im like already brainstorming possible teams depending on the full pokedex in paldea. i definitely want Ceruledge on my team bc a physical-focused Fire/Ghost type is the coolest shit ever and i love how that little freak looks. then id LOVE gallade and bisharp to be there for Fighting/Psychic and Dark/Steel bc i think those three are a really cool trio. id also love Togekiss, Alolan Ninetales, Hisuian/Unovan Zoroark (im pretty sure h zoroark was in a trailer but not 100%)... Raichu's 100% gonna be in the game so i can definitely have that but bisharp and gallade im like rlly hoping for. please. team of little men please please please

So I don't mess up,what or who exactly is nightshade dressed as? I'm also curious on what Fusion he is,I don't mean to be offensive but it is kinda hard to tell.

Okay so- I kinda laughed because I also have no idea the heck the costume is supposed to be either??

At first I was going to do it just as if they were hiding there, and then I thought to add the mask. Now, even though I have never seen Phantom of the Opera, I know the mask isn’t at all like this. I just- I colored it in, realized that’d done it, and went with it. And instead of coloring the cloak like a red or even a green, I made it purple.

I mean at this point I’m just gonna say Nightshade is dressed as one of Snatcher’s Minions in A Hat in Time because maybe it can work. (It definitely doesn’t but oh well.)

As for Nightshade, they’re a Shayrai. Shaymin Darkrai fusion.

I can’t really draw Darkrai or land form Shaymin too well so I just- threw them together. Funny enough, as I was looking up the shiny color palette of Shaymin and Darkrai I realized that I could’ve made them fully shiny and made their tail the kinda purple green Darkrai is but oh well. (Also I could’ve made their neck fur purple like an actual nightshade plant is but their design is a year old so I might update it eventually.)

ik ive said this before but i stand by my statement that my decision to make nightshade The Canon Darkrai is literally the funniest thing ive ever done. rise of darkrai? that was him. pokemon ranger? yup. pokemon mystery dungeon? yeah. pokepark? thats practically canon already since pokepark and pmd take place in the same universe. now add a new second ranger game in the middle where nightshade gets a human friend after the events of shadows of almia and then everything in the world goes wrong. his joker moment is justified
