Sharing another longer comic I made for The Nib back in 2016, since they'll be shutting up shop at the end of this year. This piece was such a great excuse to dig deep into the world of sail-powered cargo! I particularly loved talking to the team behind Ceiba, who are now years into their build and documenting the entire shipbuilding process along the way.

I got a couple more grey acrylic markers cause the set I got was lacking severely in variation

Should probably get a dark red and a dark pink/magenta at some point too

This is the fun part, I can play around and see what colours I need to get the desired effects I want

uhhh I don't rlly have a "process", I kinda just go in? I'll collect any refs I'm using (typically myself 4 posing), display it on my laptop, n then just. draw ig.

Had to get new nibs for my Apple Pencil so I sketched a super quick anime Louise to try them out lol
