5. Dragonborn's favorite province and Dragonborn's least favorite province?

oh boy, dervaer isn’t particularly well-travelled, beyond skyrim and parts of valenwood. I can’t really say he has a least favourite province. from what little he’s seen of cyrodiil, he likes it a lot - he’d visit the imperial city again if he got the chance. he’s grown fond of skyrim as well. despite the war and the dragon crisis and the cold, he’s always charmed by its beauty.

8. Is your Dragonborn religious? Who's their favored god/god/pantheon?

he’s not particularly religious but he still reveres the bosmeri pantheon. so he has mixed feelings on the whole dragon blood being a gift from akatosh bit.

13. Does your Dragonborn have any hobbies? Are they particularly attached to any of them?

swords are kind of dervaer’s Main Thing. his abilities are important to him and he feels the most grounded when he’s training. he’s also surprisingly good at cooking, just putting together ingredients by feeling rather than using a recipe. and since he’s pretty flexible with the green pact, he’s got a few more options.

6. Does your Dragonborn favor melee, ranged weapons or magic? A mix of all three, or maybe none?

dervaer is most comfortable with two-handed weapons, especially swords! I guess his fighting style is best described as “barbarian,” which can look a bit silly considering how small he is. it’s no wonder he gets injured so often.

9. Dragonborn's name and the meaning behind it?

to be perfectly honest, when I made him I got the name off of fantasynamegenerators’ page for bosmer 💀 so I’m gonna share a little about his nickname “vee”

he’s always been very insistent that his name be pronounced “der-veer” - it’s sort of a pet peeve of his when people say “der-vayr” instead. his older sisters made fun of him for it when he was a child, hence the nickname “vee,” which just stuck after that. it’s mostly reserved for close friends and family.

12. What is your Dragonborn's occupation, be it current or otherwise?

dervaer is a professional wanderer and troublemaker. it’s not a well-paid career. he helps people when he can but he generally refuses to sell his sword - so his funds mostly depend on whether the last dungeon had anything worthwhile. on the average day he and nalorn have about 15 septims and a ball of lint between them.
