moira doesn't really see the point of love at first. she knows why people get into relationships, but she doesn't picture one for herself until you come into the picture

i picture you falling first and her falling 20x harder. you express interest in her work— real, genuine interest— and it means more to her than she could ever put into words

she finds you captivating and you already have her respect by the time you join her side. you're intelligent and capable and its more than she could ask for, to be honest

you'll have to ask her out first. it's not that she's nervous to do it, she just doesn't know how to without it seeming incredibly out of character

she's actually a very loving girlfriend. she's very protective of you and makes sure she's always by your side whenever you're in danger

Jesse

This is one of the only things that could make Jesse take more time off work. He wants to be with you as often as he can during your pregnancy, helping you around the house and taking care of you. He will still leave for his business trips, but he checks in with you more often and always reminds you that if you ever need anything he will come home to you without hesitation.

He's very proud of himself. First, he scored an incredible partner like you, and now you're carrying his baby! He truly thinks he's the luckiest man in the world, and he wants everyone to know it. He becomes extra handsy when the two of you are in public, always having an arm wrapped around your waist or a hand on your knee. His possessiveness is through the roof; you're his and he wants everyone to know it.

If you thought he spoiled you before... Jesse is so excited to take you out to get a whole new maternity wardrobe. And it's not just you that he's spoiling, but your unborn child as well. You jokingly tell Jesse that if he buys anymore toys your house is going to look like a toy store. You're child is going to have the best and most expensive everything. You dread to imagine what Jesse will be like during your child's first birthday.

Jason

Jason is both nervous and overjoyed when you tell him you're pregnant. On one hand, he loves you and the thought of starting a happy little family with you thrills him. On the other hand, he doesn't know the first thing about taking care of a child, and part of him worries that he won't be a good father. Your child will never have a normal life with him as a father, but you assure him that giving your child a happy life is what's important, and Jason promises to give you and his child the happiest life he can.

He goes into a DIY frenzy. There isn't exactly a department store nearby to buy nursery furniture, and you guys aren't exactly rich so... Time to improvise! Luckily, Jason is fairly adept at building, having had to make multiple repairs to the cabin and furniture inside of it in the past. Jason will quickly get to work making whatever your baby may need! Highchair, basinet, even little wood block toys and a mobile with little wooden animals! It warms your heart to see Jason work tirelessly to ensure your child will have whatever they need.

He is going to fuss over you relentlessly. Jason always treated you like you were fragile since well, most people are in comparison to him, but he practically treats you like you're made of glass while you're pregnant. You constantly have to reassure him that 'Yes, Jason, you can hug me back when I hug you; I'm not going to break.' and 'No, Jason, it's not going to hurt me to lay on my front'.

Bubba

Bubba is so excited to have a new addition to the Sawyer family! He immediately takes you to tell his brothers the good news, to mixed reactions (Cue Drayton, "Just what I need! Another mouth to feed in this damn house!"). Bubba is going to be giddy for weeks after you tell him you're pregnant. The slightest reminder that he's going to be a father will have him squealing in delight and bouncing up and down.

He tries extra hard to keep you away from any of the violence and fighting that takes place in the household. The last thing he wants is you getting stressed out when you're already under so much strain physically. His brothers actually get pretty good about not screaming at each other when you're in the room, lest they find themselves with a rare furious Bubba glaring daggers at them.

Bubba is in utter awe of you and what your body is capable of. He'll sit with his hands on your stomach, silent and still as a rock, until he feels your baby kick. That sets him off in a fit of overjoyed giggling and babbling, him dancing around the room and hugging you into a tight embrace. It is beyond adorable to see him so excited to have a baby with you. He used to never thought he would be a father, and now that he's going to be one, he couldn't be happier.

Synopsis: while hanging out at Midori's place, he "accidentally" spills his water on you, soaking you to the bone. Midori insisted on lending his jacket for the time, much to your boyfriend, Shin's dismay. Will Shin let his friend's motives stand or will he speak up and take care of you himself?

