINATA PUTS HER LIFE ON THE LINE FOR SOMEBODY ASIDE FROM NARUTO? FIVE MOMENTS SHE SHOWS KINDNESS TO PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF NARUTO? Nope, because she’s Naruto-centric. She was created for no other perpose than to admire Naruto. She has a few moments (like Bringing tea to Neji and her Father, offering ointment to Kiba, crying over Neji’s death a couple times, the scene with Himawari in the manga, and standing beside Neji briefly in one scene, I guess helping Ino a bit. But not really anything beyond that. When the village is a matter, Naruto is usually the most relevant thing that comes to mind. You never hear her talking about her talking about protecting her team or village, it’s always about protecting Naruto in the end. Then again the brief moment where she supports Kiba in his goal to become Hokage and Shino shuts him down.... that was kind of funny I guess. But you don’t get many moments like that. The most Hinata does is provide aid with far distance sight and that’s about it. She’s not really cut out for fighting, nor does she succeed at it, ever(didn’t even defeat the juubling on screen!).

Maybe it’s better she became a house wife... She was a failure in comparison to her younger sister Hanabi, who would have been a much better Princess imo.

Tenseigan allows the user to control both attractive and repulsive forces, similiar to the Rinnegan. Additionally, it also grants the wielder Tenseigan Chakra Mode, which in turn gives the user an increase in speed, power, strength, durability, and reflexes.

nono you got it wrong. what I said was byakugan + otsutsuki chakra.

when I said hamura's chakra I meant it as their descendants aka toneri his actual descendant from closer kin and the hyuga clan, not that he got his chakra since hamura's chakra is tenseigan. so basically hamura's chakra is byakugan on otsutsuki like you have said before I think (and the movie).

I will recap. toneri got tenseigan because he already had otsutsuki chakra AND hanabi's byakugan. not that he got hamura's chakra. thn it applies to hinata.

so my original question was: if hamura really gave some of his chakra to hinata, her natural power should've been tenseigan right? because she got byakugan + otsutsuki chakra through hamura. this way she would get hamura's chakra since hamura's chakra is the tenseigan and it would've made much more sense.

as I said the movie doesn't make much sense and for me it's disservice after disservice but whatever.

it's like if I said now that since karma and byakugou come from the same era, if an otsutsuki gave sakura their powers she could gain the powers of karma. this is just an example. why? cause sakura already got the base which is the seal, but she just needs the amp (like hinata would need otsutsuki chakra for tenseigan, sasuke had sharingan for the rinnegan and naruto had sage mode for 6P senjutsu)

Well yeah like I said, your logic makes sense. But unfortunately, the movie only indicated one method of unlocking the Tenseigan, and that's when an Otsutsuki is implanted with the Byakugan of a Hyuga. In theory, the reverse should work as well, which is why your logic makes sense, but the reverse was never talked about.

Mitsuki has Tenseigan built into him

Based on the one shot manga where he literally looks like Toneri's Tenseigan chakra mode, Kishimoto's concept art for his Tenseigan chakra mode, and the fact that in the anime episodes (which Kishimoto has a say in what content is published in the animation) Mitsuki can see the snake monster's chakra just like Boruto, except for his eyes don't change. If you noticed though, Mitsuki's eyes were lit up in that dark alley. Could be an indication of his semi-tenseigan because the Tenseigan lit up in the Naruto last movie in certain scenes. Boruto has a more visible semi-tenseigan. Side note: If Boruto is his "sun" and he says that he'll make Boruto happy "this time." Perhaps there's some sort of time travel ninjutsu in the making and Orochimaru knows all about it. Now he's made the ideal Mitsuki clone that matches up with Boruto's Tenseigan power. Sun and moon = Boruto and Mitsuki. If they combine their powers it'll be the ultimate Otsutsuki chakra except it won't have Uchiha mixed in but whatever.

I feel like the Byakugan had so much potential from it’s very beginning. Even by the end of Part 1 alone, where it recieved the most of its development, it already had plenty of broken abilities at its disposal. So I will be exploring the Byakugan’s abilties, the potential of those abilities, and how they could have been used or how they were misused or nerfed.

