Characters: Shu, Tsumugi

Season: Winter

Shu: —You don’t need to apologise so much. I understand the situation well.

If you feel sorry for me, end the call now, return to the site and make an effort to solve the problem.

Yes. That's fine. Well, I'll be waiting at the usual café.

(More than anything, it's hard to believe that problems would arise at work for a small girl only on the day that we're making arrangements for the feature live.)

(Oh well, if I read a book, the time will pass quickly.)

(Moreover, I haven't been to that café in a while and I'm looking forward to eating the soft bread.)

(Although the patronage has changed after the shuffle unit project, I just hope that it doesn't become so noisy.)

Tsumugi: ...

Huh? Is that Shu-kun?

Shu: ...

Tsumugi: It's Shu-kun isn't it? Why are you ignoring me?

Shu: ...

Tsumugi: H-Huh? Can you really not hear me? Shu-kun, it's me! It's Tsumugi Aoba~!

Shu: ...I don't want you raising your voice so close to my ear, Aoba.

Tsumugi: Ah, you finally noticed me...! Thank goodness.

Shu: I'm not good at all... I never thought I'd bump into you in the middle of town like this.

Tsumugi: Fufu. I was surprised too. Even though I knew you wanted to return to Japan.

Are you going to ES from here? Or is it something else?

Shu: I'm on the way to the café from when we were in a shuffle unit together.

Tsumugi: Aah, it was promoted as BLEND+...

But... I thought for certain that café was closed today?

Shu: ...What? I thought that café was only supposed to be closed during national holidays?

Tsumugi: Yes. That was originally true but...

Because the café now has a reputation for being familiar with ES rookie idols, the business structure has changed a little bit.

But, it very rarely has days off. I remembered it's closed today because it's so rare.

Shu: Ha. The café is closed and there's trouble at the girl's work... Today must be my unlucky day.

Tsumugi: Is Anzu-chan in trouble?

Shu: Ah, you don't need to worry. The problem isn't as big as it seems.

But... She did just contact me to inform me we she wouldn't make it in time for the feature live briefing.

Tsumugi: I see. I guess it's Shu-kun's turn next.

Does that mean the bag you're holding is a present for Anzu-chan? And my souvenir... I don't expect you got me anything?

Shu: You know very well. Of course not.

Tsumugi: Uh. I thought so but, you say it so bluntly...

Shu: I question why you thought I would give you something in the first place. I have no intention of gifting you something as though we're friends.

Tsumugi: Eh~ I though we'd become close after forming the shuffle unit together...

I'm shocked, Shu-kun.

Shu: You're being awfully troublesome today.

Haa... If you really want a souvenir, feel free to have some of the pastries I left in the Starmony Hall shared room.

Tsumugi: Are they a souvenir for everyone at Starmony? How strange, for Shu-kun to do such a thing.

Shu: I suppose. Since I return to Japan to often, if I bought souvenirs every time there would never be an end to it.

...However, I once had someone help me pick a souvenir for a friend in Paris.

It's late but, I just thought I should show my gratitude.

Tsumugi: ...♪

Shu: ...What. I don't want to see that disgusting look on your face.

Tsumugi: I just think Shu-kun really has changed♪

No, you were always like that, but it's started to come through recently.

In any case, take my word that I'll be very thankful when I go back to Starmony Hall.

Shu: Hmph. Do as you wish.

Tsumugi: In that case, I'll be on my way. I'm looking forward to Shu-kun's feature live♪

Shu: You really haven't changed, Aoba...

(Right, I'd better inform the girl we can't use the usual café for our meeting.)

Shu: Over here, girl.

I've had enough apologies. I've heard all about the situation and it's no fault of yours.

By knowing about the works that I feel comfortable with, perhaps you can get closer to my point of view.

If you do that, we can come to an understanding about what my ideal performance is, can we not?

We can both envisage the same perfect form.

That is very important in a collaborative production.

Although, you can't come to understand the world of art in only a day.

At the very least, I hope it helps you expand your perspective.

You seem to enjoy it... Yes, give me your best effort.

However, you're eating more than I expected. Well, if you're happy don't feel bad.

Right, lets begin the meeting for the feature live right away.

Hm? You're asking what we should do about the pamphlet photography?

...That being said, what do you think about a photoshoot in Paris.

Although I return to Japan occasionally, my current working location is Paris.

In that case, it would make sense to take the off-shots in Paris, and above all, that would allow Shu Itsuki to demonstrate his strengths as an artist.

"I'll check my schedule"?

...You can come to my group exhibitions sneakily with Kagehira, but you can't just reply to my invitation?

Don't worry, I'll act as your guide.

PROGRESS UPDATE - 7/7/24

Hello hello, we've had a bit of a lull but we're making enough progress now to give a report.

Episode 16:

We've got about 50% of the scenes edited together with vocals and we're hoping to start speeding up the process. 1 scene has SFX. Much of the artwork is done, with only a few major scenes left to be drawn and some minor moments that are optional.

Episode 17:

We've got all the lines in now, save for 1 minor extra which won't be an issue. Proper production can now start, which means we'll probably soon open up art claims for the artists. Voice audio needs clean up then we'll begin editing the scenes together.

Episode 18:

Might consider casting call soon for this episode, it will be within the crew first and if any voices are still needed we will open it up to fans.

Dalek Special:

We have a silly little dalek parody video releasing tomorrow, it was a time sensitive thing so we couldn't release it on the usual weekend time.

Remodeling Short:

We have the next episode short ready, audio is done and it just needs some art.

Stained Glass Short:

Being edited right now, it's being chipped away at as the editor has been quite busy.

Song remake with 2 variations:

We've remade one of the older songs from DWnA that we all felt really needed it. No one involved with the song felt good about it, so we're releasing 2 versions that should do it proper justice.

Trailer for season 2:

We have a trailer for season 2 on the way! The audio is done, it just needs some art!

Season 2 Intro animation:

Can't remember if we announced this but the season 2 intro animation is done and looks fantastic! We're going to let it premier with episode 16.

Plenty of tiktok shorts:

We've been throwing together a lot of videos to post on our tiktok, and we're excited to keep making more since yesterday a video we posted reached 100k views overnight!

Two scripts underway for special side content:

Can't really go into detail here because these are still in infant stages of development but they are coming along nicely and are both related to DWnA

Christmas Special 'First Snow':

We're aiming to have a christmas special ready this year, we're going to start casting characters soon so we can get a head start!

Doctor Whooves Adventures:

Bells of Fate pt 2 has an outline and a draft which can be salvaged to make the writing process easier. Most character VAs have agreed to come back and reprise their roles.

Aristotle's Apocalypse:

First episode is scripted, second episode is outlined. Recording will start when second episode is scripted.

Pocket Dice:

We've been slowly working on getting old Pocket Dice videos prepared for youtube, there's a lot of content so it's a lengthy process to go through it all for quality assurance.

The Life of the Morningstars - Chapter 7:

"Maybe it's time."

"No."

"To ask."

"Don't say it!"

"Your dad."

What was this mess that Alastor had walked in on? The princess seemed to be lacking sleep and extremely stressed. The cork board a mess of ideas. Not to mention that odd reaction over asking the king for assistance. Was he that much of a neglectful father?

"Charlie, I know you don't want to. But we need every advantage we can get."

"But this is my project. I don't want to bother him with it. I know he said he'd help with whatever I need, but he's also been really busy since I told him about the Extermination Day move up. At least I hope he's busy with that and not having another bad episode... especially since this type of work involves him talking to Heaven. No. Wait! I can show him that I can be the best alpha for a pack ever! Invite him over and show him all the hard work we're doing."

"Seeing this place and all your effort might have him offering his help so you don't have to ask."

