I found it interesting that they have him demon like features, suggesting that maybe underneath his holier-than-thou appearance and attitude, he really isn't that different from the sinners he kills. do the others realize how their treatment of bolas during Purgatory has affected Charlie and Phil (and the other bolas members)? Maybe Tubbo raises a sword too quickly, and Chrlie has a panic attack, and Phil has to comfort him.

Z!Phil is able to repress things like it's nobodies business but he hates when people sneak up behind him now. Z!Etoiles (.. and Z!Bagi and Z!Fit) s kill on him left a scar in the middle of his chest and a strong discomfort for people touching his back. Or even just standing behind him.

Z!Charlie though is dealing with things way worse than him. Z!Charlie is fucked up after everything and genuinely did develop some really heavy issues with hallucinations n the feeling of always being watched or followed does NOT help. When Poppet comes into the picture she makes it worse at first. It's not her fault of course he was just just traumatized and scared to make any mistakes with her. He still is but since the first babysitting shift and many more that came after Poppet is helping keep him grounded. She is the light of his life nowadays.

That doesn't fix everything. He still does flinch when anyone who wasn't BOLAS moves too quickly. He can't help but panic. Z!Phil understands him at least. Z!Phil might not hold any biases against former Soulfire members of Soul-LAS but he understands why Z!Charlie would. Z!Charlie went through worse than him, in his own opinion.

Man I get this is well intentioned and on some level I do appreciate it but like

This feels kind of similar to leaving a comment like "Oh I hate this ship, but you drew it so beautifully!" Like in some ways it's a genuine compliment and I'm glad that my art can sometimes strike a chord with people who even aren't Rezo fans but it's still kind of awkward to me to be sitting here like, wearing a Rezo t-shirt and having someone come up to me and go "Oh, hey it's Rezo! He's such a terrible character lol"

like buddy do you think i am metaphorically wearing this shirt ironically. that i am ironically putting a great deal of effort into my many many drawings ft. rezo. that my shoujo filter edits of rezo were done from a place of hatred. what part is signalling to you that This Person Definitely Wants To Hear About Your Dislike Of Rezo, because this has happened multiple times from various different people.

aww thank you!!!! i was heavily inspired by view-monster for all the little transition tracks, though I think i did do it a bit more gracefully than neil did with his 20 transition songs
