hi yall! it’s time for another signature Bex Announcement!

this is something i’ve been thinking about for quite a while now, and it’s something i’ve recently shared with a few close friends. i’ve had a lot of nerves around this because i’ve been questioning my pronouns and gender and what it all means for me. i’m still exploring my gender and trying to find who i am, and right now i don’t have a label for my gender, but i am continuing to learn and explore my truest self! but, with that being said, i do feel confident about changing my pronouns a little! if that’s okay with yall? i’ve had such a special connection with the names i’ve chosen to use here on tumblr with yall, and i’m ready to further explore those names with new pronouns!

my new pronouns are she/he (though my primary ones will continue to be she/her)

i prefer she/her with the names: bex, jasmine, bubbles, starry

i prefer he/him with the names: baz, oliver

if yall could please use these pronouns with these names, that would really mean a lot to me <3 if you’re not specifically using one of these names, you can continue to use my primary pronouns of she/her. but if you use my masculine names, or if I am using my masculine names on my personal posts, please refer to me with he/him pronouns.

thank you all endlessly for all the support and love. yall make me feel so safe to explore who i am and i’m really grateful and thankful to you all for being here with me on this journey. I love you all <3

Belatedly realising for the first time a link between what the necrotic effects of Bhaal's daggers, and what they do when they inflict wounds:

So I'm jotting that down under 'new toys for maiming my murderspawn with.' Jergal is a giant mumified bug and probably not one for vanity, he'll bring you back to life but probably not extend more than the minimum divine energy. Keeping you pretty's not on the agenda: Those are going to leave fascinating scars.

Strong points of The Promised Neverland Season 2:

great opening

the first two and a half episodes were nicely done with cuts in the story I can accept due to the limits of the medium anime

Gilda getting at Emma‘s ass? hilarious

the hunting scene with Emma and Sonju was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life with wonderfully done, fluid animation and genius callbacks to S1

great visuals througout the whole season, ngl (e.g. Norman‘s speech in his coat? chef‘s kiss)

bebe Norman? Sign me the fuck up! also his downfall to madness in Ep.8 was a joy to watch

James animated! and coloured! moving and speaking and... dying?

overall, they had clearly visions and ideas, even original ones I'd love to see Cloverworks develop even further and differ from the manga's original story

That being said, what didn‘t work (for me)?

With all the original ideas they had, they surely did nothing with them, sadly

the anime could have given us more time with the kids adapting to the demon world, Norman‘s time in Lambda, even them travelling with Mujika and Sonju, but noooo…

characters being flatened. Emma turned into a self-loathing mess, Ray‘s now not caring about anyone besides his family, and Norman… was pushed into our faces every few seconds because everyone missed him so much and couldn‘t function without him. Whack

picking up the violin is a fascinating exercise in self restraint because i’ve been playing cello for 16 years, the majority of that in orchestras where i was watching violinists learn when I wasn’t learning myself, so i 1. have a pretty good grasp of the theory 2. am BLOWN AWAY by how much EASIER it is to just haul around and move and finger and tbh to hear the notes in my head.

the self restraint comes in when i play for more then 10 minutes at a stretch and get reminded that i have NONE of the muscle requirements for this thing and if i don’t build it up a little at a time i will be so sorry. insane that holding something down with your chin on one side affects your lower back on the other.

I am seriously considering getting nyquil or something because the stress insomnia is killing me. It is 4:48. I have not slept more than 3 hours together in almost a week. I woke up because my body thinks tigers are going to eat me if I can't get my car title figured out and the last of my furniture gone. Moving is one of the circles of hell.