"Yes! My thoughts exactly Vaggie." Taking out her phone, Charlie hesitated to call him. She didn't want him to feel like she was coddling him. The alpha didn't need another stern but caring lecture about how he was the parent and was supposed to take care of her, not the other way around. But they had always taken care of each other. Even before mom left.

"What's the hold up? You got daddy issues?" Husk asked even though he could already see it in everything the princess did. It was like she had a neon sign following her around telling everyone about it.

"What? No. We just... He doesn't like when I try and take care of him. Even though he's been depressed since mom left and broke their mating bond. He throws himself into his work or passion projects so much that he hardly ever calls me. I'm usually the one to call and check in on him. Which scares me... I don't want a repeat of the last time." As she spoke, Charlie felt that nagging feeling in the back of her head telling her that something was very wrong. That she needed to rush over to the palace. Now.

"Daddy issues."

"Well, I'd like to meet the big dick in charge."

"The ultimate bad boy~ I bet he's scary."

Trying to ignore Niffty's manic laughter, Charlie finally gave in and hit the call button. "Please... please, please, please pick up."

Lying in bed, Lucifer shifted and groaned at the sound of his phone. How long had he been asleep? Why was it so dark? He could have sworn he had kept the light on to work. He didn't even remember crawling into bed. Maybe Beel or Ozzie stopped by and found him asleep at his workstation again. Grabbing his phone, he was surprised to see who was calling. "Daughter- daughter?! Daughter calling?! Oh fuck. When was the last time we spoke? Did I go too long without contacting her again? Oh, she must be so worried."

Quickly answering, Lucifer tried to make himself sound awake and perky instead of dead tried. No matter how much sleep he's been getting lately it never feels like it's enough. "Hey sweetie."

"Hi dad. I-Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. Everything's fine. I just woke up actually. Uh... h-how did it go confronting that Overlord?"

"...It didn't go well- Dad is that the last thing you remember before your nap?" Fuck. She sounded worried. He didn't wanna lie to her...

"Y-Yes."

"Oh fuck..."

Tyler Hoechlin-Our Love

A New Show And New Family

February 2010

I wake up with a mixture of excitement and nerves. Today is the first day I meet all of my new cast mates for the new show Teen Wolf. Durning my audition I met Tyler Hoechlin, apparently they liked our chemistry so I was cast to be the love interest of Derek Hale. The backstory is that Derek and Estella were childhood friends and haven't left each other's side since the Hale fire.

I have a shower and do my usual morning routine. Get dressed and just put on a little tinted moisturiser since all I'm doing today is a table read. I jump into my car and drive to the location I was text.

When I arrive I'm assured to a room. Opening the door I'm greeted my a lot of smiling faces

"YN take a seat next to Tyler" Jeff motions for me to sit

"Hey YN it's good to see you again" Tyler says smiling

"Yes you too. How are you feeling about the script?" I ask

"Good. I'm really liking how Derek is portrayed so far. What about you?"

"Same really. Little nervous about getting the character Estella right. This is my first show"

"You'll do just fine. Just remember to make the character your own. Yes you have the guidance of the script on what your character is doing, but be mindful of making her real. Does that make sense?"

"It does thank you"

"Right everyone, now that we're all here I want us to just get to know each other first. So just go round telling us your names and who are are playing" Jeff says.

Near the end of the pilot episode, Scott is running through the wood during a full moon looking for Allison

"Where is she?" Tyler says through gritted teeth how he thinks Scott would say this line

"She's safe from you" I say, when we act this out, Tyler H will jump on to Tyler P

"What did you do to her?"

"Shh quiet" Tyler H says whispering

"Der we're to late they're already here"

"Run" Tyler says. The stage directions tell us that we all run but Scott gets shot with an arrow. Allison dad is revealed as the hunter. Between Derek and Estella they save Scott

"Who were they?"

"Hunters" I say

"They've been hunting us for centuries"

"Us?" Tyler whisper yells "you mean you. You both did this to me" he now yells

"It's not that bad" I huff

"You can see better, hear more clearly, move faster than any human could hope. You've been given something most humans would kill for. The bite is a gift"

"I don't want it"

"Ah we have a problem then. Unfortunately the bite doesn't come with a gift receipt. Your kinda stuck with it now" I'm loving Estella’s attitude is so far

"Your gonna need us if you want to learn how to control it. So Estella, you and me Scott, we're family now" it then says that Estella and Derek leave Scott alone in the woods.

We finish up reading the script and Jeff tells us all what our call times will be tomorrow

"YN can you be on set for 4pm?"

"Sounds good to me" I give Jeff a smile

"Lovely. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Rest up tonight we have a busy first day tomorrow" we all say bye to Jeff and each other looking forward to this project.

I head over to my parents house, finding my mom in the kitchen with oven mitts on

“Hi love. Dinner won’t be to long now”

“I’ll set the table” there’s a little bit of silence until mom asks

"So what's everyone like? Make any friends?"

"Mom" I laugh placing down the cutlery on the table "your talking like I'm back at high school"

"Well you basically are"

"Mmm smells good!" Dad walks into the kitchen/dining room. I promised them that I would have dinner with them both today after my first day

"Thank you dear. YN you never answered my question"

"Mom it was the first day. I barely even remember anyones names at the moment. I go on set tomorrow at 4 in the afternoon so I guess tomorrow I will get to know everyone a little better" mom plates up our food

"You never know you may fall in love. That's usually what happens on these tv shows right?"

"Mom seriously I'm not looking for anything. And anyway I think dating a costar would be difficult"

"She's right Steph, no boyfriends till she's 50"

"Dad!" I nudge him as we all sit down for our food.

March 2010

It’s been 3 weeks now since the table read and filming has been going well. Everyone on set is so sweet. Holland and Crystal are quickly becoming 2 of my best friends. Tyler H and I have also been getting super close, which is good because our characters are sickeningly in love.

Today we have a day off so we have decided to head out for some food

“So YN where are you from?” Crystal asks

“Here actually in Atlanta, I’m able to drive home from set”

“And why have we not had cheese and wine nights at your place yet?” Holland laughs

“My place is a mess. I’ve literally just moved into it so not happening anytime soon” I giggle

“You should have said. We can come over and help. Get the boys painting and we can do the DIY” Crystal says seriously

“I couldn’t have asked any of you to do”

“Your not. We’d be happy to help”

“Are you sure?” I look at Tyler H

“Of course”

“Ok well our next day off I’ll text you all my address and you guys can come over”

March 2010

A week later everyone is at my apartment helping me build my furniture and paint my walls

“Here” I hand a drink to Tyler, Posey and Dylan

“Thanks YN” Tyler says

“What do you think?” Dylan asks standing back to look at his work

“Looks good. I really appreciate this guys thank you”

“It’s not a problem. I’ve had a pretty good day” Posey laughs before sipping his drink.

By the end of the day everyone leaves except for Tyler H

“I’ve still got so much to do” I groan flopping on my couch

“What time do you finish tomorrow?”

“2pm, why?”

“I finish at 4. I can come over tomorrow after and help you finish up”

“Oh no It’s ok don’t worry”

“I’ll be over at 4:30 tomorrow”

“Thanks” there’s a slight pause “do you want anything to eat? I can order something for us”

Tyler agrees and we end up binging on pizza while watching Friends.

If Pryce and Cutter hate the youths so much, then why don't they move across the universe to get the marriage counseling they clearly need and stop making their BS everyone else's problem?

I said I would have self control. I said I wouldn’t listen to or react to anymore Wolf359 this whole weekend. But guess what dear readers? As usual, I lied, to you and myself. Sadly, I am weak. Now, with my confession out of the way, let’s get into it!

Episode 59: Crash and Burn

"Oh how fun. Come on kids, scream if you want to go faster." It's trippy that when I hear Pryce talk for a moment I'm like "Hera?" and then I realize. Also she and Cutter really do act like criticizing and mean disappointed parents.

