They should have an Emmy and Oscar category specifically for:
"best performance shot in warm-weather costume on a cold day"
because THAT is acting, looking like you're fine when you're freezing your nuts/tits off.

Just thinking about how I need Elliot to call Noah ‘son’ & ask Noah if he can adopt him & I need it to happen in this exact spot.

*Elliot helping Noah with his homework after dinner*
Elliot: Liv! I can’t do this stupid math!
Olivia: What’s the math problem?
Elliot: Well, we have to add the bed, subtract the clothes, divide the legs, and hope we don’t multiply.
Fin, covering Noah’s ears, while Olivia smacks Elliot upside the head: Not gonna lie, that was hella smooth.

hey do you ever think about s16 e13 'decaying morality' where liv had another young girl named jenna in her squadroom who had experienced unimaginable trauma and that she likely went home and had nightmares about the last time another young girl named jenna who had experienced unimaginable trauma was in her squadroom? do you think that when she saw this jenna out to the elevator with nick by her side that she saw the ghost of elliot's past and did not leave for home until she was sure this jenna wasn't coming back? do you think that nick wanted to say something about her hands suddenly shaking after the elevator doors closed? do you also think that she ordered nick and rollins and carisi out as soon as she could? under the pretence they had a hard day and needed the rest? do you think that fin hung around, watching his sergeant carefully, knowingly and decided he wasn't leaving that night until she did?

well. that was bullshit. but not for the reasons you’d expect. i actually really liked the scene! it was absolutely beautifully acted and shot, mariska and chris knocked it out of the park as i expected they would. i also thought it was incredibly in character for liv to not be ready just yet, she admitted to amanda that she still hasn’t forgiven him for abandoning her and that makes sense! she’s been left by every single person in her life with the EXCEPTION of fin and noah. she’s scared to move into a relationship with elliot, have it not work out and lose him forever. this all lines up with the literal 24 years of canon that we have at our fingertips. it also shows how much olivia trusts him, she trusts him to pick up her son. she’s admitted TO HIM that she WANTS HIM but she simply can’t RIGHT NOW. HOWEVER i AM upset about how it was baited, they switched out the scenes last minute. they promoted a completely different scene and switched it LAST MINUTE and olivia, instead of crumbling and letting elliot hold her up, was left to prop herself AGAIN. and even if they were always going to do the bait and switch of the scenes they shouldn’t have promoted the scene the way it was, if they were always gonna do this they should’ve left us in the dark instead. it would’ve been better received, and allowed for fans to allow the natural progression of their relationship.
