watching the recent NCT scandal with Haechan and Johnny from Japan is insane. Like as an American fan (currently living in Japan), I really don’t care at all other than the fact that someone is clearly trying to slander them and invading their privacy. BUT I really am in disbelief because my Japanese friends who are NCTzens immediately disposed of their photocards. They didn’t even wait to hear SM’s statement or see if it would be disproved.

The difference between international fans reacting to a scandal versus Korean and Japanese fans is insane, and exactly what I had heard would be the case. I’m still truly shocked. (I’m not sure about Chinese or other Asian nationalities. I have no exposure to their reactions.)

I cannot comprehend believing that a celebrity owes you their fidelity.
