Change of Plans
Author's Note: So, for those who don't know what's going on, I've "created" a character simply called the Fairy of the Wood. Towards the end of Lesson 52 in the original Obey Me game, Simeon comments that everything the group has encountered during Lessons 51 and 52 was the result of fairy interference. I am merely putting a face to that fairy interference.
As for the Fairy of the Wood calling MC the Lightbringer, I'm referencing what the devs put in Nightbringer during one of their events. I figured it would help me in my quest to better tie the two games together to create one cohesive narrative.
All of this was a change from my original plan for this part of my rewrite because I was daydreaming while bored at work, and the Fairy of the Wood kept popping in my head.
So, hopefully this explanation makes sense, and you're able to follow along a bit better.
Dammit. The Lightbringer is too good.
Everything was originally going to plan as they, along with the former seraph, were forced to look for their companions. When they reached the library, I'd assume that they'd take a break. You know, sit down and chat for a bit.
I want the Lightbringer to help the former seraph. An angel's aura is never supposed to be dull like his. It implies a detachment that's unacceptable in the Celestial Realm. I'd be surprised if his superiors weren't already thinking about exiling him, because they expect total allegiance and obedience from all residents.
The thing is, I'm not sure if the Lightbringer is supposed to help him stay in the Celestial Realm or escape from it. It's hard to determine which decision would benefit the greater good.
Anyway, instead of doing any of that, the Lightbringer pulls a book off one of the shelves and uses it to summon the Avatar of Wrath. So now I have to figure out how to separate yet another person from them. I can't use the haunted house to scare him off, because he knows too much about it to be afraid of anything that might pop up.
As the three of them resume their search for the Avatar of Greed and the child, I begin thinking of another plan. What knowledge can I use to my advantage?
After a few minutes, it hits me.
The Avatars of Sin were once angels. All except one: the Avatar of Wrath, who was born out of the Morning Star.
I pull up the portal database. There isn't a whole lot that connect to the Celestial Realm of the past, but for my purposes there doesn't need to be. Selecting the one I want, I put it on the other side of the door that the Avatar of Wrath is approaching.
The screen momentarily goes black. When the picture returns, I'm relieved to see that the portal worked exactly as intended.
From this point, I can only watch and hope that things play out the way I want them to. Interfering too much with the portal will change it into something completely unrecognizable.

Going through my inbox and the oldest request is almost two and a half years old... damn. And I posted last like what, a year and a few months ago?
Anyway, I've been gone for a while. Honestly got no reason other than busy life and addiction to games.
Well, either way, had the urge to write something so yeah. Also I'll be adding new fandoms to the list. Namely Hell's Paradise(both manga and anime), Obey me(I'm only on lesson 52 though)... and if you thought there was gonna be more then you're wrong. I might occasionally write about the characters from the books I'm reading, but I dunno if I want active requests for them.
To anyone reading this and hoping I post regularly again, I hope so too. And highly doubt it.
Oh, and, late happy new years btw.

When I make up my jewels Part 1
Malachi 3:16-18
Lessons from the Scottish Revival 1948-52
Message given at House of Prayer, Carlow, Ireland- (Prophetic Word)– 7th June 2000.
He is ready to gather the emeralds for His crown.
Understanding intercession and revival
Two of the greatest revivals in the 20th century were the Welsh and the Lewis/Hebridean revivals, both involving Celtic peoples.
Has God forgotten the Irish?
God loves the Irish!
Why has Satan laboured so hard to divide and destroy Ireland.
The spirit of Herod is still at work, trying to destroy that which is newly born in the body of Christ.
Will the coming Irish revival touch the whole earth?
Malachi 3
16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened,
and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the
LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my
jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him
that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
v17 The Welsh were the rubies, the Scots the sapphires.
God wants to gather his emeralds for his crown.
We must pray that these precious lost jewels will be found.
His jewel box is the Church of Jesus Christ.
God is putting us in remembrance of something about his character tonight and
wants us to remember the Lewis/Hebridean revival.
Pastor Sean Mullarkey recently told me of a prophecy he had heard that the Irish would no longer dance with their hands at their sides but would dance like the Scots with their hands in the air.
The Hebridean Revival 1948-52
The revival came back in those days on the Isle of Lewis - one of the islands of the Hebrides, just off the coast of Scotland.
