i was thinking about that ask i received the other day and how uncharacteristically upset the topic had made me when i usually just think "mh. gross!" and move on, and after mulling it over a while i realized it wasn't about the topic at all, it was the ask itself that freaked me out. i've mentioned sporadically before (for obvious reasons lol) that i used to be involved in fandom discourse when i was younger and that!! fucked me up quite a lot. between exacerbating my ocd and straight up getting cyber stalked (i almost feel guilty using that word, like i don't deserve it but. yeah that is 100% what happened to me), the topic is something I have very complex and personal opinions on but that i hate talking about in public because it still sets off my fight or flight response.

i know some people in the fandom are like "let me know if i ever rb someone who wrote/drew gross stuff" and that's entirely their choice and i respect it. but for the record, i am not one of these people. please, for the love of god, i am asking this genuinely do NOT come into my DMs about this, I don't want to know. assume I'm either living in blissful ignorance or my blacklist already covers me quite nicely & i wanna keep it that way. i vastly prefer the discomfort of stumbling into something unprepared and deciding what to do about it on my own, to the utter pit of dread i get whenever i open a message that starts with "hey just so you know-". i have blocked multiple people in the past over it. i WILL block more. be warned.

In theory I'm down with the concept of characters romancing each other if not pursued by the player character. Less so in practice because I have historically never liked the combinations bioware makes on their own.

gus and ace friendship except its based less on actual friendship and more based on "oh my god the fermins are so fucking oblivious it should actually be scientifically studied." gus has practically proposed to keith like 8 times. mira has had a crush on DAN before even considering she might have feelings for ace. gus knows that keith is emotionally constipated so hes almost coping with it better cuz thats Just What Keith Is Like. ace is attempting to console themselves w the thought process of "if mira can fall in love w dan, her standards might be low enough to fall in love w me. maybe." its not working out for them but its all they've got. they are both suffering immensely.

meanwhile the fermins are in an endless feedback loop of "keith, gus likes youuuuu" "no he doesn't he just sees me as like a friend or something" "ur kidding" "anyway ur one to talk, whats up with you and ace" "wdym??? we're just best friends" "ur kidding"

Sorry if youve already talked about them before or been asked about them before but!!! very very curious, do Aster and Top (Zephyrtale Gaster & Undertop Gaster respectively) exist in your multiverse/interpretation of UTMV? Does your Ink have a familial connection with them like how Comyet’s/“Canon Ink” does? If not, id LOVE LOVE to know how your Ink would react to things in Zephyrtop etc. like Top’s circus.. or Aster’s gaster blaster-dragons… i’d like to think he might like riding them.. <:o) (though wether or not he’d be ALLOWED to is a whole other conversation..)

Ink's a true CLOWN. my man is in his element in that circus and the center of attention for his entire visit there, I don't think top would like how comfortable ink is with messing around with everything (and taking away his spotlight)

also ink is a shithead that does everything top tells him not to do 'cuz he finds it funny, so if ink ever went there he would get banned from the circus lolol

With aster, yes he would definitely try to ride the big dogs even if aster tells him not to.

But also, aster is described as very soft-spoken and awkward, and ink is like an old person who never stops yapping and can't hear very well, so ink is basically dominating every conversation he has with aster and the poor guy can't even get a word in

(NOT ATSV) my ideal miguel and miles friendship (bordering on enemies) dynamic is where Miles is sort of a Mean Girls figure where he’ll say the worst things to Miguel, who actually has no problems dishing that shit right back out, is usually too fed up or somewhere else mentally to reply. They fight a lot, more physically than verbally, usually in a slapstick comedy type of way. Miles is banned from Nueva York once a month and got a restraining order against Miguel in his own dimension. His parents fucking hate him and Miguel hates them right back. Rio has tried and failed to poison him via food and Jeff is considering hiring a hitman. Gabriel is beloved by them. Miles takes Miguel’s money at least twice a week to go spend it just because he can. Miguel has tried (and succeeded once) to get Miles sick with a future illness because he figured out the lesbian bar Miguel liked to perform at in drag. Miles has cried at least once in every room of Miguel’s apartment and Miguel has been confused on what to do each time besides an awkward hug and pat on the back. People are rightfully worried for Miles’s safety at least 80% of the time but when they aren’t they’re shaking their heads at the two’s antics. They need to be separated until they have a healthy “this is a grown ass man / this is stupid little girl i don’t like at work” relationship and it’ll take an act of god for either of them to realize their current one isn’t healthy at all and has extremely negative impacts on their mental state.

I love that the bg3 guys are all written to have this intense adoration of karlach and lae’zel’s abilities to absolutely eviscerate their enemies. they’ve all got the same taste in women, which is “she could gut the big scary man chasing me, and then princess carry me to safety in her blood spattered arms.” and I respect and relate to that, as a bisexual man myself.

tbh 911 gave me the ick with this cheating with the dead wife's doppelganger plotline, like maybe it'll be great tv but i don't wanna watch eddie self destruct for the 3rd time while buck dates a boring white carbon copy of him

i know the season's not over yet, but this last episode massively popped the balloon that was my excitement for next season. it just immediately feels like a very serious and fucked up plotline that they're not gonna do justice. and like now i know eddie's still gonna be fuckin miserable come fall and if tommy's still around i'm gonna have to find more tags to block just to avoid it
