FAVOURITE OC: emory chan from merry crisis. also because the qiu brainrot is currently taking over my entire being but yeah. despite the pride emory feels in making her dream as a musician happen, she carries the guilt from knowing it’s not exactly what her parents want for her. she’s the typical eldest daughter who acts as a third parent. another favorite is maya quimby from golden. i wrote a whole list of facts about her a while back so idk what else to say but that’s My Girl. she’s so so special to me <3

OLDEST OC: sutton hart from midnight hours. before she became an iaos hunter, she was a detective in wayhaven. she’s very ambitious and curious. she’s definitely one of those people who have bucket lists and actually plans to do the things on her list. she felt like wayhaven is too small for her dreams so she left and now she’s in new york

MEANEST OC: cloe hoffman from infamous. idk if i should call her mean but she’s bratty and she complains a lot LMAO literally orion’s nightmare. cloe loves the spotlight and isn’t too bothered being part of the drama as long as attention is on her. because bad publicity is still publicity 🤷🏻‍♀️ she hasn’t done much self-reflection so she’s not yet aware that it stems from her parents not giving her enough attention when she was young. i think once she gains enough self-awareness, she’ll realize that it’s actually her thinking “they didn’t notice me when i was a good kid. maybe they’ll notice me now”

SOFTEST OC: piper ellis from midnight hours. another former detective from wayhaven. she’s a huge disney fan. she keeps tickets (plane, concerts, movies, amusement parks, etc) and pins them on a cork board alongside polaroid pictures. she’s introverted, soft spoken and sooo shy. she’s so easily flustered that she makes nikolas look like the biggest flirt 😭 also kirsten adler from golden. she’s sentimental and timid but less introverted than piper. she’s just self-conscious because she knows that one wrong move and the media will twist it into something that can ruin her dad’s image. she talks nonstop once you bring up something she’s extremely passionate about <3

MOST ALOOF/STANDOFFISH OC: lira kinsley from golden. she’s not a snob but she’s tired of people buttering her up for connections. when she’s moody, she straight up tells the person “my dad’s right there.” she’s selective of who she lets in to her social circle

DUMBEST (AFFECTIONATE) OC: riley cromwell from college tennis. she’s not dumb but clown blood flows in her veins <3 she can be unapologetically cringe lololol one dumb thing i’d say she does is barely controlling her junk food intake and justifying it with “i play tennis a lot. it’s fine”

SMARTEST OC: annika munroe from arcadia city. not because she’s a genius whatsoever. she just reads a lot and constantly tries to stay informed. also because she loves it when people argue with her and the looks on their faces when she ends up being right. she used to be one of my wayhaven detectives as well.

OC I’D BE FRIENDS WITH: sutton. but also because i can put her in any if i play and she’ll end up being friends with someone there 😭 she’s loving, nurturing and thoughtful and she’s very expressive about it. i think it’s also due to having dated immortals (first, nate. now, kian. she likes old men ig) that really put into perspective how short her life is and how quickly time passes. she’s trying to learn how to not overextend herself but sometimes she just can’t help it. being affectionate comes naturally for her

Characters that I think should star in a Spiderverse Fanfiction

Ok so in previous chapters I wrote about characters that Miles Morales would meet, team up with, or fight as Spider-man. Mostly Bailey Briggs aka Spider-Boy and the Gwen clones from the Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clone saga. And in some Spiderverse stories he is seen fighting the Tinkerer (Phin Mason) from the Spider-man: Miles Morales video game. However, there are many more characters in the Marvel comics that may not be as well-known, but I think should be featured in a Spiderverse fanfiction. Maybe Miles can team up with them, maybe he can fight them, the possibilities are up to you the fanfic writers. So here is a list of Marvel characters that I think should star in a Spiderverse fanfiction and why. Hope you enjoy.

1.) Ellie Ellison aka Necroko from the "Extreme Venomverse" Comics Ellie Ellison is a shy high school student who had bonded with a Venom symbiote and became a Sailor Moon-themed superhero known as Necroko. When I first discovered her, I never thought someone could look both scary and Adorable at the same time. For more information about Necroko you may check out the link below.