The church elders met in Stornoway to discuss the sad state of the church.
Dead, dry and without much hope, some of the churches were about ready to close their doors. The young people were in the drinking places and the dance halls - they were not at all interested in spiritual things.
Seven men begin to change their world through prayer
As a result of the meeting, seven men and one of the elders decided to pray and seek God for
the Hebrides Isles. They met in an old barn by the side of the road. Three times a week they
met and prayed and sought the face of God. As they knelt in the straw of the old barn God
reminded them of a verse of scripture in
2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive
their sin and heal their land."
They began to pray according to this verse.
God is the Covenant Keeper
And then the Holy Spirit gave them a revelation - that He was a covenant-keeping God.
They realised that if they kept their end of the covenant i.e. to humble themselves and pray
and seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways" then God was bound by His own
covenant to come and keep His end of the two-way promise - to "Hear from heaven and
forgive their sins and HEAL THEIR LAND."
They continued to pray day after day - keeping their faith strong and reminding God of His
word. They obeyed God and cleansed their hearts - and sought His face - and held on to the
covenant promise. They had no doubt that God would heal their land and visit the people of
the Hebrides.
Two elderly ladies change their world through prayer
At the same time, two elderly ladies, sisters, one of 82 and the other of 84 years, were also
praying continually in their cottage, for God to come in His power and visit their island.
Simultaneous glory
One night after five months, as the men were praying and travailing before God, suddenly the
barn was filled with the glory of God. At the same time, the little cottage where the sisters
were praying, was also filled with the glory of God - they knew that God had heard and that He was about to descend in power among them.
God is coming in two weeks
God instructed the sisters to write to Duncan Campbell, a well-known Keswick speaker- a
godly man of prayer. God revealed to the sisters that he was the man the Lord was calling to
preach during this visitation.
Duncan Campbell received the letter but replied that his itinerary was full, and that they should continue to pray and that he would come the following year. When the sisters heard this, they said, "Well God is coming in two weeks!"
They continued to pray, and Duncan Campbell s itinerary got cancelled - so he decided to go
instead to the Hebrides and be available to preach.
Amen
Prayer for revival
In Part 2 we find out what happened next when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Hebrides.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s going into Nightbringer with like only HALF of the obey me story and lore (all of which I’ve scrounged up from episode summaries, fun fact posts, occasional screenshots, and fanfics)! Listen, the reason I didn’t play obey me is because I literally could NOT get it to load…like it would take 5 WHOLE MINUTES PER LOADING SCREEN, and that’s even with all the graphic settings and stuff on low, and it wasn’t my WiFi or data bc everything else internet-related worked smoothly. Like yeah Nightbringer still has more loading screens than what I’d normally put up with, and they all take at least 30-90 seconds, which again would make me quit any other game, but I’m so outrageously happy that I can even get PAST the opening screen of Nightbringer, I tolerate it all anyway because it feels good to not feel left out of the fandom lmao! that’s how much Obey Me lowered my standards for any future games😭!
I'm only on lesson 52 in SWD, so yeah I'm with you. Like the battles are so difficult, but IN MY HUBRIS I only leveled up the same three cards until I got to lesson 21 and was like... oh, and now I'm playing catch up with my other cards and throwing glow sticks at the characters any chance I get. Not only that, but I tend to lose focus/motivation while I do anything, so then I just stop playing sometimes even though I want to continue.
Also, sorry to hear that your game wasn't working for you. It's been slow on me on occasion, but it's usually because of my internet or when events are happening and I assume it's because there's a lot of traffic (if that's how this even works lol). But yeah, Nightbringer loads way faster than SWD which I appreciate.
And hey, glad you're in the fandom! You don't have to know the ins and outs of the game to be part of the fandom, as long as you enjoy it and are having fun then what's it matter? And you're more than welcome to talk/ask about lore here (or just anything really), even though I'm not completely caught up either! :)

Doubting God’s Forgiveness
''Sister Faustina shared a compelling story in her Diary in which she helped lift a huge burden from a fellow nun’s heart. It was just before she left for a new assignment after her perpetual vows. An elderly sister revealed the condition of her soul to Sr. Faustina. She had suffered interiorly for years, felt her Confessions had been bad, and therefore doubted God’s forgiveness. Sister Faustina asked her if she had ever shared her burden with her confessors. The sister responded that she had, several times. The sister recalled, “[T]he confessors are always telling me to be at peace, but I still suffer very much, and nothing brings me relief, and it constantly seems to me that God has not forgiven me.” Sister Faustina told her, “You should obey your confessor, Sister, and be fully at peace, because this is certainly a temptation.” Sister Faustina could not get away from this nun’s tearful pleadings, as well as the firm grasp she had of the young mystic’s hand! (Diary, 628).
