Just a lil update on things general that felt like venting but I wanted to just say that my life has been a tad crazy with workload and changing jobs (positive)

I've been drawing a lot but I just haven't posted anything. I probably will eventually, but I've been hyperfixating on my OCs at the moment, and Idk If I concider this a hiatus really, but I have been taking a big much needed break from everything😌

Block your ex and let go of that situation ship. You reading this KNOW the one I'm talking about.

It's okay to let go of that situation that made you feel so immensely connected to someone you once called a lover. Sure, you went through a lot together and yes, it's going to hurt to remember every time you weren't "good enough."

But also, it's going to feel so good to begin to surround yourself with love again. It doesn't start with others. It starts when you really come to connect with your inner self. You begin to see the things that that EX, that inevitable heartbreak, the constant fighting, the "Why am I not good enough?", the silent rejection...

It's okay to start over. It's okay to take space to evolve yourself and understand what you lost chasing someone else. I promise you. So many people are waiting to meet you, to know you, to understand you. I'm waiting on it! I can't wait!

So block your ex. Stop comparing your future to your past. Release the shame that comes with letting go and letting love in. Letting that lesson stick. You're safe with yourself when you become safe within yourself.

It's a tough process. Trust me, it's capital T tough. But so is writing... and I just wrote all these paragraphs so you know.. You are capable of loving yourself.

Happy World Turtle Day, World Goth Day, AND National Harvey Milk Day! (If you don’t know who Harvey Milk is, was an American politician and the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California (Wikipedia))

A friend of mine challenged me to draw a goth turtle waving a pride flag, and I have to say I’m absolutely in love with the results! 🤩

I debated over whether to go with the Baker design for the flag, because history, but then decided I wanted the flag the turtle was holding to be as inclusive as possible. The spikes on the shell are pink because @skinslip has been putting pick spikes on her jacket in preparation for Pride. Also, the turtle informs me it is non-binary.

Anyway Happy Turtle Goth Milk Day! 🥳