"But just a small fire, and look it's out now!" good point Doug.

"This time you finally killed us" Congrats Doug!

"It's a fire on a spaceship, you shouldn't need explicit instruction to know it's a bad idea" "You don't know the first thing about commanding Douglas F. Eiffel" LET HIM KNOW DOUG!

"Cyborg De Vil" Eiffel really does have the best nicknames.

"I'm just a poor little old lady" Oh, I've met old ladies like you Pryce. Terribly entertaining, but awful all the same. Hated their own children too. At this point, I'm just waiting for your sad little backstory.

"Nobody says "thank you" anymore. Kids these days..." Pryce, maybe when you do something worthy of thanks, then you will be thanked.

"If it seems like I'm wrong, you don't have all the data" Well geez, I hope that pride doesn't kill you.

"Why are you asking us to read the values for you?" OH GET HER MINKOWSKI.

Okay, Pryce, in fairness to Doug, I think we've well established that most characters in this show are "metaphorically blind" in one way or another.

"Blinded by my own survival manual" it's fitting to be honest. The next edition? No, we don't need another edition Miranda.

"Well this should be easy!" Doug...Doug when is it ever easy?

Well gang, it looks like the gang's not getting out of this one this time. I will miss you all. Minkowski and Doug most of all. Kepler and Pryce less so.

Calling Pryce's husband is unfortunately the only plan. Let's see how he feels about wifey being in danger. This is either gonna go one of...potentially a few ways, and I'm very interested to see his reaction.

Will he leave her to die in space? Will he feel bad about that? Will he give up an advantage for her?

Wait. Is this Hera? Oh it's Marcus and Hera. I love the juxtaposition between Doug and Pryce and Marcus and Hera. I guess they both have a common interest. Nothing brings people together quite like it.

Oh gross Rachel's here too.

Skin alive whoever designed the flight's pod system? But this is so arbitrary...if all their enemies had been the ones to get blasted off, Cutter would give the man a promotion. For a guy who only promotes "the best" a lot of this is really just luck.

Wait. GUESTS???

Oh they got Lovelace and Jacobi. Oh dear. At least they can't kill or control Lovelace.

"I can't do much without her" I see. So she is the brain's behind Cutter's little happy murder business operation.

"Part of my signature look" Jacobi's sarcasm is growing on me the more he uses it against the right people.

"Pretty please with sugar on top" OH SO CUTTER DID HEAR JACOBI SAY THAT AND THREATEN TO SHOOT KEPLER. I think those were the exactly words he used too.

And speaking of that episode, we're back to singing about beer! 🍻Jacobi really is (formerly)evil Doug. 😂 They even sing the same song.

Is Pryce threatening to...EAT Doug? Well this is creepy.

Pryce, shut it. If you're so much of a grownup, stop acting like a pouty child.

Geez all Pryce knows how to do is complain. I guess Cutter is into that. For some weird reason. "Do I have to do everything around here." All you do is make trouble.

"You can't afford to take a chance on this" CALL HIM OUT JACOBI! I love his arc, I love his arc so much, it took way too long, but I'm so happy he's gotten here.

Oh dear. Is Jacobi in the right headspace for this? "Prettiest pumpkin princess at the ball?" Well good for Jacobi. Also very similar to the line Pryce gave to Hera. It's scary how much they sound and speak alike.

That is true. It might need to be a self-sacrifice mission. If Jacobi misses, Cutter kills him, and Eiffel and Minkowski don't survive. It's a tough situation, especially because we're not even sure how many lives are at stake here. But Jacobi, the whole point of self-sacrifice is that the people making the sacrifice agree to it, or there's literally no other way.

Yeah, Doug, Pryce is not gonna be reassuring. That's not in her generation's vocabulary.

Uh oh. Jacobi, I hope you know what you're doing.

Oh dear. Marcus seems testy.

And how much longer do we have with Rachel and Reimann? (Yes, I was corrected on the spelling).

"Just get it right this time Marcus" wow she is demanding.

Ah...there it is.

...Jacobi?

...DUCK BOY?

Well they got them. But what happens now?

Oh great Marcus' slow clapping. And let me guess, he kills him anyway?

Business to catch up on? Pryce doesn't sound too happy.

And yeah Minkowski, hold her at gunpoint! (Though in my experience, people like her don't fear death, rather they complain it's not coming fast enough), but whatever gives you the upper hand.

Episode 60: Terms and Conditions

What's with the beeping?

"You are alright?" Strange that Rachel asks that. I guess she'd be the one to notice he's quiet.

Ah. The sunset. Very fitting.

Westerns. Cutter probably saw some of them down at the old timey picture show when he was a wee lad.

Yes, yes, "the bigger picture". But what if there is a bigger picture to even your story, Cutter? One that you're not in control over?

Cutter knows what's about to happen. He knows it's time to choose. Work wifey or scary evil plan? What's it gonna be old man?

"Who is it?" 😂 I love Doug. I love him so much.

"We could have a cup of tea" oh gosh Cutter really is every old person stereotype.

"Reflect on the working conditions. Are you fostering a supportive company culture? One that values the contributions of its employees?" Doug is the best. Doug is the best.

"If you ever want to see your worst half ever again" 👏 Tell him. TELL HIM.

So now Cutter has to a choice. He can go Legend of Korra and kick Pryce to the curb, or he can drop his tragic backstory and try to come to an understanding.

"Can you guarantee the safe recover of Dr. Pryce?" "96%" Hm. Cutter doesn't seem happy with those numbers.

Special Projects? "Similar to you while still not you. You will see what you miss and say what you don't want to" interesting. So that's why Cutter keeps Rachel around.

"How possible would it be to complete the mission without Dr. Pryce?"

DANNGGGGGGG... Rachel asking the real questions.

"I don't know what your partnership with Dr. Pryce means" Interesting...so Cutter kept that even closer to his chest.

"Before I decide, I want the information" Cutter is unraveling.

See this is why you shouldn't talk when Cutter can hear them.

"Handle this personally?" Did he just crack his knuckles? Is he going to try to fight them? 😂

Neat idea? Is Cutter gonna make his own radio show?

Kepler and Lovelace are speaking for them? This is weird. And unnecessary unless some other mischief is a foot.

CUTTER IS MAKING HER DO THE "MM-HM" 😂😂😂

Kepler reading out Eiffel's words too 😂

Cutter's promises are stupid. And taking the collar off Hera doesn't mean that Pryce can't do something else terrible.

"Those are big promises" That's basic human decency.

"That's one thing. I'm giving you three. What else?"

Kepler and Pryce are two people. I love how it clearly shows Cutter views Kepler, who he's having Lovelace talk to, a disposable.

"You wouldn't lift a finger to help anyone if you didn't need them for something." CALL HIM OUT. CALL HIM OUT. 👏👏👏

"With all due respect to you Warren, that Dr. Pryce's return is worth two of your demands" wow, Cutter just went there didn't he?

"We won't annoy you" "I'm not sure you can promise that" "First off this is...this is your boy, Douggie Fresh at the mic" 😂 I knew it was Doug when he said the "won't annoy you" thing, but having him use Kepler like this is amazing. "Gumming up the works" I love Eiffel. I love his whole speech.

Is Cutter making her slow clap? Cutter and Eiffel really are a theatrical duo.

Rachel, idk how much longer you think Cutter is gonna keep you around, but he clearly only cares about his evil science arm candy, and that's not you or Reimann. He'll toss you both under the bus when he's done.

Cutter, wifey seems a bit unstable, and Pryce, your man seems to not be valuing you as an equal, and as much as I dislike you, I'm still not cool with that on principle. Perhaps the two of you ought to see to some marriage counseling, somewhere...oh I don't know...far far far far far away on the other side of the universe? Where you two can finally stop having to deal with those pesky youths you claim to hate so much?

