Why do you think he did this ITV interview now? I know they cluster their press and the IG announcement was also this week and the ESPY thing recently so maybe it was all preplanned, but this seems at cross purposes. I don't get it. Was he simply so desperate to get back in the news and he knows the only real way is to drag his fam and bring up dead momma again?
His phone hacking lawsuit is failing. This is a desperate attempt to save it. Harry wants the public to see how badly he has it because the phone hacking ruined everything so they get loud and vocal about it and force NGN to give into all of Harry’s demands before the judge rules.
The writing on the wall is that the court probably isn’t going to find everything in Harry’s favor. He’s going to be liable for some pretty big bills that he doesn’t want to pay and he’s not going to get the settlement of his centimillionaire dreams.

If Harry had an ounce of common sense, he would realize that whining in a media interview about how the media wrecked his relationship with his dad, brother, sister-in-law, grandparents, et al-- is not a good idea during a time when a judge is accusing Harry of destroying evidence in a media court case. The judge and lawyers for The Sun are going to have a field day with this latest round of crap coming from Harry. It's wildly entertaining and bizarre at the same time watching this unfold on TV.
Hi Nonny,
Harry truly is his own worst enemy. @brf-rumourtrackinganon had a good comment about this that I will link to below, the basis of which is that this is a desperate attempt to get the public on his side to use public opinion to force something out of NGN before the judge rules against him in his lawsuit.
Whatever his motivations, Harry is going the wrong way about gaining support. Whining is not going to get him public support, and it may support the idea that he did destroy evidence in his court case (depending on what he says and how it can be interpreted).

As Nigeria braces for the #EndBadGovernance protests scheduled for August 1, a significant number of senators, members of the House of Representatives, and some Federal Executive Council (FEC) members are reportedly leaving the country. These departures are being justified as medical checkups and summer holidays, but sources indicate they are preemptive measures in response to the anticipated protests. The National Assembly chambers were unexpectedly closed last Tuesday, providing lawmakers time to secure visas and travel arrangements before the protests. This move reflects heightened concerns over safety and security amid the expected civil unrest. Read Also: Dollar to Naira Exchange Rate at Black Market (Aboki FX) July 29, 2024: USD to NGN CBN Rate Several lawmakers, speaking anonymously to Daily Sun, expressed fears of becoming targets should the nationwide protests materialize. They pointed to the violent incidents during the 2020 #EndSARS protests, which saw many of them attacked and their properties vandalized. A senator, who preferred to remain unnamed, highlighted the particular vulnerability of lawmakers compared to ministers, governors, and presidential aides who enjoy extensive security protection. "Lawmakers are more accessible to the public, making them potential targets during major uprisings," he explained. Read Also: Kenneth Okonkwo Dumps Labour Party, Parts Ways with Peter Obi He continued, “We were supposed to adjourn for our annual break next week. But we had a meeting where many lawmakers complained to the leadership of the National Assembly about the imminent threats to their lives if the protests were eventually held. We begged them to bring back the adjournment date. They listened to us. “Lawmakers who cannot afford the needed security are leaving until the madness calms down. Some of us are not going to Europe or America. Some of our colleagues are even in Ghana and South Africa. You know for holders of diplomatic passports, it is often visa on arrival. Read Also : Kenneth Okonkwo Dumps Labour Party, Parts Ways with Peter Obi “As I’m talking to you, I’ve secured my ticket, and I’m leaving Abuja this weekend. President Bola Tinubu is protected. All his ministers have enough security. Governors enjoy the same. I don’t have anyone to protect me if the protesters should attack. It is safer to leave until things calm down.” A travel agent at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja confirmed a surge in emergency ticket bookings for National Assembly members heading to Europe, the Middle East, and other African countries. This demand has significantly increased the cost of international flights, almost doubling the usual price. The travel agent shared, “Summer tickets have gone up because of the sudden demand for them by the government’s officials. Many senators and their colleagues in the House of Representatives are the ones asking for the tickets. Some ministers are also getting tickets, claiming that they’re going for medical checkups, but I doubt it. Also Read : Three PDP Lawmakers, Scores of Supporters Defect to APC “I booked a flight for one senator on Saturday to the United States of America for almost $3,000 for a return ticket. South Africa and the United Kingdom are the most sought-after tickets by lawmakers. Others are asking for tickets to Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Even Ghana is also on the list. “But one of them jokingly told me that he was leaving Nigeria to save his head. He said he’s not sure how the protests will turn out. I could see the fear in his eyes. I got a ticket to Turkey for him.” As the protests draw near, the exodus of lawmakers and politicians underscores the mounting tension and fear of potential violence, echoing the unrest seen during the #EndSARS movement.

