I’m seeing a weird uptick in people commenting nasty stuff on people’s non-cat/dog pet stuff again and not so gentle reminder:
Your phobia or dislike of certain animals does not give you the right to harass and bully people who love and share them.
Use the blacklist tag like a normal human being, and leave people who love rats or snakes or bugs etc. the fuck alone.

Maria & Gehrman for the bingo! :D

yeah Powerup who made the banner is insane like that :'} and THANK YOU that's two days on canva babyyyyy (what am i doing with my life)
if you're ok with it i'd love to see your own timeline/family trees though !! hand it over /no pressure 🫶
now for the trouble duo, oh boy
Mary
maria maria maria... mixed feelings. don't get me wrong - i have no criticism on her character, she and her role in the story are extremely interesting and nuanced, and of course she's cool and pretty, but i have this automatic turn-off with most characters who are widely popular like she is. and then i came in the fandom and saw the poor girl surrounded by discourse and it made me So Tired without even getting into it 😂 i can't fully check off "everyone else is wrong about them" because i have few thoughts of my own about her and mostly just stick with the homies' takes, i'm in no position to really judge others'
AND GUESS WHAT said homies' takes are making me want to try to get over that initial turn-off !! i'm still thinking about your post about her love for lumenflowers ! it's !! so !!! cute !!!! and it prompted me to see beyond her boss fight's ice-cool persona - it's only a glimpse of her !! there is more !!! so, it's hopefully underway.
Gehrmy
ALMOOOOST DFGHJKLM i've mentionned him becoming a comfort which i blame on my muses (hunter and laurence) ! so yeah, again, Thoughts are underway
... i don't need to expand much on the rest, i fear you know it better than i do 8''') i'd have liked him just fine as the amazing, tragic, not-quite-mentor final boss he is, but seeing all the vitriol automatically made me like him more, especially since a lot of it is of extremely poor faith X) let him rest...

saw the tags on your post about love triangles that shouldn't become polycules but do anyway and realized I hadn't thought of isakainess set up as a v around isagi yet. god that would be such a mess
yeah if they tried any normal relationship stuff including all three of them it'd be so over . could you imagine kaiser asking isagi to ask ness what shades of dye he blended to get the specific shade of blue that matches his tattoo. or it's isagi's birthday and his parents tell him to invite his partners to dinner they're both so nice and they want to see them again. worst family dinner on the planet. could you imagine if isagi wanted to have a nice lunch with both of his boyfriends on his birthday .

Watching "it's a Jersey thing". I am beyond confused and in disbelief as to what prompted Cartman to say that
"Deep down you're a monster, but you're my little monster" line.
My working theory is that part of the reason Cartman hates and constantly rips on Kyle for things about him that he can't inherently change, and why he paints a narrative where he assigns those traits a negative meaning even tho they aren't negative in nature is because he is subconsciously annoyed that there is nothing "naturally" negative about Kyle. Kyle is pretty much a well adjusted kid for the most part, but his negative personality traits do come out a LOT when he is interacting with Cartman, but there's nothing about where he 'comes from' that's negative. He has a happy and healthy family, he knows his dad, his parents have respectable jobs, etc.
As opposed to Cartman, who is deluded about being "naturally big boned" which is something for which he is constantly being ridiculed, as well as his mother being a "crack whore" which is also something that he is constantly being ridiculed for. He can't change who his mother is, (and while he could lose weight) he doesn't really believe that cuz like I said he is deluded by his mother into thinking that that's just how his family is.
So when he finds out Kyle is from new Jersey, he immediately jumps to ripping on him about it. Because it's something that Kyle is just "naturally" that everyone in town actually considers to be a negative trait.
But then, when Kyle actually shows that Jersey side to everyone, and it stops being just a way for Cartman to do his usual thing of assigning negative traits to things Kyle is, even tho for once he actually has ground to rip on Kyle for, Cartman is very chill with him.
Almost like, knowing that deep down inside Kyle actually has that "monster" in him brings comfort to Cartman, because now he feels like Kyle is a bit more similar to him.
The "he's just like me fr" of it all.
Or maybe I'm just reaching for the high heavens with this analysis. Who knows.

literally just putting some pieces together since I feel like a lot of ppl are overlooking things re: lestat
when armand gives his background with lestat, he quite literally says that théâtre des vampires was lestat's idea, but then lestat vanished weeks later. what would make lestat flee from the coven when he is literally responsible for the idea of it?
the horrific fight in 1.05 happens because he's afraid louis and claudia are going to leave. claudia has just mentioned that she wants to find other vampires. lestat warned her prior to the first time she left that the other vampires are "vicious" and "will tear [her] to shreds". if this doesn't make your mind return to the first bullet point, idk what to tell you.
lestat is deeply uncomfortable with being at the trial. compare his performance when armand first finds him in 2.03 to his body language here. he's a lot more restrained with his movements, there are multiple moments where he clearly hesitates to say what's in the coven's script, he has trouble looking at louis throughout the entire thing, and there are times where he looks mad or repulsed with the audience for falling in line with the narrative the coven has created. the first time louis tries to say that lestat is lying, lestat looks shaken and santiago has to telepathically urge him to continue. we see lestat repeatedly going off script -- santiago states it's a story of butchery (the butchery being lestat's "murder") and lestat corrects him, "it's a story of love, not butchery." he chastises an audience member. he steals santiago's line. after telling how he turned claudia, he says that he should also be on trial. after santiago discloses the drop, lestat takes accountability and insists that it was completely his fault and that he was purposefully trying to hurt louis. and lestat's face as he admits this demonstrates that he finds the act repulsive now.
after the coven calls to lestat, let's go through his "options" -- was lestat supposed to find louis + claudia and warn them about the trial? why would they ever listen to his warnings after the abuse he subjected them to? was he supposed to force louis + claudia to leave paris with him? was lestat supposed to hear that they're on trial and be like "no, I am not getting involved in this, I know the trial ends in their execution, and I'm just going to leave them to die"?

My name is Breakdown The Mechanisms. The hell kinda name is that you ask? Well, you see, where I come from, Farm Planet, your first name is what you do and your second name is what you like. So I’m called Breakdown, on account of my occasional mental breakdowns and meltdowns, and The Mechanisms, ‘cause I love ‘em.
