Hexadecahedron is someone who is inherently stuck between two places, between the 9th and the source, between life and death. Eros Wyrmwood is a biomedical engineer, someone who has pushed his research right up to the point that immortality might actually be possible. And yet hes met someone, someone who needs his help, someone who's already lived the aftermath of his amibition.

Hex's life of living in the fast lane as an Arcadion fighter has destroyed his body and soul, leaving him with psychonecrosis. The disappearence of his closest friend unravels his life even further, as the holes left in his memory unnerve him like nothing else.

It comes to a point one day when Hex is fighting in the ring. He takes a blow to the head, and his regulator falls off. However, his opponent doesn't notice or stop. In the moment, Hex fights back, harder than he would have otherwise. The last thing he recalls before passing out is seeing the light leave his opponent's eyes.

The moment everything starts to make sense is the moment Hex is zapped away to the Source, depicted by him falling.

Hex walks into the corrie medbay after a mission his eyes are slightly teary, and he has specks of red on the few white bits of his armor he walks to Ratchet punching the older medic hard in the arm before leaning against him with his eyes closed

(Vod’ika you’re making me cry in both a good and sad way because I’ve missed this so much and I’m so sorry about all the others that won’t get answered)

Ratchet doesn’t look up from his datapad till he feels the punch, ready to glare at Hex till he sees the look on the medics face. He sighs before he throws the datapad on his desk beside him and gently runs a hand through Hex’s hair. “Hey there vod’ika….come on.” He whispers before leading Hex back to where the other medics slept.

He sits Hex down on Stitch’s bunk before starting to take off the top of Hex’s armor. “The kark did you get into vod’ika?” He asks as he looks over all the injuries Hex has. “I’m cleaning you up whether you like it or not.” Ratchet walks over to get what little supplies he has then comes back over to Hex, working on cleaning up Hex’s wounds. “It’s not bacta but it’ll have to do.”

Once he’s done he sits down next to Hex, wrapping his arm around his vod’ika. Ratchet doesn’t say anything, only sitting there in silence with Hex for any kind of comfort he’s able to give. “Stay here for a little bit ok? Rest. Stitch will be by in a minute I’m sure. We’re all here for you.”
