Hello fragrance, friends, and lovers. What is your scent of the day ? For me, it's has been the nutty , warm, and somehow clean fragrance known as Dino by @scents_by_bae . First off, this was sent as a gift but was not paid and has never been paid, and I genuinely enjoy this. There is a fresh pily nut here , like walnut. A fresh and herbacous lift underneath quickly reveals a surprisingly clean core to this fragrance. Rose, iris, and voilet are all clean and in harmony , but voilet comes out a little but more, giving this a confidant edge. The base is warm with amber, sweet with modern vanilla, and smooth with calm musk. I get little of the oakmoss or vetiver, but there are more textural nuances around to give this dimension that one might not realize at first. The fresh vetiver plays nice and doesn't overpower but adds an almost fresh cut grass drying on a hot day smell to this. Overall, this fragrance work is unisex and has a life to me. This is 50ml for 130, so this is expensive, but i think you will find the blending excellent. So, how does this sound to you ? Well, Hello, friends, we are smelling amazing today ! I decided to wear une Nuit Magnifique by @thedifferentcompany , so what did you wear ? This blueberry fragrance is so fun, sweet, and floral in the opening. The fresh spicy ginger brings the playful side with some sensual white plum. The tuberose, Rose, and Jasmine is clean but have that smooth, purple satin feel. The smooth, sweet, incense, modern patchouli, and soft woody tones are nice in the dry down. The airy warm amber really brings an irresistable skin accord in the dry down, too. This lasts 6 or more hours but becomes fairly soft over time. The thing is, this becomes a sensual second skin like fragrance that really pulls charm out on a date. Greetings, Fragrance Friends. What are you wearing and enjoying out there ? For me, it is Arabians Tonka by @montaleparfumsus, and I love it. The tonka seems rugged, like it was rough ground, and the texture with a modern boozy oud is addictive. I don't get much of the bergamot, but there does seem to be the right lift and nuances. The rose is fancy and yet as if cooked in a sugar reduction. I get little none of the amber, but there is enough fun demension here and there from oakmoss, too. The white musk rounds things a little, but the textural aspects still come out, and I love that. In fact, the dry oakmoss reminds me of tobacco sometimes. Overall, this is a very sweet and yet seductive fragrance with an interesting balance. Hello fragrance, friends, and enthusiasts out there, how are you ? I know you are smelling awesome, and i chose a love for me called Myrhh And Incense Mysteriux by @100bon.us ! This calm and cooling incense uses the power of myrh. The seductive spice comes from ceylon cinnamon. There is a little fresh citrus and patchouli. The modern musk and Amberwood bring the contemporary smooth feel here. Overall, this is both a timeless and modern feeling, and it really calms me. The quality for the price is great here, but this doesn't last long. I get 6 to 7 hours with an average projection, but good sillage. Travel sizes are available for less than 20 dollars So i am very happy with this overall and think this needs more love. Do you like a smooth incense ? Hello, fragrance friends and amazing smelling people out there in this beautiful smelling world. What is your scent of the day ? For me, it is Del Mar Seychelles by @baldessarini_fragrances ! This is sadly rare and discontinued but it was such a fun fragrance with unripened watermelon, cool clary sage, and papery tobacco. There are so many notes that are typically powerful but made almost tropical here , like tobacco, Guaiac wood, and pepper. There is a soft velvety oak and uplifting musky angelica here, too. I just adore how this was put together, even though it only lasts 5 hours or so with average performance. So, how do you feel about wearing discontinued fragrances ? Hello fragrance friends and friends, we are at it again with a charmer. This is called Prestige by @primerakw. This does have a certain confidence, so I have warmed up to the name. So, the smell is all about orange, chocolate, and leather. This sour , sweet, and rich feel is something I love this, and it boosts my mood for sure. There are just combinations that work, like lavender with cardemom and rose with oud, so i feel orange chocolate is another such combo. Anyway, this is wonderful stuff and very unisex too. The orange is like candied orange skin, and chocolates like cooking milk chocolate before everything is combing with a hot feeling. The leather is there but never overpowering on that brown, slightly polished side of things. So how do you feel about orange or chocolate in fragrances ? So, what is your scent of the day ? Today, i am rocking the fabulous and classy Egypt by @eightandbob_us . This is one of the best oil lemon ,spices, and woody dry down kind of scents that i know of. There are some fougere elements of lavender and oakmoss, but they are very much in the background. The musky nutmeg and red cardemom really spice things up. The patchouli is light and fancy. The sandalwood is more on that airy side and not particularly creamy. The leather is noticeable but not overpowering, too. Overall, this is a nice wearable gentleman's fragrance with enough appeal to classic and newer noses, I think. I prefer this over creed viking, but that is just me. Hello fragrance friends, what is your scent of the day ? For me, it is the classy and refined beauty known as Givenchy Xeryus Rouge. This is one of the few fougeres and designer fragrances that had me confused as to why it was not more popular and well known. You get a lovely fresh watery and green cactus of the top with clean orange and playful Tarragon. Pimento adds a unique jumping spice feel, and there are some modern musky elements in the background like cedar and Geranium. Then, we get a clean vibe and a hint of creamy sandalwood. This is another wellblended or some might say overblended fragrance, but some notes poke out a little in a fun way. I especially like how