okay, unpopular opinion, but Pluto's not a planet. at least, not a planet like we define Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune to be.

which, I promise everyone that Pluto not being a planet isn't actually that big of a deal 😭 it's still an object in our solar system and it's still really cool and it not being considered a "planet" doesn't really matter. it's not like planets are the only cool things in our solar system. satellites and the asteroid belt and the kuiper belt are all really really cool!!

which, Pluto is more like a kuiper belt object rather than a planet, which is still really cool!! it's orbit more closely resembles irregular satellites or comets than a planet (it doesn't orbit on the same plane as the planets in the solar system), and it's really small. but, yeah, no Pluto isn't a planet, but it's not like we've abandoned it lol

anyway, as for assigning you a planet, I feel like saying Pluto is cheating a bit lol, so I'm not gonna say that.

I'm gonna go with Neptune for you.

fun fact about Neptune: it was the first planet we discovered via math!!!

the other planets before this had been visually observed, but since Neptune's so far away, it's really really difficult to observe it (especially during the time it was discovered). however, scientists knew that there had to be a planet like Neptune in the solar system due to the gravitational affects it has on other things in the solar system. I think that's pretty cool :3

I think Neptune's a really awesome planet (as showcased by a picture of Neptune + Neptune's rings currently being the header picture of my blog lol). I feel like if you were a planet you'd be near the outer parts of our solar system, and I actually think you fit the vibes of the gas giants.

(also, fun fact, the orbits of Neptune and Pluto intersect!! sometimes Pluto orbits closer to the sun than Neptune, and sometimes it's further)

Personally, I don't do much ? It's more of a day to contemplate things regarding our history and future, where things are going.

Others though, that's a whole other case. Pretty sure that some people organise events intertwined with their regional identity, of course there are public gatherings to sing our anthem.. some people participate in the independence march, but a whole load of wild stuff happens there from time to time,,,

At schools the day before or after (since the independence day is a holiday) we have skits that tell the important parts of our history, mainly about how our culture and identity prevailed. Every year this year's selected class tries to present it in a new way.

My nickname is Karo I guess? There are variations like Chad Karosus and just Karosus- my friends use it when I accomplish something (for example, I'm pretty sure Chad Karosus was first used when I won the hunger games generator thing with our whole friend group put in it)

I also had a weird one time nickname at school? It was way back in ~ 3 grade when I got called 'ściana' (wall) a few times. Idk maybe it was about me being tall n broad or it was about me actually participating in wresting on the ground in a blind school hallway down in the basement. Who knows.

Also this just reminded me of that one time I ganged up with my friend on kids like 2? 3? Years older than us during one break. Some time after that I was handed documents during a lesson to give to a secretary and when I was going there I saw those guys and they immediately hid in the boys toilet

on one hand, it's like, the earth is the planet that gave us life. she has been nothing but kind to us. she is our mother, our birthplace, our home. everyone we have ever loved or even known about has existed on this little dot in the universe.

but, at the same time, we would not be here without Jupiter. doesn't Jupiter deserve recognition, too? life would not have formed here without Jupiter.

I feel like there's so much to love about all the planets and the satellites and the meteors and comets. There is just so much to love about everything in the universe, I think, and I've always had difficulties picking favorites.

I love Europa and her sub-surface ocean that has over 3 times the amount of water than the entire surface of Earth. I love Titan and her liquid methane lakes and rains. I love Jupiter and Saturn and Uranus and Neptune and their storms and their mighty and dense atmospheres.

I love Mars and Mercury and our moon and Callisto and all the other geologically dead surfaces of our solar system which give us insights to the solar system's past.

I love Venus and her relatively new surface and thick atmosphere and backwards rotation.

There is just so so much to love, I think

Kinda? But not really. A long time ago my dad met someone with my name and the name really stuck with him for years, I guess. But I wasn't really named after that person it just inspired him to do research into my name.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Recently probably lmao. I tear up a lot, but uhh full on sobbing was probably a couple weeks ago.

3. Do you have kids?

Nope! Maybe one day, but that would be in the far future. I like kids though.

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

Literally none. I was never really into sports as a kid lol. Even now I'm not really into it.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

No I would never (yes occasionally)

bold of you to assume I can remember the first thing I notice about people... idk I feel like it depends on the person and the context of our meeting 😭

Brown <3 like really dark brown someone once told me I had black eyes which. isn't a thing. but I liked their enthusiasm.

Is it just me or is this an odd question? I feel like they're not really comparable unlike, idk, sad vs happy ending. Umm but I'll say happy endings. Horror is incredibly hit or miss with me, but I tend to like happy endings (though you may not guess it from my recent fanworks lmao.. sorry <3)

I have forgotten every single thing I have ever done.. gimme a moment lmao

I genuinely can't think of anything I probably have something but tbh I don't even know what counts as a talent lol

writing is the biggest one. reading, playing d&d, stargazing (the city is my biggest enemy.. give me the stars back </3), playing guitar, listening to music, occasional video gaming, does daydreaming count? because I spend an unreasonable amount of time daydreaming..

I used to have a yellow lab named Sagan (named after Carl Sagan) and he was the sweetest boy ever and he got so unreasonably happy anytime we'd get him a new dog bed like jumping up and down tail wagging and it was my favorite thing I used to beg my parents to buy him a new dog bed just so I could see his reaction cause I loved it so much and he was always so gentle and I miss him a lot </3

5'3"/160 cm

13. Favorite Subject in school?

astronomy <33 my absolute beloved there's no class I love more than learning about SPACE!! creative writing classes can also be pretty good though.

14. Dream Job?

None. I want to live life without the constant fear of breaking under capitalistic pressure, free to pursuit hobbies and crafts and interests without the threat of losing shelter and food and other basic needs.

Idk probably like a writer or smth. Maybe smth with space. I'm still contemplating.
