Confusion, fear. The darkness of a car boot, a blanket of void, or the pressure of a cloth against a mouth, body flush against another as the former's eyes close, consciousness giving way to blissful slumber.

Eyes opening to an agonizing headache, rope bound around their wrists and ankles. The cold floor of the basement, cobwebs in each corner. Darkness in said corners, save for a flicking fluorescent light hanging like a man on a noose above.

The silhouette at the now open doorway, having no time to spare as pain and screams erupted. Walls coated with a vibrant shade of agony, an unconscious battered body on the floor, fading away as the door slid shut.

Consciousness. Pain, in every inch of one's body. Loneliness, silence that pierced through the air like a blade cutting into flesh. A shudder, realizing what situation this now is.

The seasons change. Years pass; or, what feels like years. The walls remain with dried and cracking blood on its surface. An array of weapons, metal blades glimmering in the single light. Slowly accumulating scars, healing over at record speed. A leg, lost to time, taken by one so familiar yet always a stranger. Few times compassion is shown, but what precious moment each one of them is. When rotting away in a cell, with nobody knowing where you are, every nice moment is savoured.

Then, a change. A burst of hope. No footsteps heard above the basement, a house in silence. The creaking of floorboards as bare feet stepped against it. Pale skin basking against sun rays barely blocked by thin grey clouds for the first time in years. Finally, a change.

Aching legs that ran for miles and miles, a cloudy mind and a dishevelled body. Alleyways and corner shops, shoplifted items held between trembling digits. Barely surviving, but surviving nonetheless.

Shuddering breaths billow out in the midst of winter, a trembling figure hiding in shadow. A helping hand in front of a hazy gaze, mindlessly accepting a concerned offer. The warmth of blankets on shaking limbs, a soft voice and soft hands and soft fabrics. The sun setting with a dog snoring soundly; a fleeting moment of peace, but a moment of peace to cherish.

Huddling in warm clothes, thankfully back on the streets after viewing the concerned strangers face reluctantly watching him go. Then, voices. Eerily familiar. Two figures side by side; one, a tall man, the other a strong woman, both expressions laced with worry. A shaky hiss as they passed, and yet.. their faces contorted to a look of relief.

Carried to a car in the arms of the sister, making idle chatter as if nothing wrong had happened. Shoving thoughts, memories of the nights spent sobbing and bleeding, the times after being pulled out of death simply because of a rare "blessing", to the back of a mind. Everything would be okay now.

Being nursed back to health. Warm blankets and familiar faces, hugs and kisses and warm meals. Finally gaining some sort of humanity back that had been wrenched away. A new leg, one of shining metal; finally able to stand. Finally free. Finally okay. Well, hopefully.

The guys are younger in this than the movie. The gif search is more of a dumpster fire than last year (esp Charlie it’s all charlie with crack ships 😭) so I gave up searching for the exact gifs I wanted. These are close enough. Gif credit to gif makers.

Will and Benny POV

This could be bullshit.

They wouldn’t be surprised.

Within three months the Miller family as they knew it fell apart.

They were the family with the nice big house, military father, a room full of awards, everything had its place. Who would have known the man who freaked when his sons' misplaced things created the biggest mess of all.

Their father has always been a hard man, closed off, lacking affection. Thankfully the household wasn’t totally absent from it. Mom was reserved too, but softer. She’d give hugs and encouraging smiles. The most affectionate of all, the most open was their grandma.

It’s one of the many reasons the brothers got so close and depended on each other. Without that, things would have been a lot lonelier.

Their father worked a lot, often off on missions and spending lots of time away from home. The older they got, the more it seemed he didn’t want to be there. Maybe in reaction to that, their mother started to shut down too.

When it was time for Will to leave the house, he didn’t want to leave Benny behind, but it was time. Benny was still in High school then.

Their father was always a mystery, a man who barely showed emotions outside of his anger, a trait he unfortunately passed down to them both.

Because he was so closed off, Will figured he had some skeletons in his closet, he also wondered if his father was always this way or not.

