The term refers to afab women/females/girls who are exclusively sexually and/or romantically attracted to other afab women/females/girls.
/! This label should only be used when the afab person who experiences this specifc attraction self-identifies as such/!

It's ok to identify one way and then realize later on that things have changed. Orientation isn't necessarily set in stone. Labels are helpful when they're helpful to you, so don't feel like you are forced to use one forever if it doesn't fit!

It's funny to see how the community is going crazy about moon's orientation/sexuality while himself doesn't even seem to care about it
Like- the man is always busy with something and people really think he's going to take a minute to wonder if he's ace, gay, straight or idk?

... "if you're trying to get some clues about your orientation, you can start by considering things like these:
In terms of crushes, romantic and/or sexual attraction, what gender of people, if any, is predominant? Am I mostly attracted to men, women, both or neither; to masculinity, femininity, both or neither? Is the gender of people to whom I'm attracted a big issue for me or not?
In my actual romantic or sexual relationships, which sex or gender, if there is one, do I date or wish to date most often?
Which sex or gender has a starring role in the sexual fantasy life inside my own head, or my sexual or romantic ideals? Or do my sexual fantasies or ideals have a mix or range of genders; or does gender seem to be a non-issue in my fantasies or ideals?
What is the orientation of my peer group like, if there's any one orientation that's common? Do I feel I fit in or like I don't with that group in that respect?
How do I feel about those I date, hook up or partner with? Do I often feel bored, like I’m just going through the motions, or just not excited by going out with members of the gender or sex I typically date? If I think about the ways a partner or partners have made me super-excited, or the things I like about them, were any of those things about gender? If so, about what kind of gender: masculinity, femininity, androgyny, gender non-conformity?
What orientation feels most comfortable for me right now, in terms of how I identify publicly? Is it the same one that feels best with how I identify privately, only to myself? If I set aside feelings or worries about what other people, like friends or family might think about me, or want for me, what orientation would I say is mine?
Have I ever suspected that my orientation may be different than I’ve thought before? Do I ever feel like an impostor?
What do my gut feelings tell me about my own orientation, even if those feelings make me uncomfortable or unhappy?
How you answer questions like those now may be different than you might when you’re older, even without sexual partnership experience."

When feeling intimate with yourself through clothing, you may feel a sudden need or urge to share it with someone else. And when you start to imagine and picture it, you feel surprised. Perhaps you didn’t feel like a bottom or you didn’t see the appeal of men prior to it. Maybe you didn’t picture making out with a girl or felt nothing at all to any gender prior to it. It can be argued if your orientation will change through HRT or by discovering your trans identity. Maybe your feelings haven’t or won’t change at all. Whatever does happen, don’t be afraid of the results. Don’t fight it, embrace it.
-Seeing this image doesn’t just show a woman in lingerie, but also shows her sexuality being expressed. There is something so intimate and feminine when wearing shapewear. Of course, there are a few captions using this image. However, not everyone follows the “typical” aspects of feminine sexuality. Not every woman is submissive to men. Others like to “top” other men, while some prefer to swing both ways or only like other women. Some don’t even feel attraction at all or love anybody, regardless of gender identity. And often times, your sexuality can be fluid. These changes are just another part of transitioning into your internal gender. So instead of being afraid of suddenly liking both men and women alike, learn to adapt to your new change with help and support.

Straight is a slang term for the term heterosexual, which is the attraction to individuals of the opposite binary gender, or the attraction to gender(s) unlike one's own.
Mod Note: Please try to resist the urge to vote the ‘never heard of’ option as a joke, I am genuinely interested in the metrics here.

Hey, so in case you didn't know, oriented aroaces are valid and totally exist!! (This admin is one.) It's absolutely possible to be aroace but also have an orientation connected to it, like sapphic aroace, gay aroace, bi aroace, etc.
There are lots of different types of attraction outside of romantic and sexual. So someone could be aroace but be aesthetically/platonically/sensually/etc. attracted to females only [or insert gender/orientation here].
We hope this helps some of you out who may be questioning. <3
