In case you missed it the first time........ About us...... Founded early in the first lockdown of 2020 in St Helens, Lancashire by Husband and Wife team Barry and Alex Engelen initially as a fun side business, ORIGINAL CHARISMA quickly grew in to an absolute passion project and occupied any free time around their work life and caring for their two boys and their numerous activities. As a 6'5" 18 stone rugby player for West Park RU Barry never imagined himself behind an embroidery machine or picking and critiquing samples of fabric and thread. However his own frustrations when shopping online in finding the middle ground between dull and boring, and gaudy and brash led to him finding a concept of the EZ Tiger logo and seeking help from family friend Matt Hopkins to redesign it in to the perfect logo for the brand (see our previous posts for more about the logo). Alex is the craft minded side of the team and came up with the concept of our garment packaging. A refinement that sets us apart from the usual delivery of a clear plastic bag inside a grey plastic bag. Barry would be the first to admit that if the packaging were left to him they would be in a taped up carrier bag with a hand written address. Past customers know this is far from being the case. ORIGINAL CHARISMA LIMITED is proud to be based in St Helens and is committed to NEVER leaving the area, hoping to develop into a brand this often self deprecating town can be proud of while in time being in a position to give something back to the town and community in which the founders children are raised.