A/n: hey yall! So I really wanted to write at least one fluff fic for our best boy Shin! Midori will be mentioned as Hiyori and our Sou as Shin to avoid confusion. Hope you guys enjoy this! Let's get started!

You were never really invited to Hiyori's place.

In fact, You haven't even met the man. Only finding out about him during one of Shin's rambles.

Your boyfriend, Shin tended to spend a big portion of his time at this man's place. It wasn't as if you minded. he made sure to spend time with you too. You asked if you could accompany him once or twice but Shin would always answer the same thing.

"Hiyori doesn't like strangers in our space."

You would tell him that it was okay and that would be the end of the conversation. Well, Until today.

"what did you think of the book I lent you?" you asked with a smile, your pinkies linked together as you walked down the street. You were just coming back from your date at a local diner.

"well, I've just started it," Shin replied, scratching the back of his neck. "but the main character seems really interesting. He kind of reminds me of you."

"oh? How so?"

"the protagonist is very pushy, just like you." he brought his free hand to your cheek and pinched it teasingly.

You tried to pull away with a whine only for you to stumble back and bump into someone. You were about to bow down and apologize when you realized who exactly you bumped into.

"shin!" Hiyori greeted excitedly, dropping his arm on your boyfriend's shoulders and forcefully ruffling his hair from under his green beanie. "I was looking everywhere! I found this new game and-" Hiyori paused, following Shin's distracted gaze. Hiyori's gaze landed on your figure. The green-haired man smiled smugly. "hello. You must be the (y/n) I've been hearing so much about." he stretched his hand out for you to shake, keeping Shin from interfering with the other. "Sou hiyori, in the flesh."

"(y/n) (l/n), shin's girlfriend." you introduced yourself, taking hiyori's hand and shaking it. Shin was finally able to break out of his friend's grip, rushing to your side and pulling you back anxiously. He was uncomfortable, to say the least.

"sorry hiyori, we're kind of in the middle of something-" Shin tried to say, attempting to pull you back the way you came.

Hiyori pouted, stomping his feet childishly. "but the game… I thought we were gonna play together…"

"you guys could play. I don't mind." you quickly reassured the two, nudging Shin in his friend's direction. Hiyori's eyes lit up in delight. Shin, on the other hand, wasn't convinced.

"but our date-"

"(y/n) can hang out at our place, you know. You won't lose sight of her." Hiyori said, placing his hands back on Shin's shoulders. He eyed you over Shin's beanie, his eyes oddly luring you in to accept his invite. You didn’t see a reason to say no.

You smiled and took Shin's quivering hand.

"well, what are we waiting for?"

The place was surprisingly nice.

It was very tidy and clean. Every monitor looked very expensive and well taken care of. The view was also something to behold. You dragged a seat to the window while the other two were settling in. you sat there and admired the view.

While you wanted to enjoy the wonderful sight. you couldn't fully savor it. It felt like someone was watching your every move. Every time you looked back, Shin was occupied with something else, leaving you to suspect the only other person in the room, Hiyori.

You were about to get up and whisper your concerns to Shin when you felt something cool splash onto you. You yelped, stepping back to see Hiyori trying to balance himself on his desk while he gripped a now empty glass of water.

"I am so sorry, I lost my balance!" Hiyori bowed, though his apology didn't seem genuine. It felt controlled as if he intended to do it in the first place. An uncomfortable feeling began to twist in your gut.

the scene made shin look up from his work and shoot up in worry. he watched as Hiyori took off his jacket and offered it to you. "here, wear this. It's the least I could do."

You were about to accept when you felt something heavy drop onto your shoulders. It was the familiar purple jacket. You looked back to see shin behind you. The shine in his eyes were dulled. Was he… jealous?

"actually, hiyori, I'm going to take (y/n) home… we don't have any extra clothes. it's getting late anyway." Shin said, quickly leading you out the door. With one last goodbye, he closes the door behind you and began to pull you to the exit.

He walked ahead of you, glancing back every few seconds to see if you were still uncomfortable. You couldn't help but smirk when you noticed the blush on his face.

