It's based on a Dialogue Prompt for the AU I made on my other blog.

Description is roughly:

22. Do you have any headcanons that you'd like to share?

Well, I have a few, but the one that always crosses my mind is the one that, like it the comic, both Movie Ballister and Ambrosius are orphans.

There was a whole smartly done explanation for it, but my brain lagged.

28. What other media do you recommend for people who enjoyed Nimona?

Woof, I'm not too sure if I'm being honest.

Personally, I like Big Hero 6, TMNT, but I would also recommend media like The Owl House, Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Good Omens. Anything that has to do with Family/Found Family, The Unknown, Magic, Good vs/and Evil, and Gay stuff too.

51. What are your favourite Nimona fanfic tropes to read and/or write?

Found family. Absolutely, and wholeheartedly, Found Family is my favourite trope of all, followed by the line "A family isn't found, it's made", explaining that you didn't just meet these people and become family, you built a family together with them through time and bonding.

People know me as someone who loves angst and hurt in stories, but I'm actually a huge sucker for fluff and love too, so you can imagine that any time I read "Meet Cute" or "Coffee Shop AU" my interest is immediately peaked.

Having a good balance, like one is good at one thing and the other is good at another thing, for example one is an engineer and the other is their rider.

When one is a light sleeper, but the other can sleep through a storm.

When the characters learn to get along not for each other, but because they love and/or care for the same person.

Healing, emotionally and/or physically with the help of each other.

I love when language and culture is used and or described in a story.

I have many different tropes I like, and though not all of them can come to mind right now, these are the ones that come for most.

Do you listen to music when you write?

Depends on if the song or beat fits the scene, like action or romance, but usually I work in silence because my head is loud enough.

9. Current W.I.P.?

I actually have a lot. Including a Zombie AU, Superhero Hero/Villain AU, Vampire AU, and many more different AUs for Nimona, a one-shot for Big Hero 6, and some works I've been planning on finishing for TMNT.

40. Share some backstory for one of your characters.

I'm gonna take this as an OC line.

So, technically I have two characters, one that I have worked on for years, and the other one...

I'm so sorry Ace.

But yeah, their name is Tani.

Tani has been a character that has grown with me since 2014. She started as an OC for Big Hero 6, but slowly became someone for many different fandoms, and if I could, he could probably be a character in his own right.

Because Tani is so used in different Fandoms (my friend calls in the Taniverse) their backstory changes a lot, but it more often than not has a structure that is similar:

Tani is a child of an affair, but for reasons of keeping face and social image, her parents decide not to divorce or to give her up. However, they are not attentive to Tani and often neglect her, leaving her malnourished, or with dirtied clothes which contrast her siblings who do not necessarily care for her though she is the youngest. But when her 'father learns of how intelligent she is, he allows her to raise in her education. Before she could go further though, at the age of 5, she was taken away from them by a social worker to an orphanage in New York, who would end up adopting her. However, even her she was not emotionally stimulated, though she was given more then she could have ever hoped for.

Her aunt, as she begins to call her, is focused on education and financial success in life, so her education continued here as she was dubbed a prodigy in her schools. They focused on her face and image in the world, learning and schooling never stopped, not even at home, and people only ever praised her for what they wanted of her.

And She didn't really like that.

(Tani figures out he's Bi and Genderfluid at 13, and later when she's around 17 figures out that they're greysexual, if I go into that now though I might as well right her story.)
