every time i think about how people steal wyll's romantic gestures + desire to have a family + everything they gush about in their mega ooc fluff headcanons for their white men but absolutely refuse to engage with wyll in any way bc he's just the token black character to them

Danny just wanted to have fun with his friends, not wake up to vicious pounding on his hotel door, sprawled on the floor, with an unconscious and bloodied Wayne boy in the bathtub.

What Danny doesn't remember is that said Wayne boy asked him for assistance after getting drugged at a gala, and Drunk Danny agreed.

So now there's paparazzi photos of said Wayne boy staggering away from the gala, clearly under the influence of something, while leaning on Danny, who is taking his new bestie to his hotel room to sleep it off.

What Danny doesn't remember is that said Wayne boy tried to go to the bathroom to splash cold water on his face, lost his balance, and slammed his face into the sink before staggering backwards and tripping into the bathtub.

All that Danny knows within five minutes of waking up is that Bruce Wayne, infamous ditz and playboy extraordinaire, looks fucking terrifying when he thinks one of his sons has been attacked.

I just had a whump scenario pop in my head.

A Whumpee so badly impaired by a high burning temperature that drinking water from a cup is too hard for them. They can’t sit up, they can’t move, it hurts too much. Caretaker is at a loss of what to do. They were sweating too much from the fever. They needed some hydration somehow. And they had no straws on hand.

As they take a damp washcloth and brush whumpee’s sweaty forehead, it hits them. There’s water on this towel. They get a new fresh washcloth and dampen it with fresh cold water from a water bottle and place it to whumpee’s lips. Whumpee is confused and dazed, to which caretaker says

“Try to bite the towel and drink the water from it.”

Whumpee opens their mouth and bites down, and starts suckling the cold wet towel. They almost looked like a baby animal suckling milk from their mother or from a bottle. Caretaker was relieved that whumpee was finally hydrating properly in a way that they could with what little strength they had.

While Bruce was lost in time, he made a Deal. 

He doesn’t exactly mention it to his family when he comes back- he was more than a little busy trying to figure out what he missed, where his children were, what the fuck had even happened. Besides, he’d put it in the report that he’d encountered some sort of primordial time being- even if he was still investigating that on his down time. 

So he thinks he can be forgiven for forgetting to mention anything until Clark drops a cup while staring at him with a pale expression and shakily asks why there’s a second, slower heartbeat in his chest. He just also wishes it wasn’t in the middle of a League meeting.
