✨ In a serene corner of our local pond, we watched as the mother duck guided her ducklings through the water, their tiny beaks exploring their new world. Despite the mother’s vigilant protection, the ducklings faced the lurking danger of large mouth bass in the pond. Tragically, all three ducklings were taken by the bass, leaving the mother duck to mourn the loss of her young ones. This cycle of life and death is a stark reminder of nature's unyielding processes. 🌿🐟

After attending Mike Fox's workshop I embarked on two projects for my Temporary expression.

This piece is moving in stages from

conception --to Gestation -- to growth --to conclusion

Right now I'm in the gestation cycle of the Mayfly's life cycle.

I'm learning to engage various processes through photography using a projector to project my image on the wall where I traced it onto a large piece of cardboard. I made a second tracing onto tracing paper incase I need a second copy in the possibility of things going wrong.
