A/N: Hello, so I wrote this years ago when I was still in high school but I'm wanting to get back into writing on here so before I start taking request I just want to go back and edit some of my old stuff and bring it back on here since I totally overhauled and deleted my orignal blog. This was one of if not the first one I wrote so I've got a soft spot for it, hence why I'm bringing it back.

Request: Finn Balor/Reader where the Reader is Stephanie and HHH's daughter and they're trying to force a relationship between the Reader and Rollins

No warnings, just a little bit of bad language and I tried to make it a bit fluffy at the end. Set roughly 2014/2015

Y/N's POV

"Okay sweetheart, we have the perfect plan for yours and Seth's date tonight." My dad told me on the way to Monday Night Raw.

"Which is...?" I asked responded.

"Once Raw is over, a limo will pick you both up from the arena and will take you to the most extravagant restaurant in the city then afterwards you lovebirds can do whatever you want." My mum told me with excitement in her voice, however, despite that, I felt sick to my stomach when she called Seth and I lovebirds.

The problem is I don't love Seth, I mean he is apart of the authority therefore we have made a friendship but that's all. In reality, I am in a relationship with Finn Balor. It hasn't be for long, just over a few months and it has been the happiest few months of my life. He treats me so well and seems to care for me, very deeply, just as much as I care for him. But as evident, my parents have no idea about our relationship and are trying to force a relationship with me and Seth.

"Okay mum," I sighed as the car pulled into the arena.

Once I got myself sorted in my very own locker room (being the daughter of the authority does have some benefits you know), I was on my way to hair and make up for tonight's show until I heard my name being called.

"Y/N, are you busy or are you simply walking away from me?" I automatically knew that beautiful Irish accent. I smiled to myself and turned around to be face to face my handsome, funny and loving boyfriend.

"Now why would I run away from you, but what are you doing here , not that I'm complaining but shouldn't you be in Orlando?"

"Some NXT talent were invited to come along to Raw and get to see the inner workings and get to know people in the main roster and backstage." Finn said with a smile, god I love his smile, its just so lovely. He wrapped his arm around me and gave a hug and kissed my cheek. "Does your parents know about us yet?" That question crushed my soul, I'm too scared to tell my parents. I can't predict what their reaction would be.

"No," I broke our hug as I spoke softly, "They set up a date for me and Seth tonight, they really want us to be an item." I looked down at the ground, I couldn't bare to see the look on Finn's face. He put his hands on my face to make look into his eyes.

"Look Y/N, I know you are scared about telling your parents about us but you have to tell them before its too late." I knew he was right but I just didn't know what to say. I gave him a weak smile.

"I know, I just have no idea how tell them, I don't want your career and dreams to be ruined just because my parents do not approve of us.

He gave a light chuckle. "Don't worry about me, I am sure it won't be that bad, on the plus side your dad alreadu knows me throught NXT, it's not as if I am a random stranger," He gave me a smile again. I smiled back before reaching up and placing a quick kiss on his lips.

"I suppose, I'll let them know about us," I said after I kissed him. He kissed me again which makes me still feel butterflies.

Seth's POV

Why the hell is Y/N kissing Finn. She is supposed to be dating me, we have our first date tonight. Never knew she was a slut. Does Hunter and Stephanie know about this shit? I have tell them anyway. She's mine. I want her. No else can have her.

"What the fuck is wrong with Y/N ?" I yelled as I stormed into Hunter and Stephanie's office.

"Don't you ever speak about my daughter that way," I could see the anger rising in Hunter's body.

"Hunter, calm down, Seth what happened?" Stephanie was more relaxed but not pleased either.

I took a deep breath, "I saw Y/N kissing that Finn Balor guy from NXT backstage, I thought she was suppose to be dating me." Hunter and Stephanie looked shocked, I guess they didn't know after all.

"We will get to the bottom of this, don't get involved." Stephanie told me.

Y/N's POV

On my way to my parents' office, I got a text from my mum telling me that we need to talk. When I got to the door I knocked then entered the office. I saw that my mum's stern face but my dad being more calm and relaxed. I also saw Finn sitting down, looking down at the ground. Oh shit.

"How did you find out?" My voice being barely audible.

"Seth saw you two kissing each other backstage, may I just say I am very disappointed in you Y/N, we handed you a stable relationship but you wanted someone else, what does he have that Seth doesn't, I expected more from you Y/N and you-"

"Steph, I think that's enough," my dad cut my mum off before she could say anything to Finn, "Look I know you wanted Seth and Y/N to be a couple but she isn't interested and we both know what Seth can be like with women, I know Finn from NXT and he is a great guy, I think we should give him a chance."

"I suppose its only fair," my mum sighed before turning to Finn, "Take care of her or I will make your life a living hell." I can see my dad rolling his eyes at her comment.

Finn, who hasn't said a word this whole time, finally speaks, "I will take the best of care, don't worry I love her." I was blushing at the end.

