zolu as nika/asura is so great because there's the unwavering devotion taken to heights of worship but also silly little things like celestial events occuring when they get together. like yes when an eclipse occurs it's because the sun god and the king of hell are smashing spectacularly, DUH. sometimes they might even cause a little tremor here and there as they passionately makeout. the earth and the skies are basically free real estate for these two ridiculously in love gods and i just love it when fic writers take it there, it's so fun!

love the whole flavour of zolu that's them stoutly not giving a fuck about their past or present incarnations and their implications on their lives in the now, or the fact that they're technically gods or whatever. the type of zolu that's like who cares about fate and being the sun god and the king of hell when i chose you, and will keep choosing you here in this life, even though everything about that sentiment and everything about them and their bond and their interactions still speaks to the inevitability of their love and how they're meant to be...i love when their nonchalance wars with their inadvertent and inherent piousness like that it's so good

there was this zolu fic with asura zoro x nika luffy where they would be like “assistants” to the strawhats who worshiped nika (unaware their captain was him and that zoro was his like helper) and they thought luffy was like this prophet for nika sent to help then in battle or something like that and they fight buggy and its revealed but i cant find the fic anywhere please help……
