Ok. Imma need to ramble a bit. Today, my school had that monthly talking class, where the whole class basically sits down and talks about how they feel in school and if they wanna change anything. Great idea. Problem is; I get a better view of what shit my classmates are talking.
Today. We finished like class talking and our teacher suggested that we could talk about politics, since the wars and the coming up Europe elections.
And people were like "naaah, not politics" or "AFD!!!" (AFD is the German outer right wing party that basically wants to get Nazi-Germany back. I could rage about them for hours, but i do not have energy for that rn.) One of the guys said it was a joke (jokes are meant to be funny. That's not funny, but ok).
And now, what completely made me lose faith. A girl (who is also lowkey transphobic. She reposted like only 2 Genders shit) justified her liking for that party by saying they wanna keep allowing combustion vehicles. Bc they sound better. This is soo fucked up on so many levels;
1. You justify worsening your environment, bc you'd rather have a louder car than an electronic one.
2. You trade human rights for a loud car. But ofc that's fine. Bc they won't fuck over your rights, just the ones of every single minority.
Give up your 'right' to have a combustion vehicle and protect others rights to fucking live. And it's not even like you won't be bothered by what that party will do. Your friends might need to leave the county bc of them bitches. But no. Believe their lies and be part of the thrid that dangers the democracy. Great job.

As a Bob Dylan fan, what are your thoughts on "A Simple Desultory Philippic" by Simon and Garfunkel? (I love it. 😂)
it's honestly one of my favourite tracks from that album because every bob dylan fan knows bob dylan is better off with a song or 2 like that one *looks at bowie's a song for bob dylan* and i can say manyyy profound things about the way i feel about it now, but i feel like what i thought about it in my most obnoxious teenage times is wayyy more interesting which is: i love this song because i too would have a song like this written about me if only my enemies were as poetic and sophisticated as s&g are so i shall imagine that my enemies are these guys my mother has an insane obsession with (and she interestingly has an insane obsession with bobby too so maybe i should ask HER about this, hers is the answer you want for this one) because that scenario could actually stylistically blend with the modern hamlet take i perceive my life as.

Were you the one talking about an mcr song based on Gerard being afraid of Mike dying and getting that phone call? I can't remember what it's called and google has failed me 😶🌫️
YEAH I WAS THE ONE TALKING ABOUT IT BUT IT WASN'T AN MCR SONG. you're thinking of last week when I was going insane over the intro to the song Brother. it's from Gerard's solo album, which came out the same year that Mikey was told he should have never woken up after an overdose (iirc) and went to rehab. so the dialogue in the intro (which imo is barely audible, I had to see stuff about it online and then look it up myself to even realize) is based out of the emotions surrounding that.
the actual MCR song that's about Mikey is called Famous Last Words and you've probably also seen me scream a lot about that. Gerard wrote it while they were making The Black Parade (which like obviously is probably their most popular album) because Mikey was having a really hard time and was considering leaving the band. the bridge is actually based on the fact that, when they were doing that album they stayed at this purportedly haunted mansion or whatever (idk man the early 00s were whack) and Mikey has straight up said, on camera, that he would get scared and so would go and sleep on the floor of Gerard's room. thus the "I see you lying next to me" line in the bridge of Famous Last Words.
Gerard has also said that the song Save Yourself from Danger Days is "a cousin" a Famous Last Words, so there's a conclusion that can be reached that maybe on some level that song took a bit of inspiration from Gerard's love for Mikey as well, especially considering that within the plotline of the Danger Days music videos (which have their own plot and characters portrayed by the band), there's a scene where Gerard's character is killed and Mikey's character kinda goes ballistic about it. but that's basically speculation
and as we delve into some very murky and hypothetical areas here, my personal theory is that Surrender the Night, from Schroedinger's album Conventional Weapons*, a series of double-single releases which were mostly written between the making of TBP and Danger Days but weren't released until after Danger Days, could ALSO be about Mikey in some vague, ambiguous way as MCR's songs tend to be vague and ambiguous in general (except when they're very very starkly about love).
*(I call this Schroedinger's album because I take them all in the context of each other and would consider Conventional Weapons as an album in its own right, however it was released as EPs with two songs each so technically speaking it isn't a proper album in that way)
and that isn't even mentioning the fact that Mikey has a cameo on another song from Hesitant Alien (he says "it was really me" in Millions)

You know what. I hope that as time goes on every expansion has a fun little mastery track for the housing.
And I want one of the mastery tracks to be musical instruments.
I want a piano. perhaps an organ. Harpsichord. 8-octave array mbira. that one glass bowl instrument i'm forgetting the name of. cello. all the instruments impractical for carrying around.....
(....also slightly unrelatedly, i still want accidentals. I cannot jazz in these conditions.)
Like. Join someone's house instance, immediately greeted by the rest of the party playing in-game jazz. Or, alternatively, enter someone's house instance and immediately get unwillingly rickrolled. like, yeah, sure, i could use the mastery tracks that give me better in-game bonuses, but- consider- giving me an entire church organ to become the in-game phantom of the opera.
