nikolai hunting ghost down whenever they're on the same base and plucking him from whatever duties he has to whisk him away somewhere private. he has no authority, nothing more than his reputation as a rogue pilot with a few screws loose, but the way he fearlessly manhandles the ghost has people ducking out of his way anyway

behind a locked door, he offers ghost the choice of either curling up at his feet or sitting pliant in his lap, his full weight against him with his head lax on his shoulder; warm, comfortable, boneless

he then tucks his mask up above his lips and plies him with fruit and sweets; things he'd never buy for himself, indulgences he’d never entertain, wasted on a hollow shell like him

but nikolai? oh, he knows how much he deserves them; these precious moments of peace where the only thing ghost exists for is the next delicious bite

he feeds them to him one by one; thumbing strawberry juice and powdered sugar from his lips, humming in pure pleasure as he sucks it away, and smiles at ghost’s involuntary shivers when he feeds him his favourites. ghost doesn't even know what most of the sweets even are; what they’re made of or even what country nikolai buys them from. he just knows he loves them; loves the chase of nikolai’s fingers on his tongue after each one even more

nikolai always brings plenty for him, always draws it out, wanting these rare breaths of contentment to last for ghost’s sake as much as his own; offering plump bites of tart, homemade treats, letting rich chocolate melt between his fingers so it's soft in his mouth and watches his eyes flutter shut as he savours it

decadence incarnate; slow taught and hard won

ghost licks the dregs from his fingers and suckles them long after they're clean; the thought of an empty mouth so wrong to his sweet-clouded mind. nikolai coos in russian down at him, brushing his fingers through his hair as he holds him close, but he's too far away to take in any of it; the only thing holding him in the present the sugared fingers held gently in his mouth

after all, nikolai's always been his favourite sweet

THREAD BREAKING DOWN MONSTER TYPES FROM MY SCOOBY-DOO MONSTER SPREADSHEET

Aliens: 57.14% of all 7 Instances are Real. Most common motive was a tie between Kidnapping and World Domination.

Monsters that are Extraterrestrial in nature!! Notable instances include the Spooky Space Kook and Star Creature listed above. They have a fairly wide range of looks, though the real ones are of the little green men variety. The book actually lists the Future Monster in the same category, but I opted to not include that one as it wasnt from a different planet so much as a different time.

Animals: 22.22% of all 9 Instances are Real. Most Common Motive was Espionage.

Just animals, more sapient or monstrous than usual, but without humanoid traits, or ones that make them resemble other more common monster categories. These tend to be in the Scrappy era for some reason, and Apes are the most common sort of animal to show up, making up 1/3 of instances.

Anthro Animals: 12.5% of all 8 Instances are Real. Most Common Motive was High Value Object Theft.

An animal with some sort of humanoid feature. I usually mark these as being bipedal when they shouldnt be, as well as having an upright posture and human limb arrangement. (some of the just Animals and Multiples with animal elements are occasionally bipedal, but are much more animal and so didnt feel right to be in here)

Creepy Heap from the deep gets special mention for being some weird combination of crab, seaweed, fish, and human. I kinda just put him here cause nothing else fit.

Animated Objects: 25% of 4 Instances are Real. Most Common Motive is Monetary Theft.

An object that's come to life!! 2 of these are just mannequins, with the only one not listed being the Helping Hand from the Addams Family episode. These kind of cross over with the Ghost category, but I seperate it mainly because most of the ghosts arent possessing an object, but rather just exist as is. I could be swayed on the mannequins as they're refered to as possessed, but its not entirely clear if its a ghost or demon thing theyre being percieved as. Kind of a weird category I guess but its all arbitrary at some point.

for anyone who missed it i literally got term'd for like 12+ hours, no idea what caused it. frankly concerned it might happen again bc it happened when the app experience kept breaking on me which I suspect had something to do with it

also Really hated completely losing access to my beloved mutuals like that lmfao if that ever happens again i need you to know it was an accident bc i wouldn't just delete everything without warning. now I want some kind of backup just in case so I can still reach you without remaking.

I hope all of my mutuals know that I appreciate them. For a long time, I was really nervous about joining the Sonic rpc. I wasn't sure if my portrayals would be good enough, especially in regards to my use of EXE media. I know that isn't enjoyed by everyone. But I'm so glad that I finally went ahead with creating my blog. These characters mean a lot to me and I'm happy that I can share them with other people.

I have already met so many cool people!! And have wonderful interactions with everyone both OOC and IC. I can't wait to write more!! And share my headcanons.

considering the true ridiculousness of that heist and how completely implausible every single thing they did was, the episode should have felt slower for me. usually i need a bit more than, waiter who is clearly not like the rest because he's in a literal mask and going in the entire wrong direction, to agree to suspension of disbelief. but even as i was thinking about how truly bad this heist was, it was still enjoyable and hit enough points of tension and had great pacing, and the overall episode felt like it went by in a flash.

but also,,, like, what is the point of it all????? it's not like the one ring. it can't actually do anything. rose's dad doesn't just lose his wealth and privilege because he lost this ring?? (if they do that i am going to both laugh and be so annoyed.) i truly do not understand, but i'm willing to play along because its a fun ride.

To say she had never been in the presence of royalty before would be a lie. However, last time she'd been in a uniform and the meeting had been painfully formal. Now, she was sat across a young man with a tortured expression and a mind full of doubts and fears about the events of the past few months. It had been quite the shock to pretty much the entire world: both king and heir dead and buried within a year. Almost too tragic to be true.

Mathilde had never cared very much about the turmoil and drama of royalty. Except that one time a prince had been working to undermine democracy in a handful countries, but that was a tale for another day. The reason she cared today was simple: there was a possibility that her father's murder was linked to his father's murder. And so when the opportunity arose to once again use her skills in His Majesty's service, she reluctantly took it.

"You know who I am," she hummed, icey blue eyes falling on the prince regent. "So I hope you're smart enough to know that you need me. If you want to know the cold, hard truth about what happened to your father and your brother, I'm the only one who can give it to you."