Well at least the thing about Cutter naming the AI and putting on a charming appearance and Pryce hating it and acting so cold towards them makes so much sense now. Cutter wants to play house. House where he casts himself in the role of a toxic, stereotypical, controlling, abusive, and terrible father, with a flimsy "I care so deeply" facade and horrible taste in women, but house all the same. I guess it makes sense given when he was born. Pryce views the AI and their employees as things, Cutter views them as their children or rather their "creations" but at the end of the day, their views amount to the same thing: tools from which they demand unquestioning obedience that they can cast aside if and when they chose to do so. Absolutely disgusting.

Hey 👋, can I ask you how you feel about the recent episode of bnha? And specifically about the heroes?

It's pretty much exactly the same as in the manga, although for some reason danger sense wasn't in the anime, despite it being clearly shown on the page, that was weird, do you think?

It's meant to be so inspiring, the whole scene, but all it really says as a whole is that people should treat the heroes better and that the heroes will then 'bring everything back', both points being the exact opposite of what needs to happen in the setting/series, as if the heroes are the ones that need saving and didn't cause half the problems/threats they now face in the first place. There's zero accountability and awareness with their side, and they still want more, hawks is straight up delusional, saying that 'thinking about everybody' even though they're obviously not thinking about everybody.

The part when ochako is thinking about toga being the only thing that wasn't oblivious to the big picture. Do you feel similarly or differently?

Yup, same as ever for the heroes; we're waiting on any hero-driven societal progress and they're just worried about themselves and the status quo.

And yet you know, the funny thing is that the scene is probably the one piece of progress in the entire series that might (though that is a BIG might) prevent one type of villain from our League appearing in the inevitable next League made up of people Class 1A fails when they're pros.

See, one of the big things that led to Tenko becoming Tomura Shigaraki was everyone leaving everything to the heroes. And while this episodes' developments were more inspired by cutting the heroes some slack than reflecting on how impossible it is for the heroes to handle everything wrong in the world and how irresponsible it was for all parties to act like they could; the result is still this promise to reduce the citizens bystander attitude, that could see them helping the next Tenko...maybe. So the next League might (again, might) not have a Tomura.

It's just a shame that, like we said, this came about for the betterment of heroes rather than from any self-reflection on their villain-generating failures. This means atm we can't exactly expect any societal faults that benefit heroes, such as quirk profiling, letting heroes get away with murder or domestic abuse, Tartarus, or other forms of corruption in the industry, to get fixed or stop coming up.

Nor do we have reason to expect heroes to do anymore than they've been doing about issues that don't really affect them at all like hetemorphobia. Not to mention the issues in HeroAca taken from real life like the transphobia that inspired Magne or...just everything about Japan that led Twice to the streets and then the League. So already, if this is the final arc, I can already see Hero Society and the next gen heroes dealing more Togas, Dabis, Spinners, Twices, Compresses, Magnes, & Nagants. Very likely forming their own teams and re-destroying society within 20 years. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Hence why I keep hoping this arc in the manga isn't the final arc. The series clearly wants Deku & his class to inspired hope; so the fact they don't really leads me to believe they need more time in the character development oven.

So like I said, this thing with the citizens at UA is technically progress. But I wouldn't call it "inspiring" or "a step in the right direction," because that direction deadened after this one step. It's all business as usual otherwise unless things change in the heroes' mindset.

"Wow, hell of a guy—" Chapter 4: Bitch Season 5 Episode 4: Snitch *Trigger Warning*

Isabella walked towards the scene running her hands through her blonde hair her body was sore from sleeping on the hard floor last night she was too intoxicated to climb back into her bed so she fell asleep on the living room floor instead of the couch. Her head was pounding like crazy Isabella didn't have time to take an Advil this morning since she had been called in this morning.

"Park let's go, we are knocking on doors," Jay said walking up towards her and noticing how her hair wasn't its usual ponytail or straight it was messy and frizzy. She didn't look put together still wearing the same clothes from yesterday eyebags under her eyes.

"Okay, let's go," Isabella said following him as she rubbed the side of her head with both hands

"I didn't see anything or hear anything," He said staring at them with no emotion as he leaned back against his chair with a blue coffee cup in his hand.

"You live across the street, 20 feet from his house," Isabella said pointing from his house to the suspect's house with her notepad.

"I was watching TV, had the volume up. Anything else?" He said drinking his coffee from the blue cup.

"You knew Eddie, right? Yeah? Was he a good guy?" Jay said leaning his side against the stair railing.

"Great guy"

"Yeah?" Jay said turning to look at his partner, "Why not help us find the man who killed him?"

"Not my job"

"Oh, you're okay with him getting killed?" Jay said getting impatient with him.

"Didn't say I was okay with it. I just said it's not my job. There's a difference"

"Not really," Jay said before walking down the steps.

Isabella followed behind him as he let out a frustrated sigh.

"Relax Halstead," Isabella said following him down to the next house.

"Shut it, Park," he said turning away from her and walking to the next house. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Isabella walked up the stairs with a file in hand walking towards Kim's desk where everyone had gathered. They stared at her screen Isabella couldn't see much she tried to peek but couldn't Jay noticed and he stepped to the side to allow her to walk in front of him.

"so this spotter-cam video. It's not perfect, but here is the shot. Swivels. There's our guy" Kim said.

Adam leaned down closer to look at a computer screen, "yeah. Sure looks like Kurtis"

"Mm, about the same height, same weight" Kevin added.

"Yeah, but we can't see his face," Hank said.

"Not enough for a warrant"

"It's enough for you to grab Antonio and pay him a visit," Hank said looking over at Kim.

Kim got up from her seat and grabbed her sweater.

Adam took her spot and looked at the footage again, "So what happened– Kurtis shoots Eddie, and he goes running out the back? Yeah, but the bloody footprints that I saw–they go out the front door"

"There could be two shooters. One goes out the back the other one goes out the back" Isabella chimed in.

"Hey, you two— head over to that restaurant and figure out what happened will you?" Hank said looking at me and Al.

Isabella nodded her head and followed Alvin out as she brushed by Jay. She had made Jay drive her home so she could take a quick shower and change into new clothes. Hank had even noticed that she arrived at the scene wearing the same clothes he had told Jay to take her him if she asked to change which is why Isabella was confused he had agreed. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Isabella walked up the steps of the bar with Al right behind her she opened the door to the bar and made her way towards the bar counter showing her badge.

"How can I help you?" The owner said as he cleaned the counter.

"We wanna talk to you about one of your regular customers, Kurtis Washington," Isabella said leaning against the bar.

"Chicken, extra spicy, French fires, Arnold Palmer" he sarcastically said, "More lemonade than tea"

"We're more interested in his business dealings than his food choices" She responded with a smile on her face.

"You got a men's room?" Alvain cut in as he looked at the bar.

He pointed the way toward the men's room and Alvin walked away leaving her alone with the bar owner.

"What about Andre Walker?"

"Ham and cheese sandwich, extra Swiss"

"Back to food, huh?" Isabella said fake chucking.

"That's my business. Food"

"Mmm," she hummed out.

He leaned against the bar to level down to her height, "Might I say. You must be the prettiest damn police I've ever seen"

"Might be?" Isabella said with a small frown.

"Okay, you are" he laughed.

"That's better. So, Kurtis and Andre came in yesterday with Eddie Greene and another guy. White guy" she said chuckling.

"Don't know Eddie or the white guy"

"Anything unusual happens?"

"Didn't even notice they were here," he said shrugging his shoulders.

"You're good," Isabella said pointing at him with a smile.

"That's why I'm still standing, baby"

"Thank you," Alvin said standing behind Isabella after he had returned from the bathroom.

