Real talk? I've been running on caffeine, cortisol, and cosmic fumes lately. Between the shifts, synapses, and sudden existential spirals mid-bartend, this neural rave bae has been burned out but still blooming. 💅🏼
Mental health? Fragile but glittery. ✨being gently duct-taped together✨ Work hours? Criminal. Glow-up? Glitching, but in progress. Tumblr blogs? Almost done, I swear. Loading… slowly but neuro-surely. But trust me—I haven’t forgotten.
Working all week, mentally breakdancing by day and spiraling romantically by night. And yet? Still making blog magic behind the scenes.
~˖⁺‧₊˚ 🎧 BASS DROP LOADING… 🎛️ ˚₊‧⁺˖~
🌙💻✨ I’m working behind the scenes to finalize everything ASE: 🤓 — scientific stardust and neuro-aesthetics 🧠 — synaptic sparks in the mind, body, and soul 🔮 — weird facts, nerdy lore, and sparkly truths ✨ — moodboards and motivation, mayhem and midnight musings 🌛 — bass drops and magical neuronal frequencies 🎶 — thought dumps and theories 💌 — inner alchemy ⚗️ — and that soft, nerdy, mystical chaos we all crave. 🌀
So please… Hold on—neural bass bloom incoming. 🎶🌌
Working all week, mentally breakdancing by day and spiraling romantically by night. And yet? Still making blog magic behind the scenes.
Thank you for sticking with me through the storm, the synapse snaps, and the soft launches. Y’all are the serotonin I didn't know I needed. 🩵
˗ˏˋ 🍸 M I X I N G D R I N K S + D O P A M I N E 💊 ˎˊ˗
Neurons fried, serotonin sapped, sleep schedule? Nonexistent. But the grind never stops—even when your frontal lobe begs for mercy. 💻🧠💫
Stay tuned, stay weird, and stay hydrated. 👽
@asecodex (purple prose, cognitive chaos, and all things ASE) @cognitioarcana (where research and raves go together- aka independent research and deep dives with scholarly sources focused on neuroscience, psychology, neuropharmacology, and anything else I might hyper fixate on) and then THIS blog @cerebralvioletaliens98 which is my primary and will focus on fun facts, polls, random posts, and the day-to-day.

"We call you Orville Redenbacher 'cause you corny"
Tumblr media
My mom and Redenbacher share a birthday although, he was born in Brazil, Indiana. Redenbacher and co launched their popping co in 1970. Redenbacher died in a hot tub the same year I was born.

Griztronics II dropped and suddenly I’m:
🧠 forgetting my ex 💃 throwing it back in 4D ⚡️ rewiring my frontal lobe mid-drop 🔊 leveling up into a neurodivergent rave goddess
This isn’t just a bassline, it’s a personality shift. Call it synaptic subwoofer therapy. Catch me in the crowd mouthing “talkin’ bout–” like it’s a summoning spell 💋

"LEEROY JENKINS!" — The Neuroscience of Seizing the Day
Sometimes, you just have to charge in, shouting your name, and embrace the chaos.
And, Sometimes you have to be AFK, come back, and charge in like your synapses are on fire. No plan. No prep. Just pure neurochemical conviction.
🧠 Neuro Fun Fact #1: Your prefrontal cortex (the part that handles logic and planning) is notoriously slow to mature. That’s why young brains are more prone to yelling "LEROOOOY JENKINS!" and less prone to making PowerPoints first. "What do you think Abdul, can you give me a number crunch?" Your brain isn't fully developed until around age 25, particularly the prefrontal cortex, which governs planning and impulse control. This means younger individuals are more prone to spontaneous decisions—like, say, rushing into battle without a plan. "Oh God, he just ran in."
🧠 Neuro Fun Fact #2: Your brain generates enough electricity to light a 25-watt bulb. That split-second “let’s do this” moment? So, when you're feeling that surge of inspiration to act boldly, it's literally electric. Yeah. That’s literal neural lightning. ⚡️
🧠 Neuro Fun Fact #3: The holy trinity of impulsive decisions:
Dopamine = go go go
Norepinephrine = tunnel vision activated
Serotonin = “Are you sure about this?” (Ignored.)
🧠 Bonus Neurotransmitter Nugget: When you’re gearing up for action, dopamine spikes to drive motivation and risk-taking. Norepinephrine sharpens your focus and floods your system in moments of urgency, while serotonin tries to keep your mood and confidence in check. It’s a biochemical battle cry.
So next time you're standing on the edge of a big decision, channel your inner Leeroy. Fortune favors the bold, and sometimes... the brain does too.
So what’s the lesson? ✨ Carpe synapsis. ⚔️ Storm the dungeon. 🧪 Make questionable choices for the plot. 💥 Bonus points if you yell your name dramatically.
“At least I have chicken.” —Leeroy Jenkins, 2005
Carpe Diem. Charge ahead.