Of all the secrets he could imagine, this wasn’t one of them. They have a younger brother. He’s closer to Benny in age than Will and grew up in Detroit.

It was hard to get the full story. And Will's mother fully shut down once it came out. She clearly didn’t know either.

From what Will could gather, their brother was with his birth mother until age 7 or 8. A woman his father had an affair with. The kid somehow ended up in foster care and was eventually cared for by a woman named Evelyn.

“Are you ready for this?”

Benny asked, he’s seated in the passenger seat and staring right at Will.

“I don’t know,” Will gripped the steering wheel tighter as he shook his head.

They go by they/them pronouns and are from an old Minecraft server I had with friends that I sorta re wrote to work with them better

They have Eisoptrophobia, the fear of reflective objects

They have wrist troubles, used to be really bad but are better now

Ok so Ender grew in the foster system with their best friend Matthew, when they were 16 they left the system and spent the next 3 years living in different places meeting people (such as Alexander and Rex mentioned later) before finding a ravine to call home home

Ender grew a bit closed off and hid a few valuables, which Matthew later found by chance, but when Matthew was exiled away because he had started a fight with Rex, Ender made sure to visit and bring him some valuables in this time of need.

Ender thought it was deserved, but rex was never punished for fighting Matthew back despite everything.

(Now remember how I said this was a Minecraft server) Matthew got trapped in the End, he was meaning to kill the Enderdragon and take back the egg as a peace offering for Rex but instead realized that he was very un prepared.

Alex and Ender went to save him, and when I say Alex and Ender I mean Alex because Ender was scared out of their fucking mind and much rather kept Matthew safe under a mushroom fighting off Ender man and giving Alex food. After this Ender would work to train in hope to be better in the future, maybe even getting a bit to good when they get… corrupted.

The three were victorious, but it all went down from there (oh also Matthew and Alex kissed) Ender, for the first time, got corrupted by this virus that had been outside, Alex was also corrupted but broke out after he killed Matthew(Matthew was revived he was fine… for now) The corruption led Ender to speak their mind, reveal Alex secrets and really just piss the other two off, once Matthew found out how to reverse the corruption (after Alex kinda blinded them in one of the eyes), Ender wasn’t quite the same.

Whenever they looked at a reflective serface they would see their corrupted self looking back at them. The corruption was gone, they were themselves, right? Why did they always see that corrupted version of themselves in the mirror if it was truly gone? This lead to them to avoiding the reflective spaces completely

They decided to be the opposite of their corrupted self, drinking with Alex (Despite Ender only being 19), and rekindling their relationship with Rex, helping him with this slime person that showed at his house one day and helping them decide a name, Though we’re keeping themselves separate from Matthew (Think Evelyn Evelyn and that’s these two)

But when on an outing with Vast, someone they didn’t really always get along with, a frenemies relationship, they ended up finding a corruption patch, which Vast, not understanding what it was, pushed them into it, mostly on accident thinking it was a funny. When they got back the corruption fully taken control of their body, Matthew, doing it before, decided he could snap them out of it, leading to anger serging in the corruption, Killing Matthew, this time he was dead for good. Alex ended up getting the corruption out of Ender but outcasted them despite killing Matthew once himself.

Over taken with grief Ender left the ravine going back to their old home where they met a weird 17 year old named Allium who had been living alone for a while. Despite never wanting to be attached to someone again, Allium was a fresh start. Ender trauma blocked and ended up forgetting all that happened, occasionally having flash backs, but now they adventure with Allium, who’s one of the kindest people they ever met

Mia: oh going sm canonverse here. Even if it wasn't for not being clueless about emerald's natural hostility regarding anyone that catches demande's eye, sorry but everything about her be half assed loyalty and superficial obsession down turning it into aggressive possessiveness, to that godamn laugh, it's a good thing there are no chairs nearby because my gurl have HAD ENOUGH 😀