"you were jealous," you said as if it were a fact. shin's blush darkened, almost unable to deny your claims.

"no, I'm not."

"Really?" you raised your brow teasingly. He sighed in defeat.

"what if I am?"

"aww… poor baby~" you cooed, pulling him back to squish his cheeks together. Shin lightly tried to push you away but you both knew he was too weak to do that. He resorted to pouting dejectedly at you. Not long after, you pulled away, this time taking the lead and led him to the direction of your place.

You felt him shiver when a cool breeze blew through the streets. He wasn't built to handle the cold. "I lent you my jacket. You owe me cuddles."

"Okay, sir, your wish is my command."

He was smothered with cuddles as soon as you got home.

I think this is one of my favorite Monet paintings, the color match alone is just so gorgeous. He manages to point out the feeling of the wind above the girl in the painting (as well as his wife). That feeling of a "veil"(wind) that distances the two of you, I think it can be considered as the first "obstacle" for your relationship, as Koko has not yet managed to overcome Akane's death easily.

But at the same time, the child behind (the son), I believe is proof that your relationship has worked <3

It’s that time of the month, she can tell by the way your shoulders slouch and the depressed look on your face. 

Doesn’t think twice about rushing to your side, shoving food at your face as she hugs you. Yes, it's uncomfortable because she shoved an entire onigiri in your face then immediately hugged your shoulders. 

At home she’ll pull you between her legs and rub your stomach, she probably has one of those stuffed animal heating things. 

If you start feeling/having gender dysphoria during your period, she’ll start kissing your face all over while whispering she loves you over and over again. 

WATARI

Gender dysphoria, biggest enemy in my eyes. 

He’s concerned right off the bat, he noticed the way your behavior changed the moment your ears picked up on murmurs about your outfit. He doesn’t understand why people bother talking about clothes, clothes have no gender so why is everyone talking about you? 

He’ll pull you away from everyone and hug you under a tree, rubbing your back to calm you down. “I don’t get it Shinji, do people just- do they still see me as a girl?” His heart breaks at your tone, you sound so defeated. 

He’ll tell you to ignore them but he knows it's hard to. Tells you everyday he loves you and that he’ll be there for you always. Though if there were a crowd of people saying things and he’s feeling bold, he’ll press his hands against your ears and kiss you in front of everyone. 

DAISHOU

Starting T, scary.

Whether it’s the injection, patch, or gel, daishou is there to help. While he won’t be doing it for you he’ll hold your hand the entire time you do it, if you do the injection he’ll ignore the strong grip you have that nearly breaks his hand. (me bye.)

During the physical and mental tests you’d have to take beforehand, he’ll be the one taking you, of course unless you start this before you’re 18, he’ll tag along.

He’d take process photos for you so that once there’s a significant change, you two can watch how far you’ve grown together. 

DAICHI

Top surgery. Gosh so expensive…

He’d take you there if you ask him, though if you ask your legal guardian he’ll just tag along and hold your hand whispering you’re gonna do great. 

After the procedure he’d tell you you did so well, and if you start crying he’s kissing your tears away. He’ll take care of you so well but he’d sleep on the floor because he’s scared he might make you uncomfortable or touch your wounds too soon.

The first time you take off your shirt so freely, he almost cries at the way you smile. Pulls you by the waist to kiss your scars and lets a few tears slip from his eyes. 

SUNA

Wearing a binder, comfortable yet also uncomfortable!

When you first get it he’s sitting on the bathroom counter as you put it on, cackling loudly once you look at yourself in the mirror. (me)

He’s reading the instruction card that came with it and he may or may not have stolen the sticker too but besides the point. “Work on better posture.” Cackling stops and you just blink at him, “Rin, if i have to work on my posture so do you!” 

If you’re forgetful don’t remember to take breaks, he’s calling you to scream at you for not remembering. Suna, be my personal reminder. 

IWAIZUMI

TransTape. 

He looked into another option for you, if you didn’t necessarily feel comfortable with a binder and found it. He read through everything, warnings, reviews, how it began, nearly emailed the founder too. 