"Now get out of my office, we have a show to run," my mum said light heartedly.

"That was nerve racking, I understand why you were too nervous to tell them." Finn said once we left the room.

"I know, they can be very scary at times but I'm glad they know. I don't have to hide you anymore." He gave ne a light smile.

"I meant what I said in the Y/N, I do love you, I love you very much." I thought my heart was going to explode.

"I love you too Finn." He smiled then bent down to kiss me. I kissed back, still feeling those butterflies, I want to spend the rest of my life with him, hopefully he will stay with me forever.

Training Day Snippet

Imani’s chest heaved violently as her back hit the mat for the umpteenth time during their intense training session. “Again!” Bron yelled amusedly from his seat on the top turnbuckle as she was getting up too slow for his liking. “Bitch.” She mumbled to herself, sucking in a deep breath before peeling her sweat drenched body from the ring. They had been training for at least two hours and yet she was the only one out of breath from pointless drills that they teach you in recruitment. “You know when I asked you to train WITH me, I thought we would both be putting in work. You haven't done shit, but order me around like a drill sergeant.” Mani snatched a rag from her duffle on the apron to wipe the perspiration from her face annoyed at the time they wasted being unproductive. Bron was a beast in every sense of the word; he was fast, powerful and smart despite his himbo looks. NXT was getting more exposure and she wanted to diversify her moves to keep up with the rising superstars so she asked Bron to teach her more reversals and flashy moves.

“I was just making sure that you were ready for me.” He smirked jumping from the turnbuckle, the mat trembling under his weight as he cracked his knuckles in preparation. “I forgot what a cocky bastard you could be.” Mani snarled whilst lowering into a crouched position to square up with the larger man. If she wanted to win, her only chance was to use her smaller frame to outmaneuver him which would be tricky with someone of his stature. “Come at me.” Attacking him head on wasn't an option so she used his stance to slide under his legs and deliver a kick to the back of his knees which managed to drop him to one knee. Rebounding off the ropes, she used her momentum to deliver a running bulldog. “Come on, big boy. Pop that shit now.” Imani huffed out with a triumphant smile tugging on her lips proud of being able to take him down so quickly. Her victory was short lived when he sprung back up and was rushing at her with pure focus in his eyes.  “Shit.” The woman mumbled then gripped the top rope, pulling her body through the middle and onto the apron to avoid his grasp. Going for a fan kick to the head when he closed in, he caught her ankle midair. “Predictable, sweetheart.”

Instead of dropping her leg, he pulled it to rest on his shoulder, a devilish grin stretching across his lips. “Good, but you can do better. A shoulder block to the stomach into a sunset flip would've incapacitated the opponent then grounded them. I can’t complain about the view though.” Yanking her leg from his grip, she gave him a sarcastic smile before surprising him with a headbutt. Bron let out a loud chuckle at the unexpected offense as reeled back to nurse his forehead. Scrambling to the top rope for a meteora, her smirk dropped as soon as she leapt, noticing he had regained his composure already. He caught her by the thighs upon Imani’s knees coming into contact with his shoulders. “Aht aht aht. You gotta be quicker than that, little girl.” His smugness vexed her to no end, but she was afraid if she mouthed off she'd be met with a powerbomb.

Clutching the back of his neck for leverage, she mustered up the most innocent smile possible and batted her long, wispy lashes at him. “I thought you were supposed to be showing me how to be better.” In their current position his nose was brushing against her navel and his large calloused hands were mere inches away from her ass. “I could show you a number of moves, but then we’d get suspended for public indecency.” His breath fanning over her clothed sex sent a shiver up her spine making her gasp at the sudden sensation and implication. Bron lifted her off his shoulders with ease then set her back on her feet, his eyes dancing with tease. Invading his personal space purposely this time, she pressed her sweat covered body to his sticking them together like glue with a smirk etched on her full lips. “Care to make a little bet then?”

Some minor things I'm thinking about/predictions for season 3~

-some more (pretty unedited) things I think could happen + predictions I don't necessarily hope to happen; + talking out some frustrations I personally had (if u don't want to read anything partially negative)

Missy & Amerie friendship. It would be good to expand to some less visited friendships. We got a hint of Amerie & Missy once again and I could see them talking even more nxt szn.

Sasha and Quinni are going to be working together nxt szn, and I can already see how the writers might try to rekindle something, but I don't want that, obviously. I could see them making Sasha develop feelings again only for Quinni to turn her down or it could be an opportunity for Sasha to actually apologize after some reflection as they continue to go their separate ways romantically.

Ant has to find out Harper also made the map, right? (that's the direction it's heading in??)

I don't care either way, but if Rowan wasn't just a 1 season and done type of character, I could see them trying to explore a mental health storyline, and separate from that make him more likeable/building friendships with anyone but Amerie.