2.) Itsy Bitsy from the "Spider-man/Deadpool" comics Itsy Bitsy is an unnamed woman that willingly let herself become mutated with the combined abilities of Spider-man and Deadpool. Now in the original comics Itsy Bitsy almost gaslighted Spider-man into killing her which caused Deadpool to intervene and stop him. But in a Spiderverse fanfic I was thinking maybe instead Itsy Bitsy would be kidnapped, forcibly mutated, and have her mind erased. Which would then lead Miles to discover her and team up with her while trying to help discover who she used to be. As for her personality I was thinking she would be like DC Harley Quinn, Crazy but funny. For more details about Itsy Bitsy you may check out the link below

3.) Billie Morales from the Miles Morales: Spider-man comics Billie Morales is basically Miles Morales baby sister that was born when Miles is in High school. It would be interesting and fun to see how Miles tries to handle school, Spider-man and being a big brother. Plus, I'm sure the rest of the Spider-Gang would absolutely adore her, and Mayday would love to have a new playmate. See the link at the bottom for more details.

4.) New Agent Venom Variant In the Marvel Universe many people have taken up the mantle (and symbiote) of "Agent Venom" People like Flash Thompson, Eddie Brock, Anne Weying, Eugene Thompson, Even Peter Parker. But I have an idea for a new OC Agent venom and that person is Addy Brock. Now Addy Brock was a character in the "Edge of Spider-Geddon" comics. She was a student with Peni Parker and the pilot of the VEN#m suit. Unfortunately, she was killed when the VEN#M suit went rouge and consumed her along with Peni's Aunt May. I guess this was considered one of Peni's "Canon Events". It would be interesting to see how Peni would react to meeting a new Variant of her deceased friend with a perfect bond with her symbiote, since I'm going to assume Peni would have some form of PTSD with any kinds of symbiotes.

Nora lives in Diamond City for most of the fic, and spends most of her time with Nick, Piper, Ellie, and Nat--and Dogmeat, of course. The four adults in the group don't often have time where they're not working, but they are friends and do genuinely enjoy each others company, so they spend their downtime together, as well.

As far as travelling companions, Nick is almost always with her since they work together, and later, Deacon and then X6 are for the same reason.

Later in my fic, Duncan moves to the Commonwealth, and he and MacCready move to Sanctuary. Once Nora and Shaun settle down there as well, the four of them spend a lot of time together. I imagine Duncan and Shaun are good friends--as well as Nat, too, when she and Piper visit.

Relationships asks: know, for good, companions, fate, and meet strange

Thank you, these were some really good questions! Answering for Mercy & Reed.

Know: How well does your OC know themself—their wants, their goals, their motivations? Do they engage in any sort of self-reflection? Is there anything about themself they willfully ignore?

Reed: He ...vaguely knows himself. There's a lot of things that he's aware of but doesn't want to acknowledge or deal with, and he makes a point not to do any self-reflection. Reed has a very bad habit of ignoring his wants, and specifically the ones that involve other people and him being more open, honest, and vulnerable. He's aware that he does this, he's aware that it's awful for his mental health, and he's aware that it's caused him to miss opportunities to actually get what he wants on more than one occasion but he refuses to acknowledge that and do anything to change it.

Mercy: She's pretty self-aware in general and she frequently self-reflects to keep herself in check. She also has a bit of a habit of ignoring her desire to be close with people, but she's at least aware of it and knows that it's a bit of a defense mechanism from losing so many people in her life. She's hesitant but ultimately willing to work on that after she thinks it through a few times.

For Good: Is there anyone in your OC's life who had an undeniable positive impact on who they are as a person? How did knowing this person improve your OC's life?

This is going to sound so sappy but Reed & Mercy had hugely positive impacts on each other. Their prewar lives were pretty tumultuous due to both of them being in active duty, so having a constant person around(and specifically one with many common core traits, and many similar + shared experiences) got them through a lot of hard times. Reed helps Mercy a lot with stepping back from her work and not getting so hyperfixated on it + encouraging her to have more whimsy, and Mercy helps Reed with being more emotionally available, slowing down and making less impulsive decisions, and encouraging him to deal with various issues that he’d otherwise try to avoid.

Additionally for Mercy: Her post-Enclave partner, Frances, had a huge impact on Mercy turning herself around and unlearning all of the shit she'd picked up in the military & Enclave. She strongly encouraged Mercy to pick up her prewar projects and rework them into something that'd actually help others. She also unintentionally encouraged Mercy's self-righteous side and taught her a lot of the skills she later used for bounty hunting during her drifter era.