Evelyn's situation wow okay got a minute? Cuz this is coming for me as I type,,, isn't as much as dislike as it is either mild irritation or intimidation in case ofsuperiors... but a close pick would surpsingly be her "foster parent" figure who I haven't exactly picked a name to yet but probably juliet. Like yes girl reminds herself on daily basis this woman's the reason she wasn't tossed longer to die in some dark alley and there are points to the things she said especially in the early days taking evy in about Evelyn's overly sheltered outlook on the world but

More than once she came to figure this lady is a mad hypocrite turning out quite prejudiced, first known instance being her asking evy to come with her for a certain task , and in a tone the girl couldn't tell was cynical or genuine saying "to see some evil creatures". One time even muttering under her breathe "if I'm stupid for my lackings back then, what does that make you...?". Then it's slowly began with her struggling to surpress a groan of annoyance whenever this lady opens her mouth. They have that inevitable rift as soon as Evelyn's eyes open to her situation, that maybe she's not under any better influence after all, and quite ironically the very source indirectly tells her that.

🌧️ What is the favorite thing for your OC to do on a rainy day?:

Mia: ohh that's where she could get quite creative :3 writing down poetry or scribbling a certain white haired man's portrait during the wait of having something hot she's craving cooking. (Most of the time it's soup or spaghetti). But also wander around her own room and reminisce about certain possessions of hers.

Evelyn: actually likely it catches her off-guard amidst of work. So as soon as she's back home all up for a warm bath and nothing more as far as she's concerned, okay that's a lie maybe some warm drink too I suppose 🤧(⁠ -▽- ⁠)

Looking down at the bloodied notebook he'd resented for so long stuffed into his bedside table, Rayan sighed. He swore to never re-read the notebook, reluctant to live out the years of captivity he went through, but.. he just couldn't handle it.

Vigorously snatching the notebook up, he flopped down onto his bed, drawing his knees up to his chest and wrapping bandaged arms around them. He despised how the damned thing felt so right in his hands; it fit in his grasp perfectly, cold and familiar.

He'd never admit it, but it took him a while to even start the first page, let alone open the notebook itself. He just stared at the cover, at the stickers — worn down with time, scratched or even peeling and ripped— caked in dried blood. His dried blood.

But eventually, to his own dismay, his finger clasped tighter around the notebook, and with strangely baited breath he flicked open to the first page. It seemed as though a nice little trip down memory lane was in order.

Zayn never exactly had a purpose for a notebook. Ring bound with multiple stickers he'd collected during their childhood stuck onto the cover, he just didn't know what to do with it. The useless thing was just.. laying around; plus, he had a diary of his own now. Esrana told him to give it to "the thing in the basement". And her reasoning behind giving it to Rayan? It was because both of them were useless. Great.

"Hey. I've got this for you. Es told me to hand it to you since I don't need it. It'll keep you occupied!" Rayan distinctly remembered Zayn telling him that before setting the notebook down in front of him, his soft Welsh accent ringing pleasantly in his ears.

Alas, Zayn handed it to Rayan during one of their visits, along with two pens. One's ink was in black, the other was in blue, since the former didn't know which colour he preferred. Looking back, it seemed to Rayan that he preferred blue, and the black pen he must've used to doodle and scribble in the margin of each page or wherever else he could fit it.

They promised to give Rayan new pens whenever they ran out and, as usual, he stuck to it; not once did Rayan see even a hint of the ink on either of the pens running dry.

The first few pages were worn and torn, some having been ripped out entirely. The ones that weren't were filled with notes in Zayn's unusually neat script about god knows what — from his time in school to his mother and Esrana, from simple reminders to full paragraphs of rambles. Rayan didn't have the heart to judge them, even now.

A couple pages after, and it was the start of Rayan's own ramblings. Oh, how Rayan dreaded this moment.

He set the notebook down in his lap, evergreen eyes skimming over the pages.

I don't know how this is meant to benefit me. Sure, the notebook's nice and all, I like it. I don't know. There's not much I can write in here, since my captivity isn't very special. I guess I can just I think nevermind. I'll just ramble about fuck all.