Critiques of the Season/What I Hope Going Forward

They really missed some opportunities with Harper. It's totally valid for 2 childhood besties to grow apart in some ways and come back with an even greater and more mature connection. Instead, they just had Darren and Quinni adopt her into the group when I wish they would've spent a season of her developing her own friendships and building up her relationships that will be beneficial going forward.

which brings me to my points: I want Harper and Amerie to spend some time apart next season. I don't want it to be dramatic and I don't want them to have a fallout. They can actually be friends without being attached at the hip, but I don't want the s1 trio to be disrupted when I think that relationship is very special (sorry if this sounds harsh), and feels more organic than Harper's outside of the one that's developing with Cash.

Speaking of relationships: Ant & Harper feels underdeveloped to me. They could be a great couple. I wish they spent more time this season giving them individual arcs, but I think next season they kind of need to go through something dramatic to have the kind of break-through I'm wanting from their characters. They're kind of boring to me rn (I'm so sorry Harthony fans). They could end up together or not; I'm just not sold on their story yet.

New couples-I like the development stage of new couples/couples you don't expect. Give Quinni a gf, ofc. Switch up some of the dynamics. Relationships can be a means to another end, and it doesn't have to = the previous being bad. I don't want a love triangle, though; let them grow without the drama.

They could show the journey of Missy dealing with a toxic man, or they could show Spider/Missy grow together (I really don't care); I just want development for both of them individually and their own separate arcs regardless (especially Missy-he did have his own large arc this season). I actually think it would be cool to show the slow effects of how things add up and trauma causing some unhealthy behaviors with Spider (it doesn't have to make him bad; he's like 18 and anyone could grow from a failed high school relationship/become a really great person, but I just don't feel awe when I see their scenes...personally).

I didn't add this point with them on my other post, but I kind of want Darren and Cash to each have new romances/flings. I know there is love there, but I think they need to find themselves independent of one another. Their relationship very much feels like they grew up together and prematurely decided they belong together what with Cash's long secret crush (which is fine, but..); it is absolutely cute, though their incompatibility and continuous communication problems need to be explored/they need to mature.

For over a year now she was the one that sorted any issues out they bad between them without her its going to fall.

I predict next week Damian will take out Dom, Finn and Funko Pop JD

Finn turns babyface and we get a Finn and Damian feud

JD goes back to NXT in the draft

Dom will try to get in good with Legado Del Fantasma and Santos turns him away which leads to Dom finding solace with Liv(I don't want it to happen, but feels like it will)

Then Rhea returns. Coming for revenge, taking her title and Dom back and then knocking some sense into Damian and bringing The Judgement Day back together.

Hey! anon who gave the Tatum Lyra theory here again.

I just feel it would be predicable if Tatum truly turned on Lyra out of hate. Say what you will about HBK if you don’t have a good opinion (I looove him) but he clearly knows how to craft great stories. I’m picturing that Tatum will do everything to become Lyra’s most hated enemy, do heinous things, ruin her career advancement… and it’ll be because she cares too much to see Lyra loss herself. Tatum realised half-way through it was the title that was making her little bird change, more angry, less compassionate etc.

I think it suits Tatum’s character to do this out of her twisted sense of love. We’ll have the promo before the big match at the next PPV, and Tatum will reveal it all.

Like you said, this would be Jay costing Jimmy the title done right.

i also love shawn don’t worry. and agree with your opinion on him; i’m more inclined to believe he’d give us a banger than not. even if the reason was predictable, i trust him enough that the story will be good regardless. honestly i think he’s a better booker than papa h.

tatum’s character—from what i’ve interpreted—is presented as intuitive. i love the idea of her concluding that just like those before her, the championship was going to corrupt lyra and turn her into a monster. it’s like that one quote, “you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”

and there’s evidence to support tatum’s motivations, like when she went “but that’s not really you, i know you.” could be paraphrasing but that’s essentially what she said. when she screamed “it doesn’t belong to you anymore,” tatum looked and sounded overjoyed.

but lyra losing the championship isn’t enough. because she’s gonna keep chasing after roxanne, which means she’s gonna keep spiraling. in tatum’s mind, if it continued, she would’ve seen lyra fall down the same route as roxanne did.

about jey v jimmy, tbh i think the whole story was done… eh. poorly? it wasn’t awful awful, but it didn’t help that after giving a bullshit reason for jimmy to turn on jey, their eventual match’s momentum was halted, since they waited until like, three weeks before to even start setting up the match. meanwhile lyra v tatum has been consistent in telling a great story and has a believable reason behind the betrayal.

on a side note.. who’s to say lyra’s not gonna double down? i think it’d be a fun turn of events if lyra just got more demented, to the point that tatum—who is presented as the villain—actually becomes the hero/anti-hero by the end of the story. i think there’d need to be a third party to make that happen. maybe roxanne, but there’s a handful of phenomenal heels on nxt. if i had to choose, i’d go with blair. not only is there that nxt uk connection, but blair was a fundamental part of roxanne’s own spiral. ik she’s got her thing with sol ruca rn but that doesn’t mean she can’t be in more than one story.