Sister Faustina recalled in her Diary, “But she entreated me with tears in her eyes to ask Jesus if He had forgiven her and whether her confessions had been good or not.” Sister Faustina was firm. “Ask Him yourself, Sister, if you don’t believe your confessors!” The sister wouldn’t let go of St. Faustina’s hand. She wanted an answer. “[S]he kept asking me to pray for her and to let her know what Jesus would tell me about her. Crying bitterly, she would not let me go and said to me, ‘I know that the Lord Jesus speaks to you, Sister.’” Sister Faustina couldn’t get away. She promised prayers for the poor soul. “In the evening, during Benediction, I heard these words in my soul: ‘Tell her that her disbelief wounds My heart much more than the sins she committed.’ When I told her this, she began to cry like a child, and great joy entered her soul.” She continued, “I understood that God wanted to console this soul through me. Even though it cost me a great deal, I fulfilled God’s wish” (Diary, 628).
We absolutely need to take time to reflect upon the fact that Jesus is offended and even sad over our mistrust in His great mercy and forgiveness. No sin is unforgivable except for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. The Catechism teaches:
"Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven” [Mt 12:31; cf. Mk 3:29; Lk 12:10]. There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. [Cf. John Paul II, DeV 46]. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss (CCC, 1864).
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is to refuse to repent of sin, which separates one from God. In choosing to remain in sin, one is essentially refusing God’s mercy and blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
Jesus told Sr. Faustina, “The greater the sinner, the greater the right he has to My mercy” (Diary, 723). He also said, “If someone causes you trouble, think what good you can do for the person who caused you to suffer” (Diary, 1760). We not only need to forgive, but according to Jesus, we should do good to that person. God will grant us the graces we need.
Something to Ponder
We read in Scripture, “Then Peter came and said to him, ‘Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times’” (Mt 18:21-22). Think about the many lessons Jesus taught Sr. Faustina. Take time this week to reflect deeply upon your own life. Is there someone you need to forgive? Is there someone who has tried to apologize to you? What was your response? What can it be with God’s grace?
Let us keep in mind Jesus’ instructions to His dear Sr. Faustina. We can ask ourselves His questions. Is our love for our neighbor guided by God’s love? Do we pray for our enemies? Do we wish well to those who have, in one way or another, caused us sorrow or offended us? Jesus reminded us “that whatever good you do to any soul,” He will “accept it as if you had done it to Me” (Diary, 1768).
A Merciful Action
Be sure to be merciful and loving to all you meet this week. Ask God to put those in your path who need much love and mercy. Pray for those who have hurt you and plan whole-hearted works of mercy to offer selflessly to those who have not been good to you. Yes, you can do these acts of mercy! But only with God’s grace. Pray that you will carry them out with a pure heart. Could you write that person a letter or email? How about a phone call? If that is not possible, you can still whole-heartedly forgive that person in your prayers to God. Consider going to the Sacrament of Confession very soon and confess any times you have failed to forgive, or refused to accept an apology or forgiveness — even from God!''

8 and 12 for obey me ask
8. Which sin best represents you?
Oof. I think it's a close tie between Envy and Greed? Envy because I really do find myself envying a lot of people, especially for their art output that it sends me into deep spirals of depression and questioning if it's worth even trying anymore, and all the other things Levi tends to do tbh >.> My ugliest trait tbh, I'm so glad it's largely limited to art and I can avoid it by doing stuff that makes me feel like I'm making progress improving everyday/most days >.<
And Greed because I honest to goodness want more money (so tired of feeling bad whenever I need to spend on anything fun? or even food tbh) and daydream of stealing millions from billionaires and robbing designer fashion stores and stealing Rolexes to melt down into gold/platinum bars to sell for cash sdhfkdfg I want that money to spend on myself and my friends and family so bad bc we all deserve better (which I guess rounds back to envy again so maybe my biggest sin really is just Envy lmao)
