Let me know if you know what a nashi is*, because despite my seeing them in the supermarkets since I was a little child, no one I talk to here seems to have a clue what they are.

They’ve been grown commercially in NZ since 1982 and Australia since 1980, but they’re hard to transport because they bruise easily, so maybe they just aren’t around anymore.

*If you’re from/living in East Asia where they’re from I assume you know, although you might use a different name.

Looked up, saw a rainbow lorikeet just chilling in the pear tree and I thought 'how cute!' Till I remembered that he and his friends probably ate everything on that damn tree 😡

went over and sure enough. Not a single pear in the vicinity that wasn't half gone. They're not even RIPE and they eat them. There were 2 red plums in a tree and they were both half gone too. There is a third nice one that is too underripe yet. I CANT WIN

So Sukuna is from the heian era so he probably has only eaten a couple types of fruit (a quick google search says primary fruit in Japan at that time were persimmon and nashi pear), any ways he's never had strawberries! Or bananas! Or lychees!

I figure he doesn't like pop because it's too sweet and doesn't like popcorn because of the texture. So imagine feeding him some "exotic" fruit for the first time, do you think he'd like them?

Oooh I love that!! I think that Sukuna is very open to tasting food he never tried before. He is curious about it, eager to learn, and eager for a new experience. Also very critical, probably, but I guess with fruit, there wouldn't be much for him to criticize.

I love the idea of feeding Sukuna some fruit he never tried before. There is something very sensual about that. Like imagine holding out a strawberry to him, and you feel his large hand wrap around your wrist and bring the fruit to his mouth while you hold it.

You feel Sukuna's lips and tongue and even his teeth brushing over your fingertips as he eats. He doesn't let you pull your hand away, but you wouldn't even want to. It's so mesmerizing to watch Sukuna taste this new fruit in a way that can only be described as passionate.

His eyes are closed, and he sighs as he swallows, clearly approving of the taste. His mouth closes around the strawberry again, suckling on it, savoring it to the fullest, taking his time to taste it. Your pulse is racing as you watch him. Sukuna is always a beautiful man, but right now he looks otherworldly. You understand why he is called a God. He looks like an angel with his eyes closed and his face soft like that. Somehow, this moment feels so intimate, as if you are allowed to witness something very rare, something almost sacred.

And then those beautiful eyes open and look deeply into yours as a small grin lifts the corners of Sukuna's lips, and his hand tightens around your wrist before you feel his tongue lick up all the juice that was running down your hand, licking all the way up from your racing pulse in your wrist to your tingling fingertips, which he sucks into his warm mouth for a moment.

When Sukuna is finally finished, and no trace of strawberry juice is left on your skin, he presses a light kiss on your fingertips. His voice is low, sounding sensual and very pleased when he tells you,

"That was a true delicacy. Thank you for introducing it to me."

Nashi. My boyfriend got me into them, they are like pears, visiting Japan last year I tried it for the first time and was hooked ever since. But here in NC? The fruit is awful, I don't recommend it hahah.

Favourite season?

Autumn, the leaves are a gorgeous color, the breeze starts to pick up and in the badlands that's a very good thing. I just love it a whole damn lot.

Favourite flower?

Sunflowers, and roses. But sunflowers are my all time favorite.

Favourite scent?

Rain. Whenever I say that I get weird looks because apparently rain doesn't have a scent but they are the crazy ones! Rain water smells so fresh and amazing.

Coffee or tea?

Coffee. Five cups a day, maybe six if I'm extra sleepy and can't go to bed.

Average hours of sleep?

I hardly know what sleep is. 4 hours maybe? That's just a rough estimate. I wake up almost every hour and years ago it was worse because of the nightmares. They aren't nearly as bad anymore and now I have someone who sleeps next to me every night who comforts me, so sleep isn't nearly as terrible.

Dog or cat person?

Cats. I've never even seen a dog before, I thought they weren't around anymore?

Dream trip?

To go somewhere up into the mountains for a few weeks, campout and just forget the world.

when i lived in japan I bonded w/ a friend once about how his host family thought he was insane for Enjoying white rice they were like "rice is a thing you eat to be full wtf. you enjoy the stuff you eat WITH the rice" & he and I were both rightfully like "what the fuck are you talking about rice owns".

i was about to talk about something my host mom said about rice but forget that for a second because it made me think of a funnier thing: every time we had pears she would tell me that when her kids were little & theyd ask what they were gonna have for dessert, she'd tell them "nashi" (梨) (pears) & theyd be like yaaay & she would be like (*evilly*) no I mean nashi as in 無し (none). we're having NONE dessert
