enter pearl. the thing about pearl is, she's been through more time loops than probably anyone else alive- if someone anywhere near her starts looping, she ends up getting caught in it somehow, and she's gotten really good at figuring them out. however, this loop's repeated like- what, 30 times now or something? and she's starting to get bored with it, so she sets out to track down whoever's loop she got dragged into and bust them out of it.

What were the ten commandments thoughts on meliodas being brainwashed by elizabeth?

I feel like they would be skeptical at first.

Definitely a mix of emotions. They're furious with Elizabeth for it, but also glad that their former leader didn't actually betray them.

Before they believe it though, they're definitely skeptical when the theory pops up. Meliodas is strong, after all, how could he possibly let himself get brainwashed with a goddess spell? Not to mention one that takes a bit longer than half a second to set up, which would require him to stay still for a bit.

The brainwashed Meliodas is also skeptical, because he still believes that he loves Elizabeth and she loves him. How could she possibly brainwash him?

The TC make an effort as a group to hold him down, so Melascula can Zeldris can have a proper look, who are probably the two most suited for the job.

As for Drole and Gloxinia, they have their doubts as well. As far as they know, Mel and Eli do love each other and have no reason to believe otherwise, bc they weren't told of the SDs plan. When it comes out that Elizabeth did indeed brainwash Meliodas, they're mostly disappointed, but also angry. They both knew how high and mighty the goddesses were when the alliance formed, but dismissed it for the sake of survival. They thought Elizabeth was different, that she genuinely cared about every living thing. But maybe she wasn't different. Not at all. That realization actually puts some great deal of doubt in their minds, too, that Elizabeth might've messed with their minds as well.

As for how the brainwashing gets undone, I can imagine the healing pools being used to get rid of every last trace of goddess magic inside Meliodas, maybe with a bit of help with extra darkness magic from the commandments.