12. Which lesson has been your favorite?
OOOUUGHGHGH LESSON 51 LESSON 51 MY BELOVED the number one reason why this blog even exists sdfhjksdghkjdfgh it's the Lesson where Satan and Simeon end up in an illusionary Celestial Realm and always has me up in my feelings each time I think about it. Close second is 52 because it's a continuation of it, and those Lessons combined are absolutely the ones I think about the most. Just gave me so much insight to Satan, Simeon, and their relationship with each other and the brothers? Talking about it makes me want to revisit my WIP rewrite of it...
Like. I know I'm likely going to change each Sorcerer Trial for Dola when I do the outline for how S3 went for her but... Those Lessons. I'm going to include them no matter what the fuck I end up turning her canon into omfg those lessons... Clutching my heart thinking about them... Ouugughg Satan.... ;A;
Incredible shout out to Lesson 46 as well since it has my Most Favorite Confession In The Game... Which is Solomon's :) The way it made some of the shit he did in S2 click sdhfkjdfg ougughg oml...

110.    “Nothing or nobody is ever gonna come between us again.”
111.    “Forget about those. They ain’t nothing but trouble.”
112.   “The boy couldn’t help himself. It was bound to happen.”

52-A & 52-C: The Fake Smilers are BIG MAD
We finally catch up with the folks left to manage the cafe and witness the fall out.
Barbatos left Levi and Diavolo in charge when he had to go tend to his other duties.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
lol
Diavolo, evidently, absolutely enjoys partaking in service jobs and is having a great time with his shift. There’s an adorable Dialuci moment when Lucy orders a drink from him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So sweet. I can just feel the diabeetus creeping up on me.
Solomon volunteers. Somehow, no one tries to stops him...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nooooooo
Tumblr media
Yep.
When we finally get back, Barbatos is there to happily greet us!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
LOL they called on him to deliver tea and open a portal and just LEFT HIM THERE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
RIP Satan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Barbatos and Simeon are horrifying when they clearly want to murder you where you stand but they keep smiling.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Diavolo was looking for back-up to dissuade Solomon from using the kitchen because he’s a giant soft push-over.
Simeon is quick to notice that it was a safety failure on all levels, though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yep, he’s more terrifying than Lucifer and Michael when he’s like this. Never looking forward to a ‘face-to-face’ talk from an angel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LMAO
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They do realize this is just going to piss Simeon off more, right?
Demons are dumb. But now we all know why Simeon possesses the Wrath glowstick, if there was any doubt before this.

Lesson 52 spoilers
Perhaps I’m jumping to conclusions, but does anyone else feel like Simeon is hinting that he won’t be an angel for much longer? First he had that last little interaction with angel Lucifer about feeling doubt, and then he makes a comment about how angels can’t have guardian angels themselves, as though he was implying something. Maybe I’m reading into it to much but just imagine the angst potential if Simeon does fall?? And how that would affect Luke as well as the exchange program itself?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME... FIRST OFF: HELLO??? the way lucifer just so obviously loves and respects his comrade- throughout the whole lesson, we see angel lucifer talk so highly of simeon while complaining about literally everyone else- it paints this picture on just how much he values and cherishes simeon as compared to the other seraphim. and how lucifer- in that moment, seeing simeon apprehensive about what's to come, seeing him with that sort of look- the sorta awareness- knowing that the two are just young and dumb angels in love- he wonders: huh, what's that about? doesn't simeon know that the two are together, here and now, just like they were, and just like how they will always be? and in that moment, seeing simeon melancholic- lucifer would say anything to see him smile. 'nothing is going to change, simeon! this is who we are, and we'll be like this forever.' and how simeon wants to believe him- just for a second, he finds himself truly back all those millennia ago, sitting beside his best friend, losing himself in his golden eyes, his touch electric. and how later, simeon tells the human that seeing lucifer back in his angel form really messed him up- how he was so caught in the euphoria of having his lucifer back- that returning to the real world felt like the worst kind of comedown, him realizing that the lucifer who'd steal him the holy fruit for late-night picnics underneath the stars or sneak out of mundane seraph meetings to catch him on simeon's breaks- the lucifer he fell in love with is long gone, gone to the clutches of the devildom. simeon knows forever doesn't exist for them, and it completely guts him. oh my goddd! i could talk way more about this scene but... none of my thoughts are coherent. just that like literally? the om! devs were like ok here's two amazing well-written complex tragic bittersweet insane attractive characters and oh! they're exes. like ok. i'm going insane.