I hate this place. I can hardly sleep because I keep hearing footsteps from the floor above this fucking basement. I don't know how many of them there are. I know about the guy with the bat, and the one who keeps staring at me and who I've never really seen blinking yet, and the girl who's Zayn's sister. That's all. I swear there's more of them, though.

I can't be sure. But, at least Zayn gives me food and also gave me a blanket and some pillows so I can sleep. Sure, the ground isn't comfortable, but I can somewhat lay on the pillows, which is good enough. Totally not as if my back hurts already and this is just making it worse. Totally not. Why am I even mad at Zayn?

I'm gonna try and sleep. Emphasis on try. Everything hurts.

"God's sake.." Rayan mumbled hoarsely, pinching the bridge of his nose. He had to admit, that one wasn't all bad. But, he knew worse was to come.

He flicked over to the next page.

There's more of them. It's- this is ridiculous. Fucking Ezra???

I can't believe he'd side with them. Hell, I don't know what to say anymore. Fuck this shit.

I also keep getting hurt by the bat guy; their names Foster, apparently. I don't wanna explain what they did with that stupid fucking bat of theirs, other than they hit me somewhere on the back and it really hurts because they screwed fucking nails into the bat. I hate this.

I don't even know what I did wrong.

Rayan scoffed. "'I don't even know what I did wrong', my ass.."

His attention turned to the next page. A little more blood was splattered across the paper, and there were obvious signs he'd been crying when he wrote this.

Everything fucking hurts. More and more of them keep coming down and torturing me and hurting me and I'm just sick of this shit. I can't get even a moment of fucking peace anymore. What did I do?

He was surprised how short this one was. He couldn't remember why he had cut it so short in the first place.

Writing this whilst Zayn bandages me up. I'm so tired. So much has been going on.

Madir, he. He cut off my fucking leg. I had tried to escape by attacking Foster and getting out of the basement, and I was so fucking close when Madir got me (Madir's the one who keeps staring. I don't know what his problem is). Then.. I don't even wanna remember.

The torture's been getting worse. Esrana threw me out a window at one point. They've also found out that, despite me being immortal, I can somewhat die if they slit my throat. They keep doing it, and from what I understand they play some sort of game where they compete and the winner is the person who keeps me "dead" for the longest. So far, I think Ezra has.

I should've never started killing people. I've already served my time in prison, and now this? I don't deserve this I think I deserve it, though.

Next page, and this time Rayan had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop himself from tearing up.

There's so much blood. The floor is stained with it, my restraints are stained with it, Hell, even my bed. Thankfully, Zayn let me out of the restraints so I can write.

I swear, this is the only thing I can rely on to not lose my fucking mind. The smell of blood and.. other stuff is intoxicating, I hate it. I hate this. I hate Esrana, and Foster, and Zayn, and Madir, and Ezra, and Fletcher— God, fucking Fletcher! We were friends! And now he just watches me waste away here?!

I've felt too sick to eat and sleep. I don't care anymore. I doubt people even remember me. I hope Maddie's okay. And Vee. And.. I don't know. Who do I have?

I'm gonna try and escape. I can't walk, given my leg from the thigh down is missing, but.. whatever. I'll manage.

I deserve this.

Rayan's spare hand ran over his prosthetic leg, sighing. He never realized how much he himself had suffered. It all felt unreal. It's why he thought about it as if it were just a story, or a silly nightmare. Everything was silly at this point.

He flicked past the other pages, skimming through them, until one near the end of the notebook caught his eyes. Reading cautiously, he placed his chin on his hand and couldn't help but notice his handwriting was more neat. And no blood was splattered on the page.

It's my birthday! I forgot how old I am. I'm in the hospital right now, I think. It's a long story, but I'm alone right now, save for Maddie sleeping and Vee idly talking to me. I've got plenty of time.

The Survivors got arrested. I escaped from the police - they scare me, okay? I thought they were gonna hurt me - and went to god-knows-where. I stayed homeless for a time, occasionally couch surfing or staying at a new friend's house. She's called Evelyn. She's nice.

