I’ve already got dozens of Aus for PL so I may not delve into this fully, but I had an idea and I wanted to share so:

What if, instead of beating Hershel into a coma and ransacking his apartment, the government wanted to take a different action, one more permanent, not as far as murder but perhaps what could be considered much worse fate. Why hurt or kill him when they could use him for something else? They were trying to collect more participants for the Labyrinthia Project after all.

They send him to Labyrinthia, telling the Storyteller to ‘rewrite’ him under threat of closing the project entirely. With no other option, the Storyteller obeys, but gives Hershel quite an important and powerful role to compensate for his lack of a choice in the matter.

He becomes the Storyteller’s right hand, well respected and the only person with the Storyteller’s permission to wield magic in the open. The people of Labyrinthia are weary of him as a result.

Newton and Darklaw were extremely against Hershel being used against his will, but it wasn’t their decision to make, so they just tried to make Hershel feel welcome and helped him through the complete memory wipe and rewrite.

This is still a very basic concept, I’m coming up with details as I’m writing this down, but I wanted to share anyway.

The other set of Vargases came over for a visit and Scriabin picked up Shmee and started talking to Scriabin through him. Very normal, very usual

I downloaded some circle-glasses recolours and hghghh they look so good! Closer every day to his final details! Getting ever closer!

Edgar too! I made him a custom hair with a lighter undercut - I’m mostly happy with it, probably could’ve shifted it a shade closer to his skintone but the texturing was weird no matter what :P And his stripey shirt! I wish Body Shop didn’t have that hands-on-hips pose lol, it looks so much better in-game, but that’s all the better :)

I got some new clothes for Todd as well! As soon as I saw this ‘fit I was like “Oh that’s 100% Todd there he is.” Scriadad hug ♥ So cute