Companions: Is your OC part of an adventuring group? A band of travelers? A guild, a team, a crew? What's the group dynamic, and how does your OC feel about their companions?

Reed's core group is Piper, Nick Valentine(+ Ellie), Delta, & Ada and his main romantic interests are Deacon & Danse. The overall dynamic they have leans into the found family area; Nick's sort of a mentor/parent figure to Reed, and his relationships with Piper, Ellie, Delta, & Ada are platonic and he sees them more as siblings than just close friends. Reed is very close friends with Deacon and Danse too, but both of those relationships have a romantic aspect as well - he and Deacon shift into sort of a queerplatonic relationship after they officially break up, and his relationship with Danse starts heading in that direction but it's up in the air after Blind Betrayal occurs.

Mercy tends to be more of a loner when it comes to adventuring - she rarely travels with other people, but she frequently has an animal companion(typically some wasteland flavor of horse and/or dog). During her New Vegas era she picks up Raul, Veronica, ED-E, and Arcade as traveling companions but they part ways when she opts to head back to the East coast. Her relationships with all of them are relatively casual and mostly platonic; she does end up with a bit of a crush on Veronica, but that doesn't go anywhere and she gets over it.

Fate: Does your OC believe in destined meetings? True love, soulmates, hearing the bells? Have they ever experienced this?

Reed: Not really. He doesn't believe in destinies and doesn't put much(or any) thought into things like soulmates. As far as experiences go: he wouldn’t admit it but Mercy’s somewhere in that genre for him, and Deacon is too but in more of a platonic manner.

Mercy: Vaguely. She does believe that destiny is a thing(though not all that important in the grand scheme of things) and she does think that some people are just meant to be together. As far as experiences go - she believes that her past partner from her Wyoming era was probably her soulmate, and she'd consider Reed to be something along those lines.

Meet Strange: What's the most memorable way your OC has ever met a new person? Was it a good experience? Bad experience? Just plain weird? How's their relationship with that person now?

Reed: His introduction to Delta is a mess. So he initially sees them while they’re set up shop at Bunker Hill - and he freaks out because from one side Delta looks pretty much identical to prewar Mercy. Reed’s under the impression that Mercy died on the other side of the country 200 years earlier so there’s no reason why she’d be selling scrap and robot parts in postwar Boston. He briefly talks to Delta and they obviously don’t recognize him, and he notices their synth features, and he just goes full panic mode and takes off because that is too much. After that he routinely runs into Delta because his main settlements are in their trade route, & he panics and leaves, & Delta’s sketched out and concerned. Reed eventually uncovers some info regarding old DNA samples that had been stored in one of the prewar labs near Cambridge and connects one of them back to Mercy + he gets some info on Delta’s origin from the Railroad, and he eventually gets himself to talk to them & things get better from there. Reed and Delta actually end up being really good friends, it just takes a while for Reed to work things out.

Mercy: She barely remembers it but her initial intro to Benny is getting shot, so.. that counts for something, I think. The actual intro she fully remembers is also a terrible experience since that's when she meats him in the Tops. He obviously gets killed in that whole ordeal so they don’t exactly have a relationship.

For Good: Is there anyone in your OC’s life who had an undeniable positive impact on who they are as a person? How did knowing this person improve your OC’s life?

Meeting her husband Dana was the start of an overall upswing in her life. They met when Nora was waitressing to get through college; Dana was also in college and frequently studied at the diner she worked at. They didn't hit it off immediately (Nora doesn't hit it off immediately with anyone), but after a few semesters she agreed to spend some time getting to know him outside of the customer/server dynamic.

One important thing to Nora was that even when Dana didn't or couldn't understand where she was coming from or why she felt the way she did, he always tried to be supportive--not by just agreeing with her on everything of course, but by reminding her to be mindful and talking through her feelings with her. He treated her like a person during a very difficult time in her life when she didn't have a support network.

Obviously Nick also has a positive impact on her life, but that gets broken down in the fic I'm writing so I won't rehash it here.

For Bad: Is there anyone who had an undeniable negative impact on your OC’s life? How did your OC deal with that change? Have they been able to move on?

Shaun/Father, poorly, and god no. Uh... spoilers. I will say that relationship and its fallout (heheh pun) is one of the big reasons I'm writing this fic in the first place.

Family: What’s your OC’s family like? Is it a family of blood, choice, or something else? How does your OC feel about their blood relations? If they have a family of choice, how did they come together?