Mr. President 💕
(three guesses as to who he’s looking at)
This week has been pretty crazy, but I wanted to throw in my contribution to No Good Nick Week, however late it is (and rushed). From the beginning of the series, I had a bit of an attachment to Jeremy, even though he frustrated me for a long time in the first season—mostly because I saw a lot of myself in him. Like him, I’m a huge perfectionist and I set a lot of goals for myself, and he’s a big nerd, which I definitely relate to. Come season 2, my love for him grew tenfold; I really think his arc was incredibly done and his growth has just been amazing. When he was revealed to be gay, it was such an important moment for me, because that was just one more thing I could share with him. I love Jeremy, and I really hope we can see more of him in a third season!

No Good Nick Week Day 5: Favorite Quote
“Let’s go find our girl.”
Despite his heartbreak at being betrayed, Ed is willing to forgive, knowing that they all made mistakes. He is still willing to welcome Nick into the family. “OUR girl,” he says. “Let’s go find OUR girl.”

Second favorite:
“We came to take you home.”

Prompt: Favorite Character
Jeremy Thompson!
Not long into the series, I had this feeling about Jeremy. I knew this Annoying Prep Boy was MY annoying prep boy. Fast forward to the poker night episode, and not only was he still my favorite character, but a character that means so much because he’s someone that I would’ve been able to look up to and say “hey, it’s ok, you have nothing to be ashamed of! He’s just like you!” And I know he can be that for today’s generation of kiddos trying to figure themselves out.
So here’s a very rushed, very mediocre, drawn-by-finger iPhone sketchbook app tribute to my favorite prep boy!

Docket Update: GB News: Prince Harry's lawyers seek to drag Rupert Murdoch into court case with new amendment by u/Von_und_zu_
Docket Update: GB News: Prince Harry's lawyers seek to drag Rupert Murdoch into court case with new amendment Harold was in court again. This time it is for this hacking case: Prince Harry and more than 40 others are suing News Group Newspapers (NGN) over accusations of unlawful invasions of privacy from the mid-1990s until 2016 by The Sun and the News of the World.Today was the start of a 3 day hearing before Judge Fancourt on an attempt by Harold and other claimants to amend their lawsuit against Murdoch's British papers to include the magnate personally in allegations of a cover-up of wrongdoing. Among the amendments they are seeking to include are references to Murdoch, 93, about senior figures' knowledge and concealment of unlawful activities, and evidence relating to Rebekah Brooks, the chief executive of News UK, News Corp's British newspaper arm. **Anthony Hudson, NGN's lawyer, told the court: "It has become increasingly clear that at least some members of the claimant group appear to be using this document as a vehicle for wider campaigning interests against the tabloid press."Hudson suggested that the proposed amendments were designed by some of the claimants, including actor Hugh Grant, to turn the litigation into "some type of substitute for a public inquiry".Pencil into your calenders: The case is due to go to trial in January, and could last 8 weeks. https://ift.tt/52LvkH9 post link: https://ift.tt/qSDgJKL author: Von_und_zu_ submitted: March 20, 2024 at 06:57PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog. No Good Nick: Day 3, Favorite Relationship
I really love Nick and Jeremy’s sibling relationship! At the beginning, Jeremy is deeply (and rightfully) suspicious of her and this carries on to the end of part 1. But very quickly in part 2, he starts to trust her so much more and when the betrayal does happen, it’s not what he is most afraid of and he recognizes faster than anyone, except possibly Liz, that they have messed up. He’s the first to forgive Nick and he loves her so, so much. Despite his own best efforts, she’s become his sister.
Another thing that I find interesting and cool about their relationship is that they share secrets, albeit mostly unintentionally. Jeremy is the one who finds her extra ID, her cell phone, and ultimately the evidence that she’s not who she says she is. Nick is the first person to learn that he’s gay. And of course, they share the secret of how Jeremy gets elected, even though Nick ends up using that against him. I think these secrets, and their volatile relationship, give them the opportunity for some of the most intense scenes and dialogue in the entire show. Whether it’s Nick trying to convince to trust her, that she’s “just a girl who needs a family” to Jeremy reminding her that she knows his deepest secret and that he’s painfully aware that she could betray him at any moment, the chemistry that these two have on screen as believable enemies who become siblings is amazing to see. In the future, now that Nick is no longer hiding things like her identity, I foresee the two of them becoming really good sounding boards for each other!
Honorable mention: Lisa Haddad and Jeremy Thompson have a great frenemy-political rival thing going on, and it needs more appreciation!

