Nyctosaurus was a pterosaur from the late Cretaceous US. Weird critter best known for the fancy head crest, but it also deserves mention for being so adapted to aerial life that it decided to ditch its fingers.

The smell of rain fills the air, though not a single drop has fallen. A huge Mosasaurus slowly swims through a warm, shallow sea, unbothered by the noisy pterosaurs.

The world seems half asleep.

Pokémon fixation is coming back

First fakémon I’ve made in a while and I am absolutely losing my mind LOOK AT MY BABY!!! Giggling and squealing and kicking my feet.

[Start ID: digital drawing on a cloudy sky background of a fakemon in the style of Ken Sugimori. It is called westraverse, the voyager pokemon, and is a flying water type. Westraverse has a blue, white, coral and seafoam color palette and resembles a nyctosaurus or similar pterosaur. Its large crest is designed to look like sailboat sails, and its bill is vaguely shaped like the hull of a sailboat as well. Along its blue wings are light markings that look like fans of water that splash along a boat’s sides. Its shiny is shown to have a brighter blue and purple instead of pink. A Pokédex entry reads: “Thanks to its sail-like crest and joints that can lock in place, Westraverse can soar on rising air from the ocean for days on end without using much energy. They only land to sleep and raise their chicks, and spend their days exploring seas and coastlines across the globe.” End ID.]
