(/hj) you ever think abt the difference between making fun of your favorite things and someone else doing it? yeah it's like that basically. i genuinely like the characters league has to offer, but people always think i like the game. (i play it but i usually end up hating most sessions)

your cursor hovers over the fated "find match" button. the button that has been torturing you for at least a few hours now. your dying urge to play "one more game" has you in a chokehold when you just want to win once.

"kenma..." you whine. the pudding head is playing a much more chill game compared to yours, which was slime rancher. it was a little bit nerve-wracking with how easily he almost slipped off ledges, deal with the occasional tarr slime, or the adorably angry slimes in certain paths. but nonetheless, it's a much healthier game to play than league. "it's not like i can even play slime rancher with you, it's not multi-player. just let me have this. i'm gonna win this time. surely. i'll switch to val after this, promise."

"you still won't be playing with me because i don't play valorant." you can imagine his cat-like glare staring at you through the screen. "and you rarely play tft and legends of runeterra."

"it gets me dizzy, alright?! and also you should know how painful it is to get those annoying people who hold my three stars from me!" you pause when he mentions the card game, "the card game isn't that bad. just not my favorite. what about overwatch?"

"your signs can't stop me because i can't read." you read the burst of notifications in discord of kenma and your friends making fun of you for even playing league willingly. "fuck y'all. god forbid, i have a hobby." you huffed.

Out of curiosity I must ask, what League of Legends champion do you absolutely loathe lore wise?

I don't mean that you hate them every time they're on screen and wish that Riot never made them, mind you. I mean they're good in design and execution, but if you were in their world, you'd punch them directly in the balls.

God, like... most of them? Yeah, most of them probably. Might be easier to count the ones I wouldn't get angry with.

Understand, most of these characters are people who wield tremendous power and who, out of the necessity of storytelling, makes really bad choices about how to wield it and wield it unilaterally over other people.

Like, Shen for example, good ol' mister Eye of Twilight, Keeper of the Balance and so on... also happy to just let people get Noxus Murdered because of spirit balances or whatever. Fuck that guy. Punch him in the dick. Nasus is too busy feeling sorry for himself in the desert to give a shit about helping the people he was once sworn to defend, Swain is a military dictator, Darius is the enforcer of military dictatorship, Garen and Fiora both aid and abet an ongoing genocide while Lux is a reprehensible centrist about it, Xayah and Rakan are terrorists targeting human civilians, Bard happily lets entire villages be slaughtered while he collects magic artifacts, Vex killed like hundreds of thousands of people during the Ruination... it goes on like this.

So yeah. Lillia is cute and good and deserves the world. Ekko and his crew have never done anything wrong, ever, and protect Zeri at all costs. Yuumi is baby. I'd try goat's milk to drink with Braum, and I'd love to share a campfire with Taliyah and her folks. Nami seems alright, Neeko would be fun to chat with, I wish to build a snowman with Nunu and Willump. Poppy is okay, but we don't know if she's on the mages' side yet, so, hm. Soraka is welcome at the party though!

And y'know what, Seraphine and Gwen can come too, they seem like they'd be baseline pleasant to have around.

Said this out loud to a friend before AND after I saw the movie, but Nimona of Nimona and Neeko from League of Legends need to meet and be best friends like right now in my brain. This is where I admit I'm a dirty League player/j to Tumblr but it's only bcs there are cute girls I wish to be besties with(Neeko) or kiss(Soraka) on there.

Nimona might think it's weird Neeko has a "default form" when Nimona is constantly shifting but I think the "Neeko is Neeko" part of things will cover that, also Neeko would not question Nimona's...anything after a few hours of talking.

I swear there would be nothing safe if they teamed up. Neeko would tell Nimona about the time she watched a bunch of humans kill each other at a military base over a "monster" and Nimona would 100% understand that Neeko was the monster but and think it was awesome instead of horrifying. Neeko would think Nimona is wild but that ain't gonna bother her because why would it? Clearly Nimona just needs a friend to eat cheese breads with and she will be nice to you-

Also the "strong tomato" joke would be too easy here. Nimona is ALWAYS red in some way. Hell the difference in their hsapeshifting would be so fun to mess with. Neeko can become OBJECTS as well as people and animals/creatures with no clear indication it's her meanwhile Nimona can become any living ANIMAL-like creature or person but you know it's her from the red color on the form somewhere. Neeko couldnt becomes Nimona due to them having no "true form" but could be whatever Nimona's spirit was in the moment. Nimona could become Neeko easily but with her usual twist.

I can and will ramble more about this bcs I have like 5 drawings in my head that need to come out that expand on all of this even more, but for rn I promised a friend I'd read something for him and need to get on that. Talking about this might make me more likely to make the drawings later on :3

🌟 Today’s solo, meant a lot too me. Seonghwa requested that we go and visit this little community a little ways out from our center. He wanted to buy some treats, flowers and a lot of stuffed animals. I was a little confused at first until we arrived at our destination…

oh my gosh~ they were just… everywhere! So the woman who were with him in the breeding center wanted to all stay together. A hybrid community had just opened up a few new homes and actually gave them the 2 houses they built and connected them so the babies could have enough space to run around and play. They are all safe and living without any fears and are just, happy that they’re out of that horrible place.

