anyone else notice a trend with characters who have skull faces suddenly getting new designs that don't quite look as scary/good?

like Reaper's new default in Overwatch 2 just looks off to me. idk if it's the fact that the mask looks almost like plastic and no longer look like a skull in texture and color. I think that in trying to make the design look more clean and sleek, they lost the gritty edginess that made the original look so good.

also let's not even talk about whatever the fuck revenant reborn has going on, fucking buckteeth headass

idk if this is a hot take or w/e but as much as i am enjoying NPMD, i have a deep..... dislike for that ending. idk if i've just gotten too used to the downer endings in literally everything else hatchetfield related but like.... that almost seemed far too much like the ending of some disney movie -- which i think is exactly what they were going for because the song itself definitely sounds like the ending song in one of those movies so like, i think that's what they were trying to do but i just.... i hate it. and yeah, Grace starts doing her Grace stuff but like... its more of a one-off joke than actually important (but i'll be one hundred percent honest, other than when the digital ticket came out, i've only seen the ending twice, and one of those times i turned it off halfway through Best of You because it was far too saccharine for my tastes and i thought the show was over.)

Maybe I need to watch it a few more times. There are parts that I genuinely love like The Summoning. I've gone back and rewatched just that part like three or four times now because I think my favorite Jon role is absolutely Wiggly. Fucking. Transcendent. And Kim and her lollipop.... goddamn 🥵

but like, i wish there had been more with Peter and Ted even though I'm very very very very very very aware of why that absolutely would not work 😂 but like, other than Abstinence Camp, there's nothing that I'm super aware of that has anything with the two brothers and that... that sucks.

I want to like the show so bad, we waited for so long for it and everyone on my feed is loving it and I'm so so so happy that people are finding joy in the show but I feel like I'm just sitting here with my downer opinions and no one to tell them to because I don't wanna doo-doo on people's enjoyment. I'm just so frustrated. 😓

I feel like we all had those flash games that had us in a death grip when we were younger. for me, it was Haunt the House. Vulpin Adventure was also a really good one, I remember grinding for hours to get the rare enemy drops from the beach/water area because they looked cool when you equipped them

I even considered make Callem be the one taking the lead, but then i would had to write AAAAAAALL the special, incluying the cartoon part, and i HAD ALREADY RENDER THOSE, 'M NOT LOOSING THEM

'm this > < close to send love to hell and start chapter 3 with this two in a unclear situation BUT i also don't want to make that 'cause theres ONE, REALLY SPECIFIC DETAIL i need to show in the special that gonna be important in the chapter ('cause yes, the special IS canon, but happens before the christmas special).

So, gonna take some days to figure shit, wouldn't come to my aunt house to use internet to try to keep my mind full on the idea and don't get distracted ('cause yeah, youtube is one of the first to blame in procrastination).