Byakugan’s vision

The Byakugan’s all-seeing capabilities presented  several oppurtunities where it could have been used effectievly but was completely ignored by Kishimoto simply for the sake of plot. We know that the Byakugan can see the difference between every person’s charkra colors, as shown with Ao noticing Shisui’s chakra flowing through Danzo. Yet, when Hinata ran into Obito during the Itachi Pursuit Saga, where she had her Byakugan active, she somehow missed Obito’s Sharingan and Kakashi’s Sharingan releasing the same chakra. Simply to avoid Obito’s identity being revealed so easily, one of the Byakugan’s abilities was ignored.

Another example of this would be with Kaguya. The Byakugan has a vision of 50 M at its most basic, which can be extended multiple times over should the user choose to do so, with Hinata being able to see as far as 20 KM. Naturally, this would mean Kaguya should have no problem seeing around her. Yet, she missed a massive Susano'O and Sakura being behind her, leading to her being punched and sealed away. The argument that Sakura somehow slipped into the Byakugan’s blindspot makes no sense as, one, that fact is secret to the Hyuga alone, and two, the blind spot is far too narrow for a human to hide behind, as shown with Kidomaru only ever being able to barely hit Neji with his daggers. Simply to shoehorn Sakura into a Team 7 moment, one of the Byakugan’s abilitiies was ignored.

Another instance of Kaguya’s Byakugan not being used simply to aid her insect-like opponents win the battle is when Obito and Sakura snuck into the Core Dimension along with Naruto’s clone. And how did they veil their presence form Kaguya? By hiding behind a hill. And all it would have taken was for her to activate her Byakugan to see them their and prevent them from saving Sasuke.

Another instance of Kaguya’s Byakugan being ignored is when she fell for Naruto’s transformation feint, where he transformed into Sasuke in order to trick Kaguya, which is what ultimately lead to her being sealed again. This makes no sense since the Byakugan can easily tell the difference between people’s chakras, and even if Kaguya was unfamiliar with Naruto and Sasuke’s chakras, this would be irrelevant, as not only would she still be able to see they’re diffrent, she would also be able to see the Sun and Moon seals on their hands regardless of any transformation. 

Finally, there’s Momoshiki, who is in a similar boat to Kaguya. See, its more than apparent that both Kaguya and Momoshiki are massively powerful opponents, far powerful than both Naruto and Sasuke on one on one’s, if not so powerful that defeating them was far too unrealstic for Kishimoto to implement without bending the rules. After all, you have a powerful opponent with an all seeing eye who can absorb chakra, so neither brute force nor sneak attacks can work on either Kaguya or Momoshiki. This is why both of them were defeated in such painstakingly awful ways. With Momoshiki, the explanation given is that Bolt was able to hit Momoshiki with his invisible Rasengan, which makes no sense, as, just like Kaguya, his Byakugan, and even his three Rennigans, should have been able to see the chakra there, even if the Rasengan wasn’t visibly still there. Simply due to shoehorn Bolt into a fight way too big for him, one of the Byakugan’s abilities was ignored.

Momoshiki’s Byakugan’s ability is also ignored when his opponents, like Kaguya, are able to trick him with transformation techniques in order to act as decoys, along with allowing Bolt to sneak in close to hit Momoshiki with his Rasengan, which also wouldn’t be possible if the Byakugan’s abilities were put into consideration,

Divine Rotation

The Divine Rotation is essentially the same as a Susano'O for the Byakugan, acting as a thick barrier of Chakra, but it has an aspect that puts it above the Susano'O in the repelling force it has. Not only that, but we’ve seen both Neji and Hiashi’s Rotations, based on the size of the craters, to be even bigger than some versions of Sussano'O, so it is clearly a ery powerful defense.

The Divine Rotation was shown to be able to block the various wooden spikes showered upon the Shinobi Alliance. Neji notes that the reason that his Rotation was unable to block all of the wooden spikes was simply due to their sheer numbers, and not their speed or force. As such, it makes no sense for him to not have blocked the, what, three at most wooden spikes that were heading towards Naruto’s direction. Now one can argue that Neji wouldn’t have been able to use Rotation in mid-air, but Neji already displayed the ability to spin around in the air during his fight against Naruto in the Chunnin Exams, so simply ejecting Chakra while doing so would not be impossible. Alternatively, even if we were to ignore this argument, Neji could have just as easily used Rotation on the ground to block those three or so wooden spikes .Again, one of the Byakugan’s abilities was ignored for the sake of the plot.