Her blood relations were not always great--there's Shaun/Father of course, and her relationship with her mother was skewed toward young Nora being the caretaker instead of getting to be a child, and her relationship with her youngest sister soured after their middle sister's death. She did have a good relationship with her grandmother, but she lived nearly halfway across the country, so Nora didn't get to spend much time with her.

Nora's current family is very much one of choice. Obviously the fic gets into specifics of how they came together, but I will say her closest relationships are Nick, Ellie, Piper, and Nat, and then later Deacon, Glory, Danse, X6, and Preston. DiMA gets in there too after a few years.

Meet Strange: What’s the most memorable way your OC has ever met a new person? Was it a good experience? Bad experience? Just plain weird? How’s their relationship with that person now?

Somewhat fittingly her weirdest meeting (for now) was with Deacon. A day after she's shot for the first time she's doing laundry at Bunker Hill and he approaches her in a moment she's alone and just. Sits down and starts talking to her, and then starts helping her with her laundry. It's weird in that he's a complete stranger (to her; he's obviously comfortable with her at this point).

Then Nick comes back from doing what he was doing and he doesn't say "Is this guy bothering you, doll?" but that's the energy the scene has. And then he realizes Deacon looks familiar and Deacon is like "Okay byeee nice to meet you :)" and skates.

It's weird enough that both Nora and Nick recognize him immediately the next time they see him. Obviously as Nora joins the Railroad and works alongside him, her relationship with Deacon winds up fine. Sibling-like, even.

I haven't quite nailed down how she meets Mac, Cait, and Strong, since they're secondary characters in this fic, but I will almost certainly be changing it from canon, so those meetings may wind up stranger in the end.

I sat outside the café, patiently waiting for my friend to show. As usual, Eliana was casually late. I hadn’t been here long. I even made myself purposely late myself, thinking it would give her more time. It didn’t.

“Piper!” I heard her shout. Within seconds she was in my view and taking the seat in front of me. Despite my irritation, I gave her a friendly smile. “I’m so sorry I’m late, a friend of mine had a situation and needed my help.”

It was her downfall, being such a good friend, but I loved her for it. I settled for a shrug. “It’s okay, El. Glad you could still make it. We don’t get much time to ourselves, you know.”

She smiled at me, but the look in her eyes was apologetic. “I know, but I hope you don’t mind I invited-“ she stopped mid sentence to wave at someone behind me. “I might have invited him to our friend date.”

“Him?” I questioned. My answer quickly arrived at our table, taking a seat to my left. The man that sat down was handsome, and that was an understatement. His smile was what caught my attention first. Charming, cute, sweet. His muscular build was the next thing that I couldn’t take my eyes off of.

“Piper, this is Changbin. Binnie, this is my best friend, Piper.” Eliana introduced us. I was still taken aback by his appearance to react properly.

“It’s nice to meet you, Piper. You can call me Binnie, like Ellie does.” His smile grew wider, causing my brain to short circuit.

“Oh. Yes, of course. It’s nice to meet you too, Binnie.” I gave Eliana a glance, letting her know she wasn’t out of the woods yet.

“I don’t mean to impose,” he began. “Ellie said you wouldn’t mind if I crashed your friend date, though, and I could really use a friend right now.” The blush on his face made me wonder.

“It’s perfectly fine.” I stated. “Did something happen?”

“He caught his girlfriend with someone else,” Eliana announced. I gave her a glare, letting her know that it wasn’t her information to share. I turned back to Changbin, giving him a sympathetic look.

“I know about that all too well, Binnie. I’m sorry to hear that.” I took a sip of my water, remembering finding my husband in bed with his co-worker. At our house. In our bed.

I flagged down a waitress, hoping to detour the conversation away from the negative. It didn’t take long for her to walk to our table and take our orders.

“Binnie,” Eliana smiled at her friend. “Why don’t you tell Piper a bit about yourself.”

I gave her another warning glare. For what, I wasn’t sure this time. Feeling satisfied with my silent threat, I turned and smiled at Changbin. His ears were tipped in a red blush, giving him a boyishly cute appearance.

“Well,” he sighed. His eyes finally fell on me. “I’m actually an idol.”

I gave him a surprised look. “Wow, really? How are you able to be out in public, right now?”

He gave me a crooked smile, causing butterflies to erupt in the pit of my stomach. “We are visiting here. We had a concert a few days ago and had some time before we go back to Seoul.”