easy this is to wear, but it's so timeless. I get 7 hours longevity with good performance. You can still find this for around 50, but this used to be a real cheapy kinf with lalique poure home for me. Hello friends, what is your scent of the day ? I enjoyed this one today called L Aventuier by @fragonardparfumeurofficiel . It's a surprisingly easy-going fragrance with a oily slighty sour citrus core. The rest of the fragrance is a light patchouli, yellow leather, and a fresh amber. I get very little of the veriver musk or pink pepper , but there is a little comforting fougere vibe underneath, that's so comforting. Greetings Friends, what is your scent of the day ? For me, it is the fresh and classy Fierro by @casamorati_dal_1888 . This impressive citrus fougere starts off with the famous amalfi lemon , Bergamot and oily Lemongrass. Things get clean with orange, neroli, and mint. The green vibes are brought by Tarragon and thyme, with that mint too. The base is a light playful vetiver, airy sandalwood, musk, and some cool woodiness from nutmeg. Overall, this is a very well-balanced fougere with that likablity but still has some of that green feel. This would be great on any professional at work for certain. This is one of the best fougeres I have ever tried with cowboy grass by DS & Durga . This lasts 7 to 8 hours with good performance. 100ml is 305, but there is a smaller size, too. I was feeling easy going, so I went with Montblanc Starwalker. So, Hello friends. What is your scent of the day ? This is a bright yet calming aquatic with some interesting notes. There is a little bamboo for a fun green touch. There is a little modern heart of sandalwood, ginger, and amber. Fir and Nutmeg add more little intriguing nuances. I get a watery orange in the background, and this is more of an overblended fragrance. Overall, I always get little nuances of tea from the bamboo, orange, and ginger , which is fun. This lasts 6 or so hours with average performance, so this one is on the sodt side. That being said, it is still out there at discounters for around 25 dollars and is one of the better designer freshies I know of. So, do you like carefree fragrances ? Hello and happy New Year !!!! I decided to celebrate with Vintage Beau De Jour by @tom Ford ! This is a very mass appealing modern fougere that does not overpoer you with oakmoss, pine, or anything else. The citrus is delightful with playful herbacous accords. The lavender is super likable, and I don't get much of the patchouli. The soft amber adds a little warmth. The new version is fantastic, too, and even fresher. The oroganol is a little more green, and the amber comes through a little more. The new version is fresher and even has a little aquatic vibe underneath. I get 7 hours and average performance from this. If you like massappealing fragrances, you might like this, but if you like powerful and green fougeres, this might not be for you. Hello friends, we got another beauty on our hands, with Itasca by @lubin . This is described as a ambery, Woody fragrance, but this is really more of a fougere. You get a playful, fun green juniper and welcoming watery Grapefruit. The neroli add that clean feel underneath, but a textured fire keeps the complex feel going. Nutmeg adds some comforting spice, and Marigold adds a calming oily yellow feel in the beneath. I don't get much of the sage or tonja bean, but there is a certain confident, but never oushy green and modern feel who almost beg to be noticed, but never punch through. The pine adds more transparent green qualities with airy incense and cool musk. The amber is barely perceptible at all. These last 7 hours with good overall performance. How does this sound to you ? Greetings, Fragrance Friends. What are you enjoying today ? For me, it is Red Vetiver by @montaleparfumsus ! This fresh watery vetiver is both classy and wearable. This is often compared to terre de hermes, and the vitiver does feel similar, with a certain green raw quality. This does not have the fabcy hermes florals on the top but instead has a wet Grapefruit top. This Grapefruit is inviting and something many of us love, like in blue de channel. There is a little pep of black pepper and musky cedar. I get little of the patchouli, but the peru balsalm adds a musky, incensy body. Overall, this fresh , enjoyable vetiver is both green and wearable. I think this one has a following for those reasons: this is both green and playful. So, fougere lovers might like this, but those who want a very easy-going vetiver and green Vibe get that too. This is certainly one of the more mass appealing montales for all. Hello friends, I hope you are well, safe, and refreshed after the holidays. I have something rather special to share with you today, called Encre Noir Crystal edition by @lalique . This is a high-end version of the famous original encre noir. It still has its signature dark inky feel, but this is richer and higher quality for sure. The origanol is a bit airy, like a phantom, but the richness has this one feeling almost a little earthy. Overall, I prefer this one and love it, but it comes at a great cost of 750 dollars. I find it strange that a popular designer fragrance that often hits didcounters was made essentially 10 times more expensive. This is better, but most can not justify the price. For wealthy and exclusive clients, each bottle is labeled for these crystal editions, and they will have something coveted. I can not justify the price, but I don't have this kind of money. I was sent a used bottle by @so_avant_garde , who is one of the few places where this is still available. Happy Holidays friends, and soon to be New Year ! I hope you have had time to relax and have great food. For my fragrance today, I decided to wear one of my favorites, Meharees, by @erbolario . This comforting musky spiced vanilla has a special charm about it. There is a certain light fullness from incense and a fancy feel from patchouli. The amber is on the light fresh side with a little rose for an airy balance. Overall, this is a must try for spice and unque vanilla fragrance lovers.
