Finally gave him a solid ref, he had a little doodley thing before. And im not sure if I ever uploaded it here? Anyways. Splitpiss lives in a world where all humans, a very long time ago, were converted into digital data, as their world was dying. Citizens now, no longer even know about the 'meatspace' world outside of horror movies. It's made out of multiple servers, and its usually common to give yourself actual username-like names. People can change that on a whim, as well as their 'avatars', since everyone is a digital entity. Very, very rarely, can people actually die. As it requires their code to break down. Splitpiss was one of the unfortunate individuals, as he didn't want to die, he willingly infected himself with parasitic viruses that replaced chunks of missing code that decayed. The downside to those viruses is they did affect his behavior. It's rather small. Acting more like a mental illness than anything obvious. Splitpiss will occasionally have intrusive thoughts, but rather than being able to ignore him the viruses will occasionally make him act out on them. This has lead him into a bunch of dangerous and rather fucked up situations, now he lives his life on shady servers. Not that he minds (or...not much. Maybe a little). He's always hung around more 'dangerous' people, he can be something of a chaotic little shithead himself sometimes. He can also be pretty chill and friendly, and sometimes a nervous wreck. He's just a weird little thing.

(little drabble)

Yoriichi watches the man -- large, ethereal-looking man -- tilts his head as his ruby eyes dart up and down in interest. The boy blinks, unsure what to make of this. It's one thing to be suddenly greeted with such a sight of a being, moreover that he sees the massive differences in the inside of the man.

Whereas the staff of his household manages a steady rhythmically heart beat, this larger being has his heart moves in a way Yoriichi has never seen before. Out of the world-like.

" Yosh! " The man starts, his voice surprisingly airy and light, but still full of life. " Nice to meet you! I am Nika! "

The boy stares for a bit. " I am...Yoriichi. "

" Yoriichi. " Nika leans in, his grin resembling the beams of sunlight. " Well, it's not everyday I get to meet the embodiment of nature. "

He speaks strange words, not that Yoriichi mind much. The man, or whatever he is, shifts on his spot, movements bouncy and uneven. Nika tilts his head up, narrowing his eyes for a moment as he surveys the sky above.

" What a nice weather! Wanna go play together? " He looks back at Yoriichi, holding out his hand.

Yoriichi glances at the position of the shadows cast over the ground from the familiar tree near the small room he lives in. Mitchikatsu should be training by now, his father is currently out for a meeting, and his mother is in her room sewing. The staff cares less about him.

Oh well. The less he's being seen near the main court, the better.

He takes Nika's hand, or finger. The size difference is rather comedical.

" Okay. "

i am not an animator but the few animations i have made it really does feel like magic when it comes together. i used to think the way disney (especially older disney) talked about their animation as magical that they were being cheesy and sentimental but after actually trying it myself i totally get it. seeing all the pictures you drew come to life at the end it feels like it has its own soul or something