Now I was confused. “But El said you caught your girlfriend with someone else.”

He looked away. “She came with us.”

He didn’t need to say anything more about the topic. “Gotcha,” I whispered. “I bet that plane ride will be somewhat awkward.”

“I told him to let her find her own way back home,” Eliana grunted before taking a sip of her drink.

I nodded at her statement. “I have to say I agree with El. Let the bitch figure it out by herself. If she’s big enough to cheat, then she’s big enough to get home on her own.”

Changbin snorted humorously at me. His smile made his eyes turn into adorable little crescent moons, making my butterflies flutter even more. Why did he have to look like that? Damn!

“See?!” Eliana shouted, gesturing across the table at me. “I told you she would understand. Thank you, Piper!”

I chuckled at her antics, shrugging. “Cheating doesn’t sit well with me. Having gone through it myself, I understand the pain. Just feel blessed you hadn’t put a ring on that one, yet.” I lifted my water as if to cheers to what I said.

“Ouch,” Changbin grimaced. “I take it your recently divorced?”

I nodded. “Finalized seven months ago. Still hanging in there, though. Eliana helped me through a lot of it.”

“Since we are on the topic, and it involves your cute, little gremlin, how is Dahlia doing? I can only assume she’s with her dad since she didn’t come with you.” Eliana smiled at the mention of my daughter.

“Actually, she’s with my mom. Her dad had other arrangements today.” I rolled my eyes, giving indication to my annoyance. Eliana scoffed, rolling her eyes as well.

“You have a child?” Changbin asked, his brows furrowed together in confusion.

“Yep. Apparently, getting married and having a kid wasn’t enough to keep him away from other women.” I sighed, the negativity of the conversation effecting me more than it should.

Changbin widened his eyes at my confession. It was Eliana who captured his attention with her phone, showing him a picture of my five year old daughter.

“This is her. She’s such an angel. Her horns hold up her halo, though.”

I smiled at my friend, gushing over my only child, with Changbin. To my surprise, Changbin cooed back. “She’s adorable! I can see she gets her looks from her mother.”

I choked on my water, taking a sip just as he made that comment. I waved off the concerned glares coming from the two seated with me, coughing and sputtering to catch my breath. I couldn’t believe he just blatantly complimented me using my daughter.

Before I could even recover, our food arrived, giving the perfect excuse to change the subject away from me. I thanked the waitress, giving her a teary smile and taking a deep breath from almost dying of asphyxiation.

“Wait,” I held up a hand before taking a bite. “You’re an idol.” I pointed to Changbin. “How in the hell did you two meet and become friends?”

Eliana giggled at my delayed reaction. “I can’t believe you just registered that.”

“Fan signing incident,” Changbin stated nonchalantly. He continued eating, the explanation left in the air between us three. I looked to Eliana for further information.

“Right,” she began. “It was after their fan signing. They were packing up and I kind of bumped into Han in the hall.”

“You plowed over him!” Changbin fell into a fit of laughter. “I witnessed every second of it. I couldn’t stop laughing!”

Eliana gave Changbin a playful glare. “It was an accident, I swear! But I ended up hitting my head against his, and Chan was so sweet. He told me to stay with them until they were finished to make sure I was okay.”

“It was fun watching you argue with Han about it. Forget crunches, just put those two in a room together and you will laugh so much you will grow abs.” Changbin took a deep breath, calming his laughing fit.

I shook my head at her and smiled. “How do you manage to get yourself into these situations, El?” She only held her hands up in surrender.

“It was truly hilarious,” Changbin giggled. “Han hated me so much for getting your number after that.”

“Yet, he’s the one that texts me daily. Not you.” Eliana sighed. “I think he’s obsessed with me.”

I couldn’t comprehend her words. Did she just say that she texted an idol daily? Was that even legal?

“I won’t deny that assumption. He constantly smiles at his phone when you two text. It’s almost sickening.” Changbin shook his head. “It’s not a bad thing, though.”

I couldn’t help but smile at how Eliana began stuttering over her words as she bickered with Changbin. He laughed at her, giving the butterflies more of a reason to flutter around. I decided it was finally time to let my best friend introduce me to their music. If it included the magnificent man sitting beside me, I wanted in on it. Rabbit hole, meet Piper.

Once we finished and paid for our food, I waved at them and began walking down the sidewalk to my car. I still had to make a short stop at the store before picking up Dahlia at my mom’s.

