Felaffectis

(AKA cat-like attraction)

A form of alteraffectis attraction where you experience attraction in a similar way or the same way as a cat, or express it in the same way (ex: happy purring, cuddling with someone, etc).

Now obviously people can't literally purr and don't have fur. But the term is for people who view themselves as having cat-like mannerisms, or catkin/cat nonhumans.

Name comes from “feline” + “affectis”.

Creationtum Attraction, a form of nonhuman tertiary attraction (Alteraffectis(link)) that is described by how a creation feels towards the their creator.

This is a umbrella term for types of makers: example being, A being made by a god, a doll made by a doll maker, a art piece towards their artist, etc.

(This term is to be paired with its counterpart, Makerim(link) witch is how a creator feels twoards their creation)

A form of nonhuman tertiary attraction (Alteraffectis) that describes how a guardian angel feels towards the one(s) they’re guarding!

Petaffectis is a subset of Alteraffectis which describes how a domesticated pet would feel affection towards their owner(s) or human caretakers.

This term was coined with alterhumans, otherkin, pet regressors, copinglinkers and similar in mind.

This post was made by Gohan. We usually sign off but I didn't know where to do so.

Okay, so this started out when I asked Vegeta about saiyan relationships. This eventually led to me renaming the relationship/attraction types after flowers because no one could figure out how to transcribe what he was calling them. These terms aren't exclusive to saiyans or anything, but they are deeply connected with saiyan culture.

Daisyship/Daisy Attraction - Friendship/platonic attraction, but specifically in a very intense, very nonhuman way.

Rosehood/Rose Attraction - This is basically just a romantic/sexual relationship but in a nonhuman way.

Marigold/Marigold Attraction - This is like tutelary and cedural attraction or a mentor/student relationship, with the Mari being the mentor and the Gold being the student. Again, in a nonhuman way.

Liliance/Lily Attraction - This is like a found family or a pack bond. The family doesn't necessarily have to be found, but it often was in saiyan culture.

Irisment/Iris Attraction - This one doesn't really have a human equivalent. It's like a combination of a rivalry and a friendship. An iris partner would be someone you compete with in order to improve yourself. Someone once suggested calling it a sparmate, but it doesn't necessarily have to be in a fighting context, so I decided against it.

Anyone can use these if they so choose, and they don't necessarily have to be saiyan or even nonhuman.

no it's not a weird question!! I'm delighted you asked me! but i hope you don't mind my answer which is: i hate thinking about that!!!!!! if i think about him being a human i am not attracted to him AT ALL and it feels weird! if he somehow got turned into a human i would cry real tears! sometimes i think about that just to check if anything changed but it never has!!!! SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT THAT as angst fodder because it would be a pure tragedy if he somehow became a human!!!!!!!

oh anyway i just realized i didn't answer your ACTUAL question because you didn't ask me how i felt about it. as for his looks i have zero feelings. EXCEPT!!!! that he would have the cutest smile in the world to me. (that means it would look exactly like my husband's smile)

Immoaffectis attraction is a type of alteraffectis attraction that describes how an immortal feels towards who/what made them immortal.

This was coined for the day 1 prompt 'immortality' for @mogai-sunflowers' event, although the concept was originally thought of for the 'tertiary attraction' prompt for @chaoscoining's idexpo event. We're just kind of bad at doing things in a timely fashion.

Kinaffectis

Kinaffectis is a subset of Alteraffectis which describes how an animal would feel affection for another of their own kind.

This is not the same as being Kin 4 Kin. The individual on the receiving end of this attraction does not have to be of the same kintype or be alterhuman/otherkin/etc in any way. This is only to describe how oneself experiences attraction.

This term was coined with alterhumans, otherkin, pet regressors, copinglinkers and similar in mind.
