It is crucial to remain vigilant against the reemergence of liberal Zionist narratives. If there's any progress to be had from the hell Palestinian people have been immersed in, it's the death of this pernicious propaganda.

Liberal Zionists adopt an anti-intellectual, imperialist framework, which considers an insistence on historical truth and accountability as unnecessary, futile and even petty and seek to problem-solve using a fallacious “pragmatic” view to the future rather than an inquiry into the lessons of the past.

Victims of domestic and other forms of abuse require empowerment as a means to end their victimisation, ultimately bringing their oppressors to justice. Empathy for the abuser as a first step towards this goal is, in fact, a form of perpetuating exploitation. It empowers the abuser and cements the abusive dynamic by denying the essence of the unequal relationship.