Gentle Fist’s Lethalness

Another way that the Byakugan was limited/hindered was the lack of display of just how lethal the Gentle Fist’s power was. We only ever saw the three fights where a Byakugan user fought other people (Neji VS Hinata, Naruto, Kidomaru), whereas all other later fights were against non-human beings (Zetus and Juubi). As such, the Gentle Fist’s deadliness against normal humans is not displayed much, but it is still there. We see when Neji fights both Naruto and Hinata, he constantly tells them to back off and give up if they don’t want to die, a clear indication that Neji was not going all out against either of them with his Gentle Fist. Yet, even with him holding back, his abilities still enabled him to overwhelm both of his opponents to the point that they weren’t able to stand. However, with Kidomaru, we see that, when a Byakugan user attacks with the intent to kill, they can take down an opponent with one or two strikes, a true testament to how deadly the attack is against people. And yet, we never see a Gentle Fist user fighting normal opponents ever again, almost as if Kishimoto was aware that pitting Taijutsu users against such people would result in short fights due to how fast they’d be killed. 

Blowing Up Bodies

During his fight with Kidomaru, Neji killed Kidomaru’s Spider Summoning by using the Gentle Fist. Neji struck the spider and began ejecting it with Chakra, and it began blowing up rapidly from the inside, until it exploded. And yet, what happened after this? We never saw this lethal, body-exploding ability ever again from any Byakugan user. A technique that kills from inside out within a few seconds is never used ever again. Another example as to how overpowered Kishimoto made the Byakugan to the point that he had to ignore its abilities.

Destroying Chakra

It wa said by Neji that the Gentle Fist can destroy any substance made of chakra simply be injecting chakra into the said substance, and this was displayed by him twice against Kidomaru’s webs and Kisame’s Water Prison. Of course, this is only usable against substances that don’t instantly hurt the user, like Water or Earth, whereas trying to use this on say a Fire or Lightening style technique would likely yield negative results for the Byakugan user. This could have been used against and defeated plenty of opponents, such as destroying Sasori’s or Kankuro’s Chakra Strings, destroying Deidara’s clay, destroying a Susano'O or a Bijuu Avatar, destroying 

Bypassing Chakra Cloaks

The Gentle Fist displayed the ability to completely ignore Chakra Cloaks granted by Chakra Modes, as Hinata was able to use the Gentle Fist to fix Naruto’s shoulder despite him being in Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. This would mean other Chakra Cloaks like the Tenseigan Chakra Cloak or Lightening Style Chakra Cloak would easily have their defensive capabilities ignored by the Gentle Fist.

Medical Ninjutsu

Byakugan had ample, ample potential to be a killer aid for medical ninjutsu. Outside of the obvious ability to provide better insight into the human body thanks to its penetrating and enhanced vision, but the Byakugan also provides high-levels of Chakra Control to its user, as stated in the Twin Lion Fists’ databook entry, meaning the Chakra Control needed for techniques like Mystical Healing Palm would already be present in Byakugan users from birth, making them natures and medical ninjutsu.

Eight Gates

The Eight Gates are said to be nothing more than unique Chakra Points located within a person’s Chakra Network. And the Gentle Fist is used to forciblly open Chakra Points. Thus, it isn’t impossible to say it would have been possible for a Hyuga to use the Gentle Fist to force open their own Gates without needing to train. Imagine an antire clan of people capable of opening the 7th Gate at will without training.

Increasing Chakra Flow

During the Chunnin Exams, when the Gentle Fists’s abilties were being explained, it was said that the technique could be used to both increase and hinder chakra flow, yet we only ever saw the latter ability being used. It could have been that the former, increasing chakra flow, could allow a Byakugan user to gain a boost in speed and power by striking at their own Chakra Points to increase their chakra flow.
