ok you asked about my sad fish boy i hope u know how much of a mistake that is. holy shit. dude jrwi is so fucking good. if u need a new dnd podcast may i please recommend jrwi..theyre pirates. ohhh my god theyre pirates .

so. uhm. fish boy. his name is gillion tidestrider (champion of the undersea, hero of the deep, etc etc about a billion more titles that he just keeps aquiring as the campaign goes on) and hes a paladin with ohhhhh so much of a hero complex. oh my god. dude. hes so . everything to me . (played by charlie slimecicle btw. that guy is so fucking good at balancing silly goofy moments with heartwrenching voice acting. in one of the most recent episodes he is literally. hanging from a hook through his hands missing chunks of skin on 1hp literally only alive because he happened to cast death ward on himself. and hes wearing those goddamn trout fish sandals that u see on facebook ads or whatever.)

uhm. so. holy shit. where do i even start. he is the chosen one of a prophecy that says its his duty to one day choose who will survive between the undersea (triton, underwater creatures, where he grew up) and the oversea (basically. land.) and the other will be destroyed. so when he was very young (i want to say maybe like..5 or 6? i dont remember im actually searching for that info rn for the thing im writing) he was taken away from his family to begin training with the Elders (basically the. rulers of the undersea) . my boy he was raised to be a weapon. he was raised to be a tool (<< real canon words out of his own mouth). my favorite little child soldier. he wore armor that was too big for him and carried swords that were taller than he was. he was raised to put protecting others over his own safety so he rushes out into danger without even thinking about how it might affect him. he is so passively suicidal and ready to sacrifice himself at any minor inconvenience that when this information is eventually put in front of him his response is "what? no, thats what im Supposed to do." a very important phrase for him in early episodes was "whats one more burden?"

also he has a pet frogtopus (frog + octopus) her name is pretzel and she rides around in a little orb on his belt and also on his shoulders sometimes. i love her

uhnmmm what else. im so insane about the tidestrider siblings forever. do not get me wrong the other PCs in this campaign are also excellent and i love them (Jay is the daughter of a navy captain who defected to join a pirate crew to figure out what caused the death of her older sister. Chip is. oh boy. orphan who was taken in by a pirate crew when he was 7. pirate crew in question was swallowed by some sort of magic force that corrupted literally a fourth of the globe. but he somehow survived and is now trying to find out if his old family is still alive. jay and chip are like adopted siblings to me. chip and gillion had to roll a performance check for a kiss one time and they both got nat 20s and its all gone downhill from there for them. i love jay and chip dearly but something abojt gillion just scratches a very specific itch in my brain i love him so much and its only partially because hes a fish and im the fish guy.) ALSO I FORGOT TO MENTION GILLION IS CANONICALLY ASEXUAL and this is a fact that actually has come up within canon and is not just a word of god twitter mention fact. no. my boy is actively asexual and it makes me soooooo happy forever.

it's 12:38 am im on the tkuelt and im so tired i need to sleep, i have a huge problem wit staying up too late. i always go on my phone too long or start drawing and i dont let myself stop draieng u til the deawing is finished. i used to wake up at 12 everyday w an alarm but ive started waking up esrlier, dont get me wrong i like it because i get more daylight and i feel like i have more time to do thifns but i'm actually so tired. like i'm eepy all the time because i usually need like 9-10 hours of sleep to feel well rested and now im getting up eith like 7-8, which is a normal amount of sleep but i kust dont feel like im getting enoguh rest. the deaiwnf thing is another tbing, i get random motivation to draw ar night and i always stay up until 7 am drawing for no reason. i can never finish an art piece or polish one to amke it look good,, i made some valentiens drawings tht im gonna post for valentines day but sshh dont tell anyone🤫 im also probably gona write some stuff for valentiens day like omori stuff. and mayhaps more drawings,, who knwos. but anyways i played a lot of overwtahc eith my friende tosay and it was fun, my thiat hurts and im geberally very tired . i tried to make bjt artworks but i gaveup and i made cute little things instead, i sipsoe i ahve ro take baby steps🤕🤕🤕

per my last insane rambling, I've gotten confirmation that those posts I'd see people on my dash revloggibg of someone yelling about beasts is in fact part of the gorp arg

This one's interesting because it's the most reliable source I have into the gorp arg and I do not understand it at all

So threads birthday is on the release date of the half life mod that was the original version of the stanley parable. Which made me think again, au with different charactersfilling in these roles after somethinghappened to the original cast, but this was before disproven.

Thread is conflicted between being just the settings mf and having. yknow. Feelings And Shit. Also there's a hatred for Nelson I think? maybe. Idk the impression bit and the Sam akon info gathering made it hard to tell what emotion was brought forth from Nelsom but I think it's hatred. Idk I thought the impression bit was like. Old LA was superior in form but only subjectively so, they were p neck and neck depending on personal taste

New LA is a fucking disaster of a city design the few suggestions of it being a city at all are shoved in the corner like so much secondary shit

All it focuses on is showing off ooooooh look I made giant sea creatures let's make them central to FUCKING EVERUHTING

The level of detail is literally like 2% of what old la boasted

Old LA had verticality it had actual fucking buildings instead of giant sea monsters sitting in a concrete wasteland peppered with gardens

Even in terms of function old la was arguably more functional!! New LA is more structurally sound but for WHAT STRUCTURES?????

Old LA had actual functional buildings it was clearly a place where people lived and worked it felt like a CITY

New la in contrast feels like a theme park and there's so much empty useless space and the only sign anyone LIVES there is off in the corners

The old town square sort of area was like ONE point of interest

Now it's like 80% of the city

OH THE CENTER OF THE CITH IS ABOJT ALL THE CITY THERE IS JUST BRILLIANT

Yes it's structurally sound cuz fucking concrete but what's that fucking concrete even protecting???

The fucking giant lobster with a couple of crates sitting on it?

The maps are ALREADY SMALL in gw2 everyone knows that so why are you gonna take this already tiny map and fucking scatter like four buildings for 80% of it???

It's a fucking prissy art gallery for some assholes half dozen pretty sculptures with plenty of space around so you can walk around them and properly admire their handiwork

If youre going to fucking destroy one of the best city designs in the game, at least do it the justice of designing something equal or better to replace it

PUSH BACK YOUR PRECIOUS SCARLET BRIAR STORYLINE TILL YOU'RE ACTUALLY READY TO HANDLE IT RESPONSIBLY

You can't fucking sacrifice a quality piece of  work from the base game for some shoddy one-off event it's not okay it actively lowers the overall quality of the game if only by a little bit

And yes they have since added other stuff so they've "made up' for it with more content

But that fucking EYESORE of a replacement city is STILL THERE

If you're gonna do this whole thing about how lion's arch is a strong city and it always comes back you gotta, you know, BRING IT BACK

We lost a city and we got a fucking theme park with no room to live in

That's not rebuilding a city that won't die, that's replacing it with the consortium's trash and I bet they charge common citizens to use their facilities >:(

It's not a tapestry of living beings like LA is supposed to be, it's one freaking artist's hard on given form like DOES ANYONE REALIZR THE CONTRAST HERE

On my old blogs I would deconstruct who framed roger rabbit, sponfebob, and ren and stimpy specifically (along with some newer and shittier shows, and a lot of horrible 80s ones) bc I was very into the production history of IPs I loved!