"Thank you, your insights and observations were invaluable," Isabella replied.

They exit the bar and walk back towards Al's car. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Isabella and Alvin walked towards Hank's Office where he stood next to his desk waiting for them the team watched as Isabella was typing fast on her phone they could hear how hard her fingers tapped on the screen but stopped once she entered Hank's office.

"Found a counter-surveillance device in the restaurant," Alvin said with a plastic bag in hand that held the device, "The kind you can buy for five bucks at some half asses spy store"

Isabella leaned against the door, "Must've read the transmission from Ruzek's wire, so Kurtis cut the meeting short" She said.

"They probably thought Eddie was snitching—working a case, so he popped him. Two in the chest" Hank said looking at us both.

"Hey," Jay said walking into the office, "Techs lifted two fresh prints—one off a beer bottle in Eddie's living room and the other off the front door knob. Both are a match to Roland Garrett. Male, black, 36. One felony charge. Aggravated assault with a firearm" Jay said reading off his notepad.

"Track him down now" Hank ordered as he closed the office door. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

The team arrived at the scene Isabella got out of Jay's black truck they followed Antonio and Kim into the shop. Antonio walked in first with Jay behind him with their guns out. Kim and Jay checked each aisle as Isabella and Antonio talked with the cashier of the shop.

"Roland Garett?" Antonio said pointing his gun at him

"Yea?" he asked with his hands up in the air.

"Chicago PD"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," he said staring at the head of the gun in fear.

"Keep your hands up," Antonio said.

"Man, what's going on?" He asked looking at us.

"We need to talk. Step down to me" Jay said with his gun pointed at him and using his other hand to put him up against the counter.

"About what?"

"Eddie Greene. Turn around"

"Someone killed him last night," Isabella said walking towards them.

"I know," he said.

"Oh, you know he's dead?" Isabella questioned putting her gun away.

"Yeah. He's my brother" he said with tears in his eyes as Jay searched him.

Her eyes widened and she turned to look at Antonio who was looking at him in shock. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Isabella typed away on her computer looking for more information on the case but she could feel eyes on her she looked up from the computer and saw Jay staring at her even as they made eye contact he didn't look away.

"Can I help you?" Isabella questioned as she bit her lip staring at the screen, "oh-"

"What?" He asked getting up from his seat and walking over to Isabella's desk.

"I found some video surveillance from the night of the murder is not perfect, but it shows a distant image of the man we believe to be Kurtis Washington, hopping into a BMW two blocks from Eddie's house," Isabella said looking away from the computer screen to face him.

"Let me get the rest of the team," he said before walking from my desk.

"You make out the plate?" Hank asked as he walked over to Isabella's desk.

"Already ran it, while Jay went to get you. It's registered to Maya Spriggs, girlfriend of Andre Walker, mother of his three children" Isabella said reading the criminal record off the screen

"Okay, so Andre was the gate away, driver, that makes sense. They're partners" Adam said.

"All right, get that car. Maybe we can find some blood" Hank said. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Isabella followed Adam towards the small house of Maya he quickly rushed up the four steps before knocking on the door holding the warrant in his hand. Once the door opened Adam slammed the warrant onto the gate door.

"There's a warrant for the car," Adam said.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Baby that's my car" Maya said standing behind Andre.

"I got this, baby," he said, looking at Maya as they fought.

"Wait, why does he need to?" She asked glaring at her boyfriend and then looking at Adam and Isabella.

"Oh, so she doesn't know that her car was used as a getaway vehicle for a murder?" Isabella said sending him a smirk.

"Murder? Baby what are these police officers talking about?!" She screamed at him eyes full of anger.

"Nothing, go back to the kids," he shouts, turning to look at the duo.

She glared at him before walking away from the door.

"Sup Billy, long time no see," he said staring Adam up and down, "what you doing over here, huh?" opening the gate door. "Thought you lived in the west loop. Word is, there's a huge, untapped market for blow up there?"

Adam let out a sign, "Just so you know, Eddie— he had no idea I was a cop. No idea" he said shaking his head

"You know, I liked Eddie. Kurtis did too. We feel really bad you got his ass popped" he said brushing up between us as he walked down the steps.

He stopped at the second to last step and turned to face him as he walked.

"You better watch yourself, Andre," Adam said pointing at him.

"Sounds like a confession to me," Isabella said her arms against her chest.

Andre turned to look at Isabella, "I ain't killed nobody. And I don't know anybody who killed anybody. But word gets out around here. And snitches like Eddie get dealt with real fast"

"Well let's go," Isabella said walking down the steps.

Andre walked back up the steps as Adam walked down, "Listen to your girlfriend, Billy"

"We'll see you soon," Adam said glaring at him pushing past Isabella and heading toward her car.

The team got out of the vehicles and headed straight into Maya's beauty salon with their guns out as they screamed and knocked things over not caring that they were being reckless and scaring the women in the salon.

"Chicago PD!" Adam said walking into the Beauty salon.

"Everyone show us your hands now," Kim said following Adam.

"We have a warrant," Isabella said showing her the warrant with a smirk on her face.

"What the hell is going on?"

"Maya, right? Turn around for me" Kevin said holding handcuffs in his hands, "Just wanna see what kind of beauty products you're pushing out of this joint"

Adam started knocking things down onto the ground not caring that everything was breaking and Isabella joined in as well.

After searching through the whole beauty salon and leaving the mess behind, they walked outside where Andre stood outside watching as Kevin and Kim drove away Maya in handcuffs.

"Andre. It's not our fault your lady runs a salon without a license" Adam said walking towards the curb.

"And sells blow in her spare time," Isabella chimes in, standing next to Adam.

"What'd you find, huh? What, a couple of grams? Eightball or something? She doesn't move no product" he yelled.

"The problem is, she's got two priors. With this new charge, she's going away" Adam said walking closer to Andre, "She's a three-time loser" he held up three fingers to his face.

"Mother of your children," Isabella said shaking her head.

"Unless, of course, you got something to tell us. Something that might inspire us to drop the case?" Adam said.

Andre gulped as Adam was all up in his personal space, "Nope. Not a damn thing" he said, "You know, I'm getting sick and tired of her ass anyway. Truth is, you're doing me a favor"

Isabella laughed at him, "Wow, hell of a guy—"

"Shut up, bitch, I wasn't talking to—" he yelled at Isabella but was cut off by Adam pushing him against the wall and punching him in the face.

"You got a smart mouth, you know that!" Adam yelled, "Stand up! Say that again, right now!"

"Adam!" Isabella shouted at him and pushed him away from Andre onto the street.

"I'll take the badge off. You and I could do this right now, man! Come on, Isabella,"

Isabella pushed him up against her white Jeep Grand Cherokee that was parked right next to them, "What the hell is wrong with you?" He yelled at her as he stood up from the car.

She pushed him back again "What the hell is wrong with you!" She screamed at him, "People are watching you! What you did was out of line" Backing away from him, "Get in the car" ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Isabella stood in front of her locker putting on a new shirt since she had spilled some coffee onto her white shirt luckily she had an extra one in her locker along with more clothes shoes, and makeup.

"Hey!" Adam said standing in front of her with a serious look on his face.

"Yeah?" she mumbled fixing her hair.

"So, listen that thing from yesterday—it's become a little bit of a situation"

"Really?" Isabella grumbled looking away from the mirror to look at him.

"Somebody saw what happened, they filed a report. Now I got a CR to deal with" he said, "I just wanna make sure you and I are on the same page"

Isabella nodded her head, "Same page" closing her locker.

"I know you know what I mean"

"Yes, I do. Now if you excuse me I have to do some paperwork" she says waking out of the locker room and bumping into Jay.

"Sorry," they said at the same time.