He’d help you put it on, asking if it felt okay, if you were fine and if anything was bothering you, all of that. Supportive all the way through. When taking it off he read that it could hurt, so if you need to hold his arm or something he won't mind the death grip.

His heart swells when you get out of the shower with a grin in just his sweatpants, not even missing the sight of you in his shirts. 

KITA

The haircut. 

Now if your hair was already short to begin with (pixie, bob, shoulders.) but you wanted it shorter, he just flat out says, “why not shave your head.” But if you have long hair, he asks if he can cut some of it before you go somewhere professional. 

He’s supportive, everyone is. If you get it without him knowing and show up to his house or school with your hair shorter or in a “typical men's haircut” he’ll suppress that feeling of wanting to jump on you. (ik in Japan it's normal for women to have short hair shh.)

I know he’s stoic most of the time but he’s a big goofball, at home he’d keep trying to use an absurd amount of hair gel to give you a mohawk. 

YAMAGATA

The tuxedo. As you can see I've run out of ideas.

Listen, the first time you brought up going to mens warehouse to get fitted for a tux, he’s been drooling. 

Tugs you to the store and keeps shaking his head at the suits you’ve tried on, babe, just tell them you want them to wear an all black suit. He does. 

Will get on his knees when he sees you, probably makes a red carpet from construction paper. 

MIKA

Gender Envy. Ha, i forgot about this one. (i switched tabs to go to crunchyroll and miyuki chose violence)

Anyways, You two are watching some show, anime, attack on titan because i make the rules, howl’s moving castle if you relate. Boom that one guy comes on and she’s whipping her head to you wondering why you’re crying.

“I wanna look like him so bad it hurts.” Pulls you into her chest, and just tells you you’ll be okay, she doesn’t know how to react in these situations, but she’ll look up on what you’re feeling and try to help in any way she can.

Will buy you a wig, actually, she’ll make you an entire cosplay dedicated to that character but it's so spot on. Screaming when you start crying and ruin the makeup she spent so much time on. Cries with you.

BOKUTO

Coming out to him. 

At first he won’t understand why your hands are shaking so much when you sit him  down to talk. Then he just starts getting worried you’re going to break up with him which makes the situation so much worse in your head. 

And when you tell him you’re non-binary/gender non-comforming/transgender/etc. He lets out a breath because he thought it’d be a break up. Quickly regains his composure to hug you tightly and reassure you he loves you and every aspect of you and that he’ll be your number one supporter. 

Makes sure everyone knows your new pronouns, new name, if you’re okay with it. Fends off people who try to criticize you for making a big decision like that, doesn’t hesitate to tell them he wants to spike a volleyball in their face for that comment.

SAKUSA

Change of name. 

Another person whose initial thought is that you’re going to break up with him and is relieved when not. At first he didn’t understand why you were so hesitant to tell him but then he remembers that something like that isn’t easy at all. 

Corrects anyone and everyone when they get your name wrong, so ready to defend you. He’ll hesitate to throw hands but if someone is still trying to pick on you, he’ll provoke them enough so they throw the first swing, then use the self-defense excuse. (go omi omi!)

If you decide to change your name again, he’ll do the same thing all over again. He knows it isn’t easy to choose one so if you’re indecisive he’ll test with you. 

MATSUKAWA

Pronoun change.

You’re just in his room, laying on his bed when you bring it up. “Issei, can you refer to me with they/them pronouns?” his head just whips over to you but he tries to calm himself and says yes. 

If you continue to question it and go from she/her to she/they, he’ll stare down anyone who gets it wrong. When you finally go to they/them, he corrects people when they’re wrong, doesn’t matter if they’re still talking, you can hear his monotone voice just saying “they.” while they’re talking. 