Before I drove off, I checked my phone. Thankfully, my mom didn’t expect this outing to be short. Especially since she gave me a small list of groceries to pick up at the store for her. I did, however, have a text from Eliana.

What did she mean? Why would I be thanking her? I shook my head slightly, shrugging off her texts and driving away to the store after saving his number to my phone.

I pulled up to my mom’s house an hour later, ready to go home and end my day, having quality time with my daughter. I grabbed the grocery bag that had my mom’s purchases and exited my car. As I walked to her door, my phone vibrated.

I smiled at Changbin’s theatrics before walking inside.

Once I entered, my daughter squealed and ran up to me, giving me a hug. “Mommy! I missed you!”

“I missed you, too! Where is mammaw?” I hugged her back, letting her direct me to the kitchen. There my mother stood, cooking my daughter instant Ramen on the stove.

“Mom, you’re going to ruin her dinner.” I whined.

“She insisted, Pippy. I can’t let my granddaughter starve.” She retorted playfully, using my childhood nickname.

I sighed, “That’s why you give her chocolate or other kinds of sweets like normal grandparents do.” I placed her bag on the island counter, leaning against it.

“I thought we established I’m not like other grandparents. I’m much cooler.” My mom gave Dahlia a wink, making her giggle. I smiled at their interaction before pulling my phone back out to reply to Changbin.

I blushed at his texts. Unsure how to reply to that one particularly, I turned my attention back to my mom. Regret set in as she was giving me a look that made me blush more.

“What?” I asked defensively.

“Nothing,” she waved the cooking spoon in the air before turning back to the stove to finish cooking. “Just curious why my daughter is blushing at her phone.”

“MOM!”

“What? It’s been seven months, Piper.” Now it was her turn to be defensive. “Just because you’re a mother doesn’t mean you can’t date.”

“I was with Eliana, not a guy.” I stated. It was half true. The plan was to have lunch with only Eliana, but she did bring her friend. Who happened to be a guy. You weren’t alone with him, though.

“I know that, dear. I’m just saying.” My mom plated the noodles and put them on the counter in front of Dahlia. She did a seated dance on the barstool, bringing the noodles closer to her and blowing on them.

“Okay, well, to appease your curiosity even a little, Eliana brought a friend with her today.” I looked away from my mom. “And I am texting him.”

My mom looked at me with bright eyes at that news.

“No, ma, don’t even get any ideas! He’s freshly single and way too out of my league.” I argued.

“Give yourself credit.”

I shook my head. “No, it’s true. He’s famous. He’s an idol.”

My mom gave me a confused look. “An idol?”

“Yeah. You know, like a K-pop idol.” I shrugged.

“So, he’s one of those pretty Korean boys?” She questioned.

“Oh my god, mom!” I was feeling so much regret telling her. “Pretty Korean boys? Really?”

She shrugged. “Well, some of them are pretty.”

I scoffed at her. This conversation was turning into an embarrassing moment for me. I couldn’t believe she called them ‘pretty Korean boys’ when she didn’t even listen to their music.

“I can appreciate attractive men, Piper.” She wasn’t wrong.

“Okay, okay. Just don’t call them pretty boys ever again. Please.” I ran my hand through my hair. “Anyways, he went through a similar situation as I did and met with Eliana during our friend date. He’s really nice and, not that it matters, so fucking hot.”

My mom smirked at me. More regret settled in my stomach. I just gave my own mother ammunition against me. Shit.

“Please, don’t.” I begged. “I’m not looking to date or hook up. He’s just a new friend.” I turned away. “Who called me pretty, but that is so irrelevant.”

“He called you pretty? Oooh, he’s laying it on thick, you better watch out.” Her sarcastic tone made me groan.

“You’re worse than El.” I mumbled. My phone vibrated, indicating a text.

I smiled at Changbin’s texts, earning a suspicious glance from my mom as she walked by me. I rolled my eyes before putting away my phone. I hurried Dahlia along and washed her dish before gathering her things to go home. Once out the door, Dahlia skipped to the car and got in. I helped her buckle up before entering the car and driving home.

Changbin’s POV

When I returned to the hotel, I was met by Hyunjin and Felix. Their looks of sympathy felt more like pity, but I knew better. They were my friends and band mates.

“Yah, Yongbok, Hyunjin-ah.” I greeted them.