"Don't worry about it?" Isabella said turning to look back at Adam who looked at stared.

"Everything good?" Jay asked as Isabella turned back to look at him.

"Mmm," she hummed.

"We caught a break. Found some surveillance footage from a camera about a block away from the mini-mart" Jay said. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Everyone gathered around Kim's desk as they watched the video surveillance camera that they had gathered near the mini-mart along with more footage.

"That's Kurtis no doubt," Jay said standing behind Kim with his arms crossed against his chest.

"That's cause you know it's him," Hank said, "If you're in a jury, that's a skinny man, black, wearing a hoodie"

"All right, let me play with it," Adam said taking a seat in Jay's emptying seat, "see if I can get a better angle"

Adam zoomed into the surveillance footage, "Well there's the gun" Kim said pointing at the gun that was thrown onto the ground.

"All right, play it again, regular size," Hank said.

Adam zoomed out and pressed play, "All right, hold it. Stop. See that? There is someone else there" Hank said pointing at the screen.

"Yeah, probably Andre being a lookout" Kevin piped in.

"Let me mess with it, hold on" Adam mumbled loud enough for all of us to understand, "Yeah, all I can make out is his sneaker" ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Pulling up to the house, Kim Jay, and Isabella got out of my Jeep with our guns out and Jay holding a battering ram. The team walked up to the front of the house while Adam, Kevin, and Antonio took the back

Jay kicked the door open with the ram and Isabella walked into the house clearing both sides as she walked towards an entryway she peeked in a little before shots were fired at her she reacted quickly and docked behind the wall.

He ran out of the house where he continued to fire shots at Adam and Kevin.

"Park, you good?" Jay asked Isabella checking on her as Kim and Antonio moved forward.

"Yeah," she replied said.

"Clear!"

Kim and Antonio yelled out as they cleared the rest of the house.

Isabella and Antonio ran towards what Hank had said over the radio. Seeing Andre on the ground and Kevin lowering his weapon, Andre sat on the ground looking at both Hank and Kevin.

Isabella walked towards him and grabbed him by the hand "Get up," She said, "You're under arrest for the murder of Roland Garrett" and handcuffed him bushing passed Kevin and Hank.

Antonio followed behind her walking back towards the car that was parked behind Hank's car. ༘⋆🌷🫧💭₊˚ෆ

Back at the district, the team had planned to meet up for some drinks after work the others had already left leaving Kim and Isabella the only ones in the the locker room as they packed their things.

"Hey, Isabella would you like to join us at Molly's?" Kim said closing her locker.

Isabella closed her locker picking up her bag, "Uhh, I already made plans with some friends actually" Isabella said following her out of the locker room.

"Oh bummer," she said with a frown on her face, "have fun," she said sending me a wink.

"Have a drink for me" Isabella said smiling at her.

"So how was the flight?" Isabella asked Eleanor as brought a spoonful of rice to her mouth

"It was tiring, it felt like the plane ride was five years, but I'm glad to be home again," Eleanor said throwing her hands up into the air.

Isabella let out a laugh, "Ya! People are looking at us like we are crazy" shaking her head.

"Crazy women," Stephanie said hitting the back of her head.

"Any guy in your life?" Eleanor asked as Isabella brought the beer bottle to her lips.

"No, just sleeping around, I have needs that need to be taken care of sometimes I can't do it on my own," Isabella said drinking a shot of soju.

"Will you ever give me a chance?" Luke asked tilting his head with a smile

"Oppa, you are such a close friend of mine. I don't see you as a boyfriend" I said shaking my head.

"Damn friend zoned" Eleanor laughed at his attempt to make another move on Isabella again.

"Again," Stephanie said clapping her hands together.

"Fuck you guys," he said pouting.

The girls just giggled at him Luke just glaring at them.

"Luke, the redhead at the bar has been giving you fuck me eyes," Isabella said pointing with her head causing Luke to turn around "Go for it"

"But I'm here with you guys tonight--I can't leave you," Luke said biting his lip.

"Just go for it, we don't mind," Stephanie said

"Are you guys sure?"

"Go for it!"

"Next dinner is on me," Luke said and sprit out of his chair.

"What's a nice expensive restaurant?" Isabella said with a smirk on her face.

thank Mr. Ryan Guzman for looking at his character's scene notes, apparently rolling his eyes, and deciding to take matters into his own hands. Look, I'm not trying to say the rest of the 118 doesn't look devastated, but Eddie looks like he's about to start bawling on the floor and that's the real reason he grabbed Chim. I'll come back to this but his moments sure don't hit like pure platonic concern, there is some real desperation there. Also not to bring up KR rambling but lady if you were so surprised by Ryan's performance and didn't want it to come across like THAT, aren't you in charge? Couldn't you make the call and say "I need you to give me less"?? Anyway, the parallels between this and Eddie's shooting are ridiculous, so I also gave to think if this isn't going somewhere what the fuck is the point?? Why go through all this trouble to make it so obvious and heartfelt and hurt so much if it just goes back to business as usual?? That more than anything would piss me off. Yes, let Buck learn a thing or two about his own worth (we've only been waiting SEASONS for it), but also can we stop pretending putting these two specific characters in these life and death scenarios where they have to watch the other dying and their whole world looks like it's coming apart doesn't mean anything?? Finally (for now) here's what I'd like to see next episode. We know Buck is going to see the people he loves but not in the way he knows he knows them. So I'd love to be what prompts him to wake is seeing Chris. But not just any version of him. This Chris is an orphan, his mom died and there wasn't anyone to save his Dad from getting shot. He lives with his grandparents (pre Ramon reckoning), he had to go to them since there was no other parent in Eddie's life to take care of him. So this bright, brave kid is now sad and scared of the world, and Buck knows its wrong. I'll leave you with this mess of thoughts 😭.

We had people over this evening so I'm trying to get this done before I get to bed because I really do need to clear out my inbox (RIP to everyone who came to be salty with me and KR's interviews because we immediately got sneak peeks and poker stills and DO MORE, and my brain went offline).

Seriously, I don't know who started slipping the promo team cocaine but damn. Let us REST for a second! Between them and the fandom coming out in FORCE to wreck us or be horny on main, it's A Lot and I need sleep!

Ryan is out here giving us The Most and KR acting *shocked pikachu* about it just shows how much she sleeps on Ryan as an actor and Eddie as a character.I rewatched 6x10 and like, I know he's got a lot next episode but for a premier maybe we could have checked in with him and Chris since we checked in with literally everyone else at their homes? I'm trying not to be too negative because after s5 and 6a, this is THEE most excited I've been in awhile and I really do think the show is at least trying to course correct after....whatever TF 6a was and the weirdness of s5.

And the stuff with Eddie, it's like, you're right they COULD tell him to do less! They could say "this is what we're looking for" or at least "this is what we're NOT looking for" but clearly his actions were signed off on and made it to air knowing full well what people would see when they watched it. And what you see is a man desperately broken by the possibility of losing his partner. Which is GREAT if the show is working on a s7 Buddie reveal plan (I'm with @outrunningthedark I don't think they want to overshadow the Madney moment coming up which is fine), but it's....disappointing when there is so much good stuff going on right now and all KR wants to talk about is how much fun they had forcing Eddie "they're not really my type" Diaz to casually date randos because that's something he's ever been interested in doing. He really seems like a guy that enjoys wasting his limited free time meeting lots of new people only interested in getting into his pants instead of taking care of his partner who literally died for several minutes, and doing things with his son. Sure Jan. FFS, read the room! Or read the character profile before you start throwing storylines at the wall to see what sticks (lookin' at you sperm donor plot that is apparently giving Nothing). Yeah, yeah, managing expectations with a showrunner like her is good, but it's also a lot of whiplash right now between what we're seeing on our screens and what she's trying to TELL us we're seeing on our screens. I'm just so sick of them giving what should be THEE moment for Buddie only to follow it up by shoving some woman between them like "oh, nothing to see here!" Give me a break. And then what are they going to do for the actual reveal? How are they going to raise the stakes AGAIN? How are they going to be like, "yeah this is the 5th time one of us has almost died, but THIS time it's allowed to be an "Oh" moment for us because TPTB finally signed off on it!" 🙄🙄🙄 On the bright side, the Buddie of it all has kept the show trending off an on for almost two weeks and will certainly continue through next week so at least whoever is paying attention to that stuff and saw how dead everything was after the finale has some comparison to work with!

