Because so many of the hermits have extra limbs (like tails and wings) whenever they meet they have people bring their own chairs or just sit on stools and benches

Eventually, because grian thought it would be funny to bring a perch instead of a chair one meeting, this policy led to a sort of war between hermits; each bringing the most obnoxious and annoying chairs they could create simply to annoy each other.

Etho is an end hybrid. Of the entire end dimension, so he has different traits of it, such as endstone colored hair, the ability to teleport, will sometimes hiccup shulker bullets(hence the mask) has extra inventory slots, and also has wings.

See, 'hybrid' is perhaps not the right term. Etho is made of the end dimension - data and code coalesced into a player shaped mould. He is the universe tasting itself, enjoying everything there is to offer with a body carved of the very blocks he walks on.

Whilst he may appear like a normal player from a distance, there's no mistaking it when you look into his uninjured eye. The void sits there, with the same vertigo as staring into the neverending darkness of the end.

to join hermitcraft, you need to be nonhuman in some way. joe hills (notorious for just being some guy) broke his way into hermitcraft one day and he was weird enough that they let him stay. if he is a ghost, he died some point after that.
