Hello fragrance, friends, and lovers. What is your scent of the day ? For me, it's has been the nutty , warm, and somehow clean fragrance known as Dino by @scents_by_bae . First off, this was sent as a gift but was not paid and has never been paid, and I genuinely enjoy this. There is a fresh pily nut here , like walnut. A fresh and herbacous lift underneath quickly reveals a surprisingly clean core to this fragrance. Rose, iris, and voilet are all clean and in harmony , but voilet comes out a little but more, giving this a confidant edge. The base is warm with amber, sweet with modern vanilla, and smooth with calm musk. I get little of the oakmoss or vetiver, but there are more textural nuances around to give this dimension that one might not realize at first. The fresh vetiver plays nice and doesn't overpower but adds an almost fresh cut grass drying on a hot day smell to this. Overall, this fragrance work is unisex and has a life to me. This is 50ml for 130, so this is expensive, but i think you will find the blending excellent. So, how does this sound to you ? Greetings Friends, today we have 3 of of the best from the house of @lubin_paris . First we have Epidor, which is so much more than just a bright play citrus or citrus floral. There is a great complexity and balance with white plum ,clean jasmine musky cedar and bright vanilla. For a massappealing fragrance, this is underappreciated. TOP NOTES: violet, plum MIDDLE NOTES: jasmine, orange blossom BASE NOTES: cedar wood, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla - Second we have kismet, with a smooth calm charmer sort of fragrance. This is very relaxing , even melodic with oily citrus, then you get smooth rose and a whisper of vanillic incense. I might have to get this one. Very unisex here and really most of the fragrances from this house feel that way. Top notes : bergamot, lemon, petitgrain Middle notes : rose centifolia absolute, culgarian rose essence, patchouli Base notes : labdanum cistus, opoponax, Bourbon vanilla. - Third we have a rustic, yet well composed dance of something a little rustic and woody, called Akkad. This too is well crafted, but has a little more texture. The incense a bit more bold with a magnetic sensuality from a hint of styrax. This too tempts me ! Top notes : mandarin, bergamot from Italy, essence of clary sage Middle notes : essence of cardamom, elemi, frankincense, styrax Base notes : amber, cistus labdanum, vanilla, patchouli. - Which one sounds best to you ? Have you explored this wonderful house ? These are more on the blended side,so niche heads looking for a big punch or something risky might not love these so much. Dark , mysterious and a little salty ? Yes, this is chiron from @tizianaterenzi and Greetings my fragrance friends. This is a tantalizing bad boy or girl perfume with earthy tobacco, dark tonka bean, black ambergris and more. The ambergris to me is the star if the show, with it being dark, salty and even a bit anamalic. The quality is outstanding and the cold vanilla brings in those scandalous vibes. The palo santo brings a little woody incense and i don't get much white oud either, but the full woody base supports the sweet and almost savory aspects here. The sandalwood keeps things rounded, but this really has a personality here. If you like playful light citrus, this will be a monster for you. I like this things growl and there is a certainly calmness to the provocative nature here. Words like cool, addictive and even smoldering come to mind here. As you can tell i am a fan, but this doesn't come cheap. Performance is great with 8 to 12 hours and great performance with a distinctive smell that will leave a impression. Certainly not a office fragrance in my opinion, and about that price. This costs 450, i believe but isn't too available at the moment. Greetings Fragrance Friends, what are you wearing and enjoying today ? For me, I went with Treachery by @maherolfactive and couldn't be happier. This is one heck of a bold strong fragrance with a amazing pipe tobacco start. The tobacco is dark and rich and it plays so well with the whisky. The whiskey is not weak or a whisper here and other bold notes come through too. Dark bitter cocao chocolate and intense saffron adds rich dry complexity. Spices add a edge in the cracks , which keeps the intense feel and open feeling of the whiskey going. The davana adds a dry woody and incensey element, almost like dragon's blood incense. I live this raw powerful competent. The dark dried berries do add a playful element, but it more of a subtle note. Overall this is a dream come true fragrance for me and it lasts. You will get 8 hours longevity and excellent performance, but maybe the distinctive notes just jump out. Exiting. Complex Niche House , yes oh my ! This is the house of @woudacieux_haute_parfumerie , and let's talk about the three that really stand out. For me the best has to be Anyshium Shykra, Poussiere de Lune and Inule Kir Is Royal ! - Anyshium Shykra was the first love of the bunch for me, with a dark fruity nature with Complex freshness. Then, nutty elements brought comfort and rich florals sang with mysterious incense to keep me entranced along. - Next was Inule kir Id Royal which invited me with a earthy grape and leathery iris. Spices and dried fruit dust kept me feeling cozy and fancy and chamomile tea helped keep the rustic elegance going. - Last is Poussiere De Lune which was crisp and fresh, yet suprisingly anamalic. Rich chypre elements came forward with a dark liquirice for contrast. This perplexed me in a fun way and also had that mysterous element i hunger for. - Overall this has been one of the best niche houses i have tried in a long while. Call me a niche head, but i enjoy rare unique notes and bold compositions. Wearability was kept in mind, but for many even in the fragrance world, these will be unusual.