None of the women hold any of the children over Seonghwa’s head; they don’t fault him for what happened and are happy that he’s somewhere safe. Me and Seonghwa were introduced as their aunt and uncle since they’re all a little too young to fully understand that they are all actually half brothers and sisters (they all ranger from 4- a few months). When they get a bit older, they’ll all come together and explain IF the question ever arises. But for now, it’s best to just let them be happy and bounce around.

It was so.. just.. touching see him interact with his children. They loved him so so much! They most followed him around the yard~ it’s was so cute. The children all took a nap in a cute little pile while the adults were in the kitchen. I was properly introduced as Seonghwa’s new caretaker and I met each mother. They are the sweetest women, I’ve ever met. It was really wholesome watching them with Hwa. You could tell there’s a bond with each of them. I was so honored to meet his family.. We decided to make visiting the children a regular thing so he won’t miss out on anything! The children will be shifting for the first time next week, so we’ve already set up a date so he could stay over here for a week! The mom’s have also decided to allow me and Seonghwa to watch over the children sometimes!!

Today was such an amazing day! Being surrounded by such a loving family like that.. makes me think about having one at some point 🩷

Neeko had been on Jinx's tail for a while now. She had seen the blue haired one do a lot of things, and also saw how intelligent she was..... According to Neeko, she was perfect! Yet, Neeko couldn't guess as she's not used to the human nature, she knows little more than her jungle and her dear Nidalee, the human point of view is not something she had much knowledge about and the thought that Jinx might not want to help her didn't even cross her sweet little mind.

She had tried to be careful the other times, but at some point, the huge metal.collar wrapped around her think neck bumped against a nearby wall, alerting the other of her presence, forcing her to reveal herself. Neeko wasn't like any species that ever been to Zaun... She was anthropomorphic, yet the tips of her members assumed a green and pink tone, as well as her long tail that swished happily behind her. Her face was round and she had a pair of big, yellow eyes that looked anything but human. The green color spread through her back and shoulders and up to her neck, splashes of color on her face too as well as her striking purple hair. "Blue lady! Neeko has been watching blue lady! She goes boom boom! She's smart! She can help Neeko!" She smiles happily, then points to the metallic collar around her neck. "Smelly men put Neeko in cage, but Neeko is smart and ran away, yet Neeko couldn't take this off...." She pouted. "....But blue lady can!"

Jinx had excused the sensation of being followed with the assumption that it was just her head messing with her again. While she had felt eyes staring into her back, whenever she had spun around in mistrust to check, she had seen nothing. Thus it must have been a hallucination, her mind had cooked up. Maybe Mylo or Claggor lingering in the periphery of her vision? Though, usually, she could tell it was them quite easily.

Not this time though. This time, the clunk of metal against stone felt far too real. Jinx swiftly spun around, drawing Zapper from his holster mid-turn and aiming it at the creature in front of her. Vastaya. That was the first impulsive thought, Jinx had as she inspected the green limbs, the patterns across the creature's back, the long swooshing tail and the round, almost endearing face, which despite its reptilian eyes seemed warm and inviting. There was an innocence in those yellow eyes or maybe a touch of naivety. As if the Vastaya had not yet identified that they were facing a weapon or someone with potential ill intent. Though if she were honest, Jinx had not yet decided whether she wanted to shoot that creature.

Jinx's head tilted aside as the creature, this Neeko, began to speak. While her speech pattern was unusual and unfamiliar, it was still easily understandable. Her sapphire-blue eyes fell upon the metal collar around Neeko's neck. The remains of a broken chain dangled from it. She must have been part of a freak show or a quack doctor's collection. Maybe she had even escaped from Singed? No, that made little sense. The Doctor's experiments were way more perverted than that cute, little reptile.

Jinx pursed her lips and clicked her tongue before she said: "That's right. I likely could help you... Neeko, was it? Though how long have you been following me and since when are you in Zaun? This is no place for little prey animals like you."

I love the games riot have been making they are so so fun and the art style and lore are always so pretty and interesting! I know we are getting Song of Nunu next but I'm really hoping for a game based in Ionia where you play as Neeko and you travel around Ionia and join many different groups fronting as members. Like each other? tolerate each other? thing that I enjoy. Nidalee and Neeko are cute, Katarina and Garen, basic? yes, a little boring? Maybe. Funny? Absolutely. Scratch and Seraphine are Disney channel band movie level fluff. Leona and Diana are the perfect tragic sun-moon lesbians.

Headcanons:

Super Galaxy and Odyssey skin lines are existing in the same universe. It's fun to me.

In one of many timelines, The Institute exists.

Senna and Lucian plus Gwen form a sweet family dynamic. They meet with the other sentinels on weekends.