ANYWAY

Sad an lonely Chris would be HEARTBREAKING and my heart couldn't take it! 😭😭😭 That boy deserves ONLY good things! I will say I am a little...not mad but I am certainly side-eyeing this coma storyline seeming to be about how Buck's work as a firefighter is what changed everyone's lives because like, YES him being at the 118 changed everything for everyone, but also this is the guy who panic-sued the department to get back to work because he felt worthless if he wasn't doing his job. Which we then found out stemmed from childhood trauma and neglect, but right now, for where he's at, he's not questioning his choice of job so he doesn't need a push like Eddie to come back to where he belongs. And he's already wrapped up in a storyline that SHOULD be about him giving up parts and pieces of himself to make other's happy at cost to his own happiness (though right now we don't know WHAT it's suppose to be about since he's not going to struggle with walking away per Oliver and he's not learning anything so what's the point?). So how is better for him to be facing a life where Daniel lived and he's loved and happy (which is what they've been making it sound like) but everyone at the 118 is a mess without him, proving that it's better for everyone ELSE if he sacrifices everything and doesn't get the happy life he always dreamed of? Like I'm not trying to be negative and I'm still REALLY excited about the episode (as you can see from my unhinged posting this week) and I just KNOW everyone's performances are going to slay us, and this storyline might go differently than I'm expecting and be something really great! But I'm just...getting my side-eyes out because if KR has proved anything it's that she can't plan a fucking arc for shit, and she lacks a basic understanding of the trauma and driving forces behind the characters.

Final note because I didn't want to end on that one, I think everyone in the firefam deserves an Emmy for what they're going to give us and I am READY for their reactions to rip my heart out and stomp on it. It is TIME Buck wakes up with his REAL family around his bed and knows how very much he is loved for just being Buck and how hard they fought to bring him back to them, because he's their family and they CHOOSE him. Buck is always the one being left, but he's going to wake up and hear how everyone he loves begged him to stay with them. It's going to be *delicious*

s1e9 Trailer

So, in my ongoing quest to get better at guessing things and also for fun, the e9 trailer!

As per usual, this WILL CONTAIN BOOK SPOILERS. At the end of e8, Viserys died (I got that right! Even the bit about seeing Aemma, although not in the way I thought.). The next episode is called "The Green Council". In the book, when Viserys is discovered dead, Alicent hides it and gathers the small council. During this council they decide to crown Aegon the Elder, creating him Aegon II Targaryen. And, yes, he's just as much of a piece of shit in the books.

We start with a dark, empty, cold throne room. A huge contrast to how it was warm and lit up for the welcome feast for Rhaenyra's wedding - although likely still as violent. However, this scene is lit in a way that feels cold and empty. Just as when Aemma died, so too does Viserys's death bleed life out of the Red Keep.

Next, we have the three usurping assholes. As I mentioned, when Viserys dies, the Greens keep this information to themselves. They don't even allow the Silent Sisters to tend to the body (this is probably the purpose of showing them this week - so we can see the immediacy and purpose of their work.) and it begins to rot...well, you know, more than when he was alive. :P Instead, they call together the small council, and that's what we're seeing here. They've been dragged out of bed and into the room, and the balls are on the plates, and so it's in session, and the small council is being informed of the King's death.

Look at Alicent. She looks horrible. She looks so unhappy to be there whilst Otto and Crispin look unbothered. Her grief here appears to be genuine. It appears that she's feeling the weight of everything...her husband's death, what she thinks is going to happen, the decision she has to make...all of it.

Next shot is a Kingsgard cleaning his sword. I'm assuming it's Criston, but it's meant to symbolize the upcoming war in the trailer. I think what it actually shows is swords being cleaned before another shot we see later on that is from Aegon's coronation.

Alicent saying "he told me he wanted Aegon to be king" to someone, presumably her dad. She's crying here, so it's likely this is right after Viserys is found. I'm not sure how seriously I think she's going to take Viserys's last words, but it looks like it's her turn to make some really bad decisions. Whether she does that because of his last words, her father's influence, her own ambition, or a combination of those is more what I think we'll find out.

These next two shots are likely of the same scene, and I've circled what was pretty much the only hint as to what they're looking at. It's a Kingsgard. This is clearly after the scenes in the actual green council, because those happen at night and this is a daytime scene. My guess here for these two is that it's Aegon's coronation, although it seems like the crowd here is moving quickly and is either upset or scared about something. Maybe they're excited. I think possibly upset though because in the book it says that the dragon pit was chosen as the coronation site d/t the strong, defensible doors. Maybe the city riots when Aegon usurps Rhaenyra.

Next we have another pair of scenes, and this shows some people kneeling and bowing to Otto and others standing. I am assuming this is part of the event where Otto rounds up all the Black supporters and either jails them or beheads them. So those who remain standing are unwilling to swear to Otto and Aegon. Lord Caswell will be among them. I'm sure someone better at identifying actors can do better than I can with telling who these characters are. Like I know I've seen that guy on the bottom, but I can't remember who he is.

Now we go back to that meeting of the Green Council right after Viserys's death, and we have Otto saying "This door remains shut until we finish our business". We'll come back to this in a second, because there's more shots from this scene.

This is a shot of Aegon - crown on his head - in the foreground, Aemond in the background, and Crispin's arm to the right. The voiceover are the last two words of the previous sentence, implying that "our business" is crowning Aegon. A side note, that I'll get into at the end - Aegon isn't crowned with Viserys's crown, he's crowned using Aegon the Conqueror's crown, as it hadn't yet been lost in Dorne at this point. The reason I know that's Crispin's arm is that it's Crispin that physically crowns Aegon at the coronation, which is another reason why book readers can't stand the guy.

Now, this is where the trailer starts to get interesting. This is Otto saying "no one can known who you are or what you seek", to a man whose identity I don't know (But my best guess is Arryk Cargyll.). However, given his previous shady dealings with Mysaria, I think that that storyline is going to bear fruit. What is he seeking, you might ask? I think it's one of Aegon's bastards (he's known to have had several.). More on that later when we get some images of a tow-headed child. It also could be when Otto tells the Kingsguard to summon the Small Council. Seems like "seek" is odd phrasing for the small council tho.

This is the next scene, presumably the same man leaving Otto's chambers. I'd thought maybe it was Crispin, but he doesn't have a moustache. Arryk does, though. So if that is a member of the Kingsguard, it's probably him. For clarity: Arryk and Erryk Cargyll are twins on the Kingsguard. Arryk stays with the Greens, and Erryk goes to the Blacks.

As I was writing this blurb for the next one I think I figured out what was going on. I'm think this is Rhaenys (I know it could be Rhaenyra, but she has Rhaenys's fairly distinctive hairstyle.) trying to get into Viserys's room to say goodbye to her cousin the morning after her vigil over Vaemond's body. When she can't get in, she is immediately sus. There's always been some confusion over how Viserys's crown is smuggled out, and so I think maybe Rhaenys finds the door locked, asked someone why it's locked, and figures out about the green council. She then finds someone - I think Harrold Westerling - and they leave KL.

