In a less positive vein, it’s come to light that there’s been people that have tried to blame issues at the nonprofit on me. Even though I quit last year, passed everything off, and gave them every tool I had.

I don’t feel this is coming from the board. I recruited most of that team, and they are lovely people. It was a privledge to work with them.

This is coming from somewhere else. I’m a little sad, but also, I don’t have time or room in my heart to be angry. My job is great. I’m writing stories that make me feel happy to be writing again, stories that make want to write every night. I’ve been meeting new people and spending more time with the people I already knew.

In short, I moved on. I’m happy, I get to travel more, I get to do all the things I gave up for years.

If some people are too bitter and would rather point fingers than look inside themselves, that is on them.

I am myself again. I am healing. And I won’t let petty people set that back.

Our special needs children require timely consultation from Dr. Anaita Udwadia Hegde, Pediatric Neurologist. She helps us pro bono to monitor the developmental progress of children and make changes to suit their needs. Due to lockdown this consultation was unique as it was online. We are all discovering talents we didn't know we had. Swaroopa our social worker channeled her inner stylist and took responsibility of giving awesome haircuts to the children.