Anyway. Maddie and Vee eventually found me, and took me home and then (after seeing how shitty I looked) took me to the hospital instead. It's been a funny couple of days, especially with me learning that these doctors don't want to hurt me and that the things being put into my body won't harm me, but.. at least I'm free. They're gonna get me a prosthetic soon.

I get to see Vesk again. I get to see Theo. And Maddie's fiance, Vivian. Maddie's reluctant to invite me to the wedding, since she knows I need time to recover, but I can tell she really does want to.

Something feels wrong, though. That I don't deserve to rest. I keep imagining restraints around me. I keep hearing them laugh. I keep.. nevermind. It's fine, though.

I don't think I'm gonna be sharing what's in this notebook. It's better to keep it a secret. I don't want people worrying about me more than they already are. Especially Maddie.

Maddie's waking up, I think. I'm home now. I think. I'm gonna be okay now. I think. I don't know. I hope so.

Rayan suddenly glanced up as he heard his bedroom door creak open, squinting up at Vanté. He was a mere silhouette against the absurdly bright hallway light. The notebook slammed shut.

"Hi, Vee." They both grinned.

"Hey," The demon responded, his deep voice rumbling pleasantly in Rayan's ears. "Mum's called you down three times, cause we're going out for dinner today. She said you can bring Tadhg if you want to, too. You coming?"

He chuckled, getting up with a soft groan and setting his notebook down, grabbing a jacket as he spoke. "Yeah, yeah, I'll be down in a sec. Is this—" he gestured to his outfit— "too flashy?"

"Of course not," Vanté waved off his question with a smile. "It's perfect."

"Oh, hush."

Both of them couldn't help but laugh. Vanté's diamond eyes glanced downwards, noticing the notebook. "What's that?"

"Huh-? Oh, that?" Rayan chuckled nervously, quickly shoving the book under his pillow. "Just a uh- a thing."

The demon didn't respond directly, but gave him a knowing smile. Rayan had an inkling the demon had experienced something similar to what he himself was feeling.

Before the silence could get more uncomfortable than it already was, the demon grabbed the immortal's hand and dragged him out of the room, earning a surprised laugh from the latter. "Come on, lazy ass. Don't bother getting platforms, it's a long walk.

"Awwhh, we're not driving there?"

"It's not that bad, kid."

"Hey- I'm not a kid!"

"You are to me!"

They both laughed. Maybe life wasn't that bad after all.

Aeon's Domain

Creates a domain within a radius of 100 meters from the user wherein the environment can be changed to whatever the user desires; it can be an exact replica of where the user is, or a completely different setting. Madison can change the environment to her will and in a matter of seconds. When this ability is in effect, the environment may turn into a shade of red or be immediately fine-tuned to replicate an environment.

This domain entraps any being in its radius, essentially "transporting" them into a parallel world/environment that the user creates. Non-stand users can also be confined within the domain but once Madison sees or senses someone who may be in danger, she can bring them out of the domain ala quickly "vaporizing" them into thin air. Madison can also use the environment against a target whether that would mean manipulating conditions in that setting such as weather or temperature, or using elements from the surroundings directly against the target.

WEAKNESSES:

The 100m radius does not move with Madison. Once she sets up the domain in a certain spot, Scarlet Aeon will stay hidden there and be rendered immobile to act as the energy for maintaining the domain. If an enemy detects the location of her stand, they may inflict damage on Scarlet Aeon. This will then endanger both Madison and the domain's state.

Anyone in the domain (ally, enemy, or civilian) is trapped and can only escape it if Madison either: deactivates it, an ally asks Madison to take them out of the domain, she takes the person out of the domain, or if she takes severe/life-endangering damage.

If she takes someone out of the domain, she cannot bring them back in. This is because the domain acts as a world/universe/environment separate of that from which they left.

(5/15/2023) Finally updated this profile after almost a year? Sheesh.... Well! You at the very least know a bit about Madison's family now. I hope to disclose more of their background in the coming months! Friends who know a bit about the lore would know it's a Lot of Pain™️ but we'll get her a happy ending eventually once I introduce her inclusion in SDC's plot!