The next two images are from different parts of the trailer but they should be taken together. The first is Talya accompanying some scared looking royal nurses (IE, the kind we're constantly seeing around the kids.) and an equally scared looking tow-headed child to the black cells. The second is said child in the black cells. Now, initially I was confused by this. I *thought* he might be one of Aegon's bastards, but I was kinda confused as to what he was doing this early on, and this kid is too old to be Gaemon IMO. However, since I'm a little late on this week, I saw on Twitter that he is Gaemon Palehair. He's a minor character towards the end during the Targaryen pretenders before the Hour of the Wolf that is put forward by whores in Flea Bottom. He ends up being spared on account of being very young (like...6?), and becomes food taster for Aegon III (Rhaenyra's Aegon.). He...really has no purpose in the larger war, and dies later on when someone tries to poison Aegon III. So I still think it's weird that he's being rounded up and put in the black cells or even present this early on, but I'm less confused as to his identity now.

In any event, I think Otto sends Arryk out to get him, and finds him via the connection to Mysaria. IDK why Otto wants him or cares, but I guess we'll find out. Maybe a stand-in for Jaehaerys during Blood and Cheese?

This is a well-dressed woman in one of the black cells, with a guard walking past her door, and what looks like fire outside? Could just be the light. Anyway, due to the cutout in the dress on her arm and the hair over the shoulder, I think it's Talya. Probably in the cell with Gaemon. So it's fairly likely that Aegon finds out that she's been spying for Mysaria, or possibly that Mysaria gives her up because Mysaria has been loyal to Daemon all along. In any event, it seems like she is locked in the black cells when Otto cleans house of the Black loyalists.

Alicent rubbing her temples and saying "what of Rhaenyra?" during the green council, so it seems she might not be as set on her course as is otherwise implied. Or she at least has enough remaining care that maybe she doesn't think they should be hiding Viserys's death from her. Maybe she just wants to know how they'll handle her, idk.

Next we have a Kingsguard with a satchel over his shoulder and a smaller, slighter figure next to him. The guard has long, brown hair, so it's probably Erryk Cargyll with Viserys's crown, escorting Rhaenys to safety. She's grabbing his hand, probably telling him to run, so honestly either a riot breaks out in KL or they're rushing to the dragon pit for the coronation and these two are trying to disappear in the crowd. I'm not exactly sure, but there's a lot of shots from this scene in the trailer, including those ones I posted above of the KG on a horse and the rushing crowd. I'm leaning more and more towards riot.

This next one I genuinely have no idea and so I'm submitting it to you guys for guesses. It's small figure being blown backwards into a hole of some kind by fire and explosions, so I think dragonfire. I lightened it as much as I could without it becoming nothing but artefacts. I'll be honest, my brain immediately read the objects in the foreground as dragon eggs and this as the pit, but I don't think that's right. It doesn't match up at all. So what do you guys think? The cloak isn't helpful bc there's a few people wearing murder cloaks in this episode.

Larys saying to Alicent "I've found out something you should know". At the last two words, it switches to the shot of the child I posted above. Now, there were rumors in the books that some of the bastards, like Trystayne Truefyre, were by-blows of Viserys, even tho it's way more likely that they either weren't Targ bastards, or they were Aegon's and Daemon's. But maybe Larys is the source of those rumors, and he's deceiving Alicent here and telling her the kid in the cells is Viserys's. He might have nothing to do with the kid, but the cut implies that he does. Plus...he's the shady one, so, makes sense.

Ok, again, this one is a bit confusing to me. I am adding it in case you guys have suggestions. If this were any other show, I'd think this was two kids in a paid fight (followed by people are either winning or losing bets.). It's obviously someone small hitting the other person and making that blood, but I honestly have no idea. Maybe an atmospheric shot for something more important happening at this establishment? Someplace belonging to Mysaria? That person getting punched looks like they have targ hair, but who knows...

Aemond in a murder cloak he borrowed from his hero Daemon. IDK what he's doing here, but I have a feeling it's during the chaos seen earlier in the trailer. He might be out looking for the missing crown and the missing Kingsguard. And in shot 2, it seems that the person whose back is to us is, indeed, the missing Kingsguard. I don't think he's going to die here, because he shows up on Dragonstone with the crown later on in the trailer.

Crispykins threatening Harrold Westerling with the murdered Beesbury (who was Team Black and then murdered during the Green council for it.) slumped over behind him. Some people theorize that this is when Harrold dies, but I don't think so. He seems to be in that picture of the Black Council, so it's unlikely he does. I'm pretty sure he's in the background of Viserys's crown being presented to Rhaenyra in this shot from the weeks ahead trailer:

Turns out the only reason Crispy wasn't willing to be Alicent's thug last episode was the fact that Viserys was standing right there. This is gonna be the episode where show watchers find out why book readers hate this guy so much.

Beesbury, who is telling Alicent it's treason to put Aegon on the throne - which it is - and then being murdered for telling the truth. Pour one out for the only person in that room with ethics.

This is Aegon's coronation, hopefully in the dragonpit with Sunfyre nearby bc I want to see Sunfyre. Such a shame that one of the biggest shits in this story has one of the coolest dragons.

This one is another confusing one. Erryk and Arryk together, so this is before Erryk goes to the Blacks, and out of uniform. I think it might be wherever that fight takes place? So maybe I'm right, and that is a fighting ring added for atmosphere for whatever's taking place with the twins. I'm thinking maybe the sequence of events is Otto assigning them the task of retrieving this bastard right after the Green council but before informing anyone of the treason, they go to this fighting ring to get him, and then he's returned to the castle and put in the cells, then Erryk leaves. Although I have a feeling that their confrontation with Aemond happens on their way out of this place, and maybe instead of it just being Erryk in that scene, it's also Arryk, and it ends up being 2 v 1 and that's how they win.

This next one is one of the twins chasing down someone who is probably a really rough-looking Aegon inside the sept (the ring of candles that Rhaenyra and Alicent prayed around is in the next shot.). In the books he says he doesn't want to be king, and can only be convinced when Alicent tells him that Rhaenyra will kill him and his siblings (almost certainly untrue; Rhae lets *Alicent* live.), so this is probably him trying to outrun his responsibilities. Actually...now that I'm thinking about it, maybe Otto *wasn't* sending the twins out to get the bastard, maybe they're being sent to find *Aegon*, who is drunk in whatever tavern or hidey-hole that fight is happening in. I wonder if he makes more of a protest than I'd been thinking he would about taking the crown.

The conqueror's crown!!! It's missing the rubies tho. =(

So that's this week's trailer. TBH it's a lot of shots from a few scenes, so I get the feeling that tons happens in this ep. ^_^ Should be fun!

We're finally back on schedule! Episode 7 is now out!

I did a poll for when I should release this and it ended in a draw. Go figure. So I'm going to post this now and then post another next week. Seems like we'll be back to normal for the time being.

Fun fact: This episode was actually the first I ever did. It began this whole escapade, so thank Witch and Black Kikimora for that.

Oh, and congrats to Witch for getting 2nd place in a Puyo Quest popularity poll. There's that too. She's a lunatic in this game, chasing Schezo for...his clothes. Trust me it makes sense...later.

And he's officially going to do the rider vs rider battle muhuhaha! It was bound to happen.

This was basically a 'lets appreciate Ace' episode 😂. Looks like the fated Keiwa Vs Ace next episode. But I wonder how Giroli will get Keiwa to do that, as it's not in his character. There are many possibilities, but I wonder if Keiwa will also be acting, I mean, be in another plan orchestrated by Ace, all to get rid of Giroli in the end....

Or will Ace 'die' next episode, and come back again with Keiwa's wish. With some twists.

And if anyone's confused about who's side I'm on here, then yes. I'm supporting everyone and no-one, I'm rooting for an interesting story.
