vitamin B6 deficiency, PART 2

numb hands or feet: the culprit to tingling fingers/numb feet may be a disorder called peripheral neuropathy, which can be triggered by b6 deficiency. b6 & other B vitamins like B12 are essential to keeping healthy nerves.

cranky baby: a fussy baby could be trying to tell you they’re low on B6. this can happen if you feed your infant nothing but breast milk for more than 6 months. too little of b6 can even lead to seizures. it can also make the baby’s hearing extra sensitive so that noises can easily upset them.

morning sickness: moms-to-be need vitamin B6 more than anyone else. if you’re feeling sick with nausea or vomiting (and not just in the mornings), a B6 supplement may help (but you should only take it with your dr’s guidance).

foggy brain: b6 helps regulate mood & memory. if you notice feeling confused or sad, especially if you’re a senior, b6 deficiency could be why. it may make you likely more depressed after a stroke, fractured hip, or other major illnesses.

B6 runs in tandem with other B vitamins. If you run low, it may slow your mental abilities.

my brother, a most pretentious lotr fan, snatched up the extended edition hot off the shelf and for weeks it was the only thing on the tv all day long. I've seen every commentary, every special feature . . . twice. maybe more. I didn't have a choice.

#a butterfly obsesses #I've forgotten so much but still #maybe I just don't hang out with nerdy enough people and the rest of you know all this but:#billy boyd every time Minas Tirith is on the screen: I love Minas Tirith #Dominic Monaghan: shut. up.#sean austin forgot to put his waistcoat on for the scene where they all say farewell to frodo so they had to reshoot the whole thing #everybody had to cry again. but the second recording ended up blurry and they had to reshoot a 3rd time. nobody was happy with sean #when sam shows up to fight shelob his hand and sheathed sword appear first like the start of a duel in a western #that's actually peter jackson's hand #sean austin could 'see' shelob when they were filming those scenes. he could very vividly imagine her.#after he saw some cgi test footage of her he lost the ability to imagine her and had to work to get it back #dominic or billy I forget but one stole a skull from the scenes with the army of the dead #after pirates of the Caribbean came out they had to change the design for the army of the dead because the ghost designs were too similar #they built a huge dead Oliphaunt for the battlefield (peter wanted it to be bigger tho)#the people linking up plastic rings for the chain mail wore away their fingerprints on their pointer fingers and thumbs #they basically thawed a frozen stream so andy serkis could dive in and chase a fish in the ice-cold water #I want to say it was billy boyd who had to get a dental procedure done and opted to do with without being numbed #because he had to shoot a scene right after. however he sweated so much his hobbit feet came off #by the time they were put back on the medication would have worn off anyway #viggo mortensen got part of a front tooth chipped off and wanted to finish the scene before having it fixed but they forced him to go #when auditioning horses for the scene the horse kneels down to let the wounded aragorn get on a horse was disqualified for sit on the dummy #the HUGE ring they used for perspective shots

got a shower and saw the face of god in the drain while i was washing my hair. i asked him why did he forsaken us and he replied who said he was ever there. then i got stupid shampoo in my eye and startin crying and shit and he wasn't there after i wiped my eyes. maybe he never was there in the first place. my shampoo smells like strawberries btw.

In the last 36 hours I’ve slipped and fallen on the stairs not once but TWICE. Last night I only skidded down three steps and dinged my feet. Friday night I slid all he way down the whole flight on my back and my whole body still hurts from that. This isn’t counting the several times I’ve tripped going UP stairs.

Stairs and I don’t mix well.

But we like the house, we don’t want to move, the whole upstairs is great, the view is great, it’s almost paid for. This is where I’m staying.

I think it may be time to look into a home elevator.

i didn't think i could get any more useless and my ocd really said "bet"

#i can't just do things #it took me over an hour to get from the bathroom to our bedroom and its less than 10 steps away for a normal person #less than 8 #it is right fucking there #my feet went numb #today was the worst day yet since things started going south and that's impressive in the worst way #everything is a ritual or has a ritual and i havent even attempted my homework for exposure therapy #i had lots of rituals and rules and shit before 2023 - it was constant - but in a way where my brain was nonstop but i at least had some #kind of... idk.. not control but it had periods of time where it was more tolerable?? calmer??#i have not known peace in months #mentally but also physically #i feel like screaming and crying and ripping my hair out and clawing my skin off and-#i had more i was gonna say but i literally cant #maison speaks

people trying to "I told you so" me about getting flu + covid shots at the same time and ending up with neuropathy days later is so damn annoying. this is a RARE reaction! it doesn't usually happen, which is why they call it rare!

being chronically ill fucking sucks man how am i supposed to live the rest of my life like this

#rant #on top of that i have severe issues w socialising #as in. i cannot talk to people for more than an hour at time otherwise i start feeling physically ill #i have a very low tolerance for that #so man how am i supposed to like. work #i had to get up to open the front door for my father today and by the time i reached the door i was already panting #(i was laying down before that)#i have uni + internship on mon and tuesdays and by the end of the day i cant feel my face. literally.#my cheeks are numb. my feet are numb and hurting. every inch of my body hurts all the time. my hands don’t move properly #my blood sucks!! my nerves suck!! my brain sucks!!!#not even sleeping makes things better. my muscle tone is sooo bad that i wake up w/ everything hurting even more!!! what!!!!!!!#how am i supposed to go on like this for more like idk 50 years? if i’m lucky #every day and again and again and again and again and again #i’m not going to type out what i think of doing when i imagine a life like this but it’s not good!!!!!!

it’s come to my attention that my hands are abnormally cold, to the point that whenever i touch someone every time without fail they comment on it. i have also notices that my hands and feet do look like i am a corpse. i’m going to assume that this is normal and proceed to not do anything about it