Always says that comment that's pretty popular. “Their pronouns are they/them but i wanna be they/theirs”

Hey! I heard some humors that sjm confirmed elriel being endgame and I just want a little reassurance that it's not true. I've been a part of this fandom for over 3 years and during all this time, I've never wanted Elain and Azriel together (because I have... you know... taste. And y'all may quote me on that). But mainly because Az has always been my favorite character and I really want him with someone strong, who can protect herself and protect him, when needed. Now, I haven't read acosf yet, but I know about a lot of spoilers (only the ones concerning Gwyn and Az) and I know for sure that person is Gwyn. It's not that I don't like Elain, I actually do, but I can't stand the thought of her ending up with someone who would overprotect her and coddle her like her family has been doing all her life. I want her with someone who can bring out the fire in her, and the only one who can do that is Lucien. Before all this ship war, I was open to changing my mind about elriel. I mean, if sjm could write them in a way of making their relationship seem interesting, I'd totally be down for that. But then I met some elriels and experienced first hand how it feels to be on the receiving end of their hate and bullying. Now I can't stand the thought of Az and Elain being endgame. I feel like I'd be gagging throughout the whole book, remembering how those bullies won, even after doing everything that they do. I don't want to generalize about all elriels being the same, but I'd say about 75% of the ones I've met are toxic like that. I guess you can say they've completely ruined the ship for me (a ship I didn't even like all that much at the beginning).

I'm sorry about the ranting, I just want some reassurance that this nightmare of a ship won't be the cause of me leaving the fandom.

The rumors are likely started by the same children that plague this fandom.

Sarah has literally confirmed nothing. Based on the things she’s said, it can be deduced that Azriel is getting his own book and Elain will (obviously) get her own book. Sarah has said we will learn about Azriel’s shadows when his story is told which can mean he’s getting his own story. ACOSF seemed to give many indicators that we’re going to be learning much more about him, especially with that POV. 

Unlike Cassian’s POV in ACOFAS and the sneak peek for ACOSF, which tied with Nesta and Nesta’s journey. Azriel’s POV was not like that. It started with the uncomfortable interaction with Elain (I’m sorry there’s nothing romantic about it — literally nothing) and then ending with him feeling better after seeing Gwyn. From this, based on the way Sarah seems to write her stories, it would make sense to believe that Azriel’s story ties in with the Valkyries that he spent so much time with, the Illyrian issues that were brushed over, and Gwyn as a potential love interest (which may or may not happen but seems likely). 

Narratively, it makes sense to have Azriel’s book next, a Mor novella (because come on Sarah, what the fuck is our gal up to?), and to wrap up with Elain and the overarching plot with Vassa. The ACOTAR series started with an Archeron sister and it makes sense to me that it ends with an Archeron sister. 

I’m pretty sure the immature assholes on that side of the fandom did nothing but push people away from their ship so bad lmao. You’re not alone in the way you’re feeling, I can assure you XDDD. In the meantime, I would ignore it and happily ship who makes you happy.  Yaz @yazthebookish also has a lot of great posts about theories for the next books that make sense. I shove the doubt aside because I can’t see how Sarah could make them endgame at the expense of other characters? Sarah clearly cares about all her character stories. It just wouldn’t make sense.  If you need to kill off/shove aside other important characters to make a doomed ship work...is it worth it? Again, this is all speculation because until Sarah gives us a confirmation, we won’t know anything for sure!

As anyone who follows me knows, I've been particularly active when it comes to defending Scott McCall on Teen Wolf recently, because we've had a lot of anons (one anon on repeat) harassing us. It made me more familiar with those who are just hellbent on taking Scott and casting him in the absolute worst possible light at every opportunity.

As such, occasionally, I'll find myself venturing behind enemy lines to see what nonsense they're spouting now out of a sense of morbid curiosity.

And boy did I find some doozies this time around.

For example:

This is why this post is titled Context, because its something that these people conveniently leave out when they try to woobify certain characters and demonize others.

Take this one - every line written down there is taken out-of-context. If people actually watched the show, they'd know that Derek was living in the burned out shell of his family home by his own choice. We found out later that he had a hell of a lot of money, enough to by entire building. Hell, there were even clues before that, in the fact that he drove around in an expensive muscle car and clearly had enough cash to replace a shattered window on said car in a relatively short period of time. Derek lived in squalor (first the mansion and then the train station) by choice, which is entirely apparent if one would just watch the show.