No Good Nick Week Compilation
I genuinely didn’t know about this until last night so here I am, pulling up late, to fill out these prompts because God Dammit I love this show and I want everyone to watch it.
Day One: Favorite Character
Is it not obvious? I love Jeremy. His arc was the most profound out of almost everyone, save for maybe Nick, and he’s such an enjoyable character. Kalama did a really good job bringing him to life. My close second is tied between Nick and Liz.
Day Two: Favorite Episode
I have two (shocking, I know)
Part Two, Episode Two: The Big Mitt. Going back after Jeremy comes out to rewatch it is super fucking cute because you pick up on all the little flirting moments between him and Eric that you probably brushed off at first.
Part Two, Episode Ten: The Fools Errand. I really love the little cooking scene between the Thompson’s, Jeremy’s very casual coming out to his father that’s accepted in such a simple gesture, Nick’s double cross...it’s such a good season finale.
Day Three: Favorite Relationship
I’m gonna split this between the two parts, just because my opinion changed dramatically.
Part One: Liz and Ed, actually. I think they’re a really good portrayal of a healthy hetero couple. They tease each other, of course, and there is that trope of “nagging mom, chill dad,” but they each have their own moments that counter that trope. They work together really well as parents (chore auction aside), and are continuously supportive of one another even when they don’t agree with each other.
Part Two: Jeremy and Nick. Their relationship has progressed so much over the show, and I just love the softness that develops after Jeremy’s accidental coming out. It started with the boba drink scene in part one (the only mistake of this show is saying boba is gross, bc excuse you boba tea is DELICIOUS), but it continued on until they just felt like a regular brother/sister duo.
Day Four: Favorite Storyline/Arc
Jeremy’s coming out, obviously. I liked that it wasn’t his whole character, that he wasn’t ashamed of it, how supportive his whole family was.
My second choice would probably be Molly’s development with the Volunteer Squad. I think it was very important for her to realize that, while the squad might have been mean to her, she was being equally mean to them. Sometimes it’s hard to admit or even realize that you’re the one being the bad friend, and it’s so important that TV shows that. Too often we see that the kids were always in the right, or they’re so cartoonishly mean it’s obvious. But Molly’s arc with them was spot on to how I think a lot of fights in friend groups go down. I’m excited to see where this revelation takes her as a character.
Day Five: Favorite Quote
“It’s not that I’m embarrassed. I just want it to be on my terms. For me. When I’m ready.”
An impactful line that I think almost all LGBT+ people can relate to.
Day Six: Most Shocking Moment
Funny enough, for me it was the moment Nick saw Jeremy and Will kissing. I’m so used to not having representation in children’s media that I wasn’t expecting even a mention of a gay character, let alone a KISS between two guys, one of whom is a MAIN CHARACTER. It came out of nowhere so fast that I had to actually pause the show and freak out.
Second goes to Nick absolutely decking Jeremy in part one.
Day Seven: What You’d Love to See in Another Season of NGN
I’m interested to see how Nick settles back in to things like school and family life, as well as how the family reacts to her now that they know all.
I’m most interested in seeing if Liz and Ed interact with Nick’s father at all. That could end...not well, that’s for sure. And I also would really like to see Riley come back into Nick’s life - I think she was a good friend for Nick, and I love her character, though we only got her for a brief time.
Strangely enough, I think Nick and Jeremy’s relationship will probably remain the strongest for the first few episodes, closely followed by Nick and Liz (ironic, given that Liz and Jeremy were the two that took the longest to come around to the idea of Nick in the first place).
I’m ecstatic to see what the creators have in store for us, and I am hoping beyond hope that we can get a second season.

No Good Nick Week Day 6: Most Shocking Moment
Well, it’s hard for me to be too shocked but I will say that the moment that sticks out the most is the punch. We shot that scene in front of a live audience and they were truly shocked. In fact, two people in the audience blurted out “oh my God” and we were going to leave that in the episode. Ultimately we took it out because it was a problem for dubbing into other languages but that’s the moment when an audience first realized No Good Nick wasn’t a comedy. Or not just.