Let’s go ❗️LESSON 52 SPOILERS❗️
Previous lesson: Angel Lucifer finds Sully and MC
Tumblr media
You have the option of telling him you’re angels
Tumblr media
He’s talking about his brothers; Beel eating fruit from the orchard and Belphie constantly sneaking down to the human realm. Also Raphael seems like a jerk type of angel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He tasks MC and Sully to help him carry books to the library.
He tells Sully to open a certain book.
Tumblr media
*GASP* Luci how could you?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ngl, this part was sorta intense
Lucifer asks what you are. You can the option to choose between Demon, Angel, or Human. I choose Human ofc.
Tumblr media
Nice, this gives us a timeline...sorta. So this is before Solomon was given the magic ring I’m guessing.
Tumblr media
Aww bby🥺
Tumblr media
-Skipped a little but he lets Satan go
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s referring to Diavolo.
He said something about meeting Dia.
skip skip skip You all meet up with everyone and watch the stars.
Tumblr media
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
The other brothers fell asleep. He says Beel and Belphie still sleep in weird positions as they do today. And he:
Tumblr media
Big brother mood🥺🥺
Tumblr media
Oh dear if only you knew...
So you wake up:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Turns out it was all the fairies work. So this whole thing could’ve been a dream or vision or sorts and not really time traveling (which means it does not affect the timeline). Also, “something you wish you could’ve experienced”. Does Satan wonder what it would be like if he was once an Angel?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Ehe-te nandayo” vibes 😂
Last minute booking so you have to share a room with one of the boys: Satan, Mammon, Simeon, or Luke.
Tumblr media
Simeon is fast to jump on that train but YES DADDY PLS-
Sad news you end up getting your own room. Mammon and Luke end up sharing (LOL). You meet Simeon in the hallway.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This lesson just makes me want to give Simeon a big hug. He really misses his brothers🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Anyways-
Tumblr media
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Tumblr media
I LOVE YOUUUUU!
Tumblr media
WOW okay devs....
Tumblr media
Ofc I answered it wrong 😂I’m human but I’m a dumbass too!
Lesson End: You get a star each from Luke and Simeon. I forgot but I think it’s to help you become a sorcerer.
SIDE STORY (MY FAVORITES)
For Context if you don’t remember: Barbatos came to the cafe and ended up having to teleport Simeon and Satan to help MC. Which left him alone to man the cafe (which was a mess).
Tumblr media
Babatos requested that Diavolo help man the cafe and Dia asks Levi to help...can you imagine Diavolo being a cafe waiter?!
Tumblr media
Lucifer: “Do you think you’re fit for this job?”
Levi:
Tumblr media
Mood.
Solomon shows up and offers to help out. Diavolo declines saying he doesn’t need anymore help serving.
Solomon:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love that Lucifer at least takes Levi with him and just doesn’t abandon him 😂
Back to present time:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love it. Barb is so sassy
Tumblr media
Ah, so Barb came to deliver supplies only to be left to deal with a mess. Poor guy, I understand why he’d be angry.
Tumblr media
The f’in names 😂
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And now angry Simeon (who is also terrifying)
Tumblr media
Simeon finds out Luci and Levi were also there but didn’t stop Solo from going into the kitchen
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The side stories are always my favorite because they’re just pure chaos.
_
Overall, this arc was interesting. We can’t say for sure they travelled to the past since this was a dreamlike thing the fairies did. And we finally got to kiss Simeon so hell yes. I wonder who will be the focus next. Barbatos maybe? Of course, this still continues MC’s journey to becoming a licensed sorcerer. Solo does ask for help from Barb and Asmo (in the previous lesson) so looking forward to Asmo/Barb/Solo content (maybe)! The Sorcerer and his demons 😈
Just 8 more lessons before season 3 is over (I’m assuming). Then we’ll get a break then season 4!