And then there's the attempt to deflect by bringing up Derek's trauma, hoping that people won't pay attention to all the horrible things Derek did in the first two seasons. These people straight up switch the definitions of Excuse and Explain in an attempt to make Derek's actions, particularly toward Scott and Stiles seem either not that bad, or weirdly enough, romantic (in the case of Stiles). They like to pretend that the horrible things that Derek went through (which explain his behavior) give him free reign to do whatever he wants, particularly when it comes to assaulting Scott (them trying to excuse his behavior.)

They wave Derek's trauma, being sexually assaulted and manipulated by Kate Argent who used him so that she could murder his family as an excuse for him to assault teenagers new to this world, breaking-and-entering, attempted murder (more than once) and actual murder. This is even more disturbing when you remember that the same people who love to troy out what Kate did to him when he was a teenager love to ship Derek as an adult with Stiles, who is a teenager. The irony is so thick you could choke on it.

Derek may have had one of the most fulfilling arcs on this show, but just because he finally stopped trying so hard to be something he wasn't and learned to let go, doesn't absolve him of the things he did in earlier seasons. Was he a hero by the end of the show? Yes, but he wasn't always. His first two seasons were him being one of the antagonists to being more akin to an actual villain (not the main villain, but still a villain - or anti-villain) in the second season.

And then we have this gem:

Once again, every aspect of context from the show is removed from these sentences to make Scott look like the worst thing since the plague.

Without context this just paints Scott as some warmongering asshole who goes around picking up random teenager shapeshifters and inducting them into his personal war.

With context, we know that Scott saved that kid, Alec, from Tamora and her hunters after they'd already killed all of his friends/pack. Scott didn't just pick Alec and say "hey, you're a werewolf and these hunters are after you so you have to join me or else." He invited Alec to join them in stopping the hunters with full knowledge of what he would be getting into. Not at all Derek's recruitment of Isaac, Erica and Boyd, where he preyed on them at their most vulnerable and gave them the most vague idea of what they'd be getting into. You need further proof of that? How about the fact that Derek's whole pack left him because they didn't sign up to be foot soldiers in his personal vendetta. Erica and Boyd straight up left after saying that Derek lied to them about what they'd be getting into and Isaac went and joined Scott's pack, because Scott actually cared about those in his pack.

Scott never asked any of his friends, his pack, to fight for him. Hell, in season four, during the whole deadpool hitlist plot, when Liam was too scared to get involved any more, Scott reassured him that it was okay and that he didn't think any less of him. And when Liam did get involved, that's because it was his choice. Scott didn't order him to fight, Liam chose to because it was the right thing to do. This is in direct contrast to Derek ordering his betas to kill Lydia on nothing more than his own suspicions and lack of knowledge about his own world.

Its also another blatant use of their double-standards when it comes to Scott. For the entire run of the show, these people have complained ad nauseum about how Scott didn't do anything. He was too nice and let the villains off without any consequences (he didn't, but they don't care about that), and yet here, in the finale, we have him finally taking the fight to the people coming after him, and suddenly its a bad thing.

Am I the only one that's confused by that logic?

What makes it worse is the fact that they're comparing Scott and Derek at two very different points in their lives and trying to paint Scott as comparable to Derek at his worst (kudos to them for admitting Derek was bad). Once again, with context, we know that the two situations are completely different, no matter how similar they may look. Derek went actively recruiting child soldiers, turning them into werewolves to fight in his war against Gerard and the hunters. Scott only ever bit two people, and one of them was an accident. Everyone that joined his fight was already a werewolf (or shapeshifter of some kind). Scott didn't turn any of them. He found Alec (and I'm assuming others) and offered him the chance to fight back against people who were actively hunting him. Isaac, Erica and Boyd weren't in any danger from the hunters until after Derek recruited them. On the surface, these two situations look very similar, but with context, they're not even remotely the same.

Context is everything. Without it, people can make whatever statement they like, but it doesn't change the truth of what actually happened. All it takes is for someone to actually watch the show to see how things actually went down.