NGN Week Day 3
Maybe in another universe we could be something. No Harbaughs. No Thompsons. Just Us.
“Ms. Fr…Ms. Franz...MS. FRANZELLI!!!”
“I’M AWAKE!” I jump in my desk as I hear the teacher yell my name. I faintly hear the giggling of my other classmates around me, but that’s what I focus on. Once I realize that I’m in my science class, my best friend Riley is pointing behind me with a scared look on her face.
I slowly turned around to see my science teacher, Ms. Pintes, practically blowing steam out of her ears as she glared at me.
“Uh h-hi” I say sheepishly waving my hand slightly.
“Principal’s office now!” Ms. Pintes barks.
I sigh as I grab my bag heading out of the classroom.
Since all the science classrooms are in a separate building from the other classes (something about chemical explosions), I know I’ll be able to avoid going to the principal’s office at all. By the time Ms. Pintes will have time to check if I went to the Principal, she’ll have already forgotten about it. Basically, this means I have the rest of the period free without having to do anything.
I head to the drama room to hide out in until the next class starts. As soon as I leave the science building, I hit something wall like and start falling towards the ground. Before I can hit the ground though, something snakes its arm around me.
As the arm steadies me onto the ground, I look up to realize that I ran into a guy around my age. The guy is tall, lean, and pretty handsome.
“Woah, sorry didn’t see you there, dude” I say moving out of the guy’s way getting a good look at him while I’m at it. I take note of the schedule grasped in his hand.
“Ah, it’s my fault. I shouldn’t have run into a pretty girl like you.”
I raise my eyebrow at his comment. “Therefore I must have value and be worth talking to?”
“No! No, I didn’t mean to call you pretty, not that you aren’t pretty, uh…” The guy blabbers as I try to hold in my amusement.
“Dude, I’m messing with you. The name’s Nick.” I reach out my hand for him to shake.
“Uh, hi I’m Will” He shakes my hand looking a bit embarrassed. When our hands touch, I feel a spark shoot up my arm. I quickly took my hand back trying not to seem too unnerved by it.
“Nice to meet you Will. You new around here?” I ask trying to get a feel for what this guy is like.
“Uh, yeah actually. I just moved here. Is it that obvious?” Will responds
“Not really. It’s just I’m assuming that you’re trying to go the American History while entering the only sciences building.”
“Oh uh haha” He flushes looking down at the schedule in his hand. “Well do you mind helping me find my class?”
“Not at all follow me” I say as I lead Will back into the main building. “So what caused you to move here? Parent lost a job or something?”
“Not exactly. My mom just got incarcerated, so I moved in with foster parents.” I noticed his shoulders sag a little.
“Oh man, I’m sorry.”
“I mean it sucks because I don’t get to see her all the time, but I can at least call her on the phone.”
“It’s better than nothing.” I shrugged, not knowing what to say.  “Well here we are, American History.”
“Thanks again. I’ll uh see you around”
“Yeah, see you around.” We stare at each other for a good long minute neither of us moving.
“Nick!!” I turned to see Riley running down the hall with what looks like a restroom pass in her hands. I turn back to see Will enter the classroom giving me a small wave as he disappears into the world of history.
I think him and I will end up being good friends.
When you’re a big nerd and add practically every reference you can without it being too obvious. Anywho, this is my little contribution to NGN week. Hopefully, I’ll do more with other fandoms if I find some free time. I just wanted to do this since it is the first official theme week for this show.

No good nick week day 4
Favorite storyline/arc
This might be too obvious but nick. I think her story over the two parts was extremely well done. I love that her journey from the start, coming in ready to get revenge on the Thompson’s and ruin their lives, to the end, her becoming a part of the family. I like that her path from bad to good wasn’t a strait line to redemption, but a crazy roller coaster of emotion that finally brought her to a good place. I guess redemption arc isn’t the right word, nick was always an incredibly smart and kind kid, she was just put into bad situations. Even when she was doing something object wrong, I was always wanted her succeed. I was always hooked on her character and so invested in her story, I couldn’t stop watching because I wanted to see her get her happy ending, to finally be in a place where she isn’t being forced to do things she doesn’t want to.