“Hyung,” Felix gave me a smile. “Where were you? We looked for you earlier, but you had left.” His aussie accent mixed with his deep voice contrasted his young, boyish looks. He was a literal wonder of the world.

“I met up with Ellie and a friend of hers’ for lunch.” I shrugged. I pulled out my phone to find a text from the devil herself, giving me Piper’s number. She had also stated she gave Piper my number. Should I wait for her to text me then?

“A friend of hers’?” Hyunjin raised his eyebrows in question.

I looked at him, sobering my features. “I wanted to see Ellie, but she was already meeting with a friend. I crashed their lunch date. Nothing else.”

Felix gave me a sly smile before nudging Hyunjin. “Rebound.”

I cut a mean glare at him, earning a tight lipped frown from the younger boy. “She’s not a rebound.”

“Then, she is a potential lover,” Hyunjin snickered. “Is she pretty?”

I didn’t answer him, too lost in thought about her appearance. When I walked up to the table, I saw her long, brunette hair falling down her back. The natural highlights shone in the natural sunlight, giving off honey tinted color throughout it. Once I had sat down, I could have lost my breath from how beautiful she looked.

Her face was round and soft, freckles dusting over her cheeks and her cute, button nose. Her eyes were round and doe-like, framed with thick, dark lashes. The honey brown color reminded me of a cozy autumn day. Her lips were full, but not like Hyunjin’s. They had a more petite look to them with a defined cupid’s bow. When she smiled it was magical.

Though she was sitting most of the time, I noticed how her body curved; very feminine. Her hips were wider, the soft pudge around her mid section, making me want to squeeze and cuddle her body. When she did stand up, I noticed how she was only slightly shorter than me. Her body proportions were on par with a goddess, which made it hard for me not to stare.

“Hyung?” Hyunjin waved his hand in front of me. I looked at him, annoyed that he brought me out of my memory of her.

“Yeah, she’s pretty. She has a daughter, too.” I tried to ignore their looks of surprise.

“She’s a mom?” Felix asked. His eyes were wide and his mouth was slightly agape.

“Who is a mom?” Chan asked, announcing his presence.

“Changbin’s new girly friend,” Hyunjin teased, giving a sly smile to our leader.

“Yah! She’s just a friend, don’t make it sound wrong!” I groaned in protest to his teasing. I just got out of a relationship, and she had a kid. No matter what I thought, it just couldn’t happen.

“Oh! Are you talking about Ellie’s friend?” Chan asked, looking at me. I nodded, curiosity as to how he knew about her before me turning into annoyance. “Ellie told me about her. She seems nice. Very pretty, at least from what I could tell in the pictures she showed me.”

Felix and Hyunjin pouted. “Why don’t we get to know about her? I want to see how pretty she is!” Felix whined.

“Text Ellie about her?” Chan shrugged. “I don’t have any pictures of her. She showed me in person from her phone.”

It didn’t take long for them to pull out their phones and begin texting Ellie furiously. I did the same, but only after texting Piper herself. As hard as I tried, I knew hiding my smiles from reading her texts was useless. She was just something else, and I wanted to get to know more about her. Including her daughter. Was that bad?

“WOAH! SHE’S HOT, HYUNG!” Hyunjin shouted with enthusiasm. His wide eyes met mine as a smile split across his face. “How are you able to resist?”

In truth, I wasn’t resisting, but they didn’t need to know that. “A recent breakup due to a cheating partner would do it for you.” I stated soberly. It wasn’t a complete lie, but it didn’t stop me from noticing how attractive she is. It certainly didn’t stop me from flirting.

“Hey!” Seungmin shouted. “Chan-hyung wants to know what we want to plan for dinner.”

I shrugged, not really picky about it at this point. “You guys pick, I’ll just eat whatever.” With that, I left to go to my personal room and take a nap. Thank God Chan pulled some strings to change my room. I wouldn’t be able to sleep in the same bed I caught my cheating ex in with a stranger.

When I entered the room, I jumped onto the bed and took out my phone. I didn’t want to bother Piper with constant texting. Instead, I settled for admiring the picture Ellie sent me of her. She was in the middle of laughing, facing the camera. Her natural, wide smile was adorable, and her long hair flowed around her shoulders beautifully. Her arms hugged her middle as she leaned forward just slightly. The picture captured a side of her that was carefree and gorgeous to me, making me smile at the thought of seeing her again. Which I planned to do before we went back home.
