✨Backstory✨

Seán Duffy grew up in a poor family in Clifden, Ireland. The oldest child with 2 younger siblings 8 years younger than him and a deceased father, Seán had to work tirelessly to help his mother keep a roof over their heads. He took whatever job he could find, from fast food to pest control to construction, effectively honing his skills and turning himself into a Jack of all trades. At 18 Seán joined the Irish army instead of going to college so he could immediately start making a wage, sending any and all money he made to his mother and siblings back in Clifden. He earned the callsign “Magpie” for his incredibly bad luck, always somehow managing to get in the worst situations possible, just barely making it out alive each time. He served faithfully before being offered a place in the 141 Taskforce by Kate Laswell and John Price, which he accepted, never looking back.

When did you start watching JSE? 2017!

Why did you start watching JSE? i had seen some markiplier and jse videos from my friends irl, like try not to laugh stuff, but it really started when i watched cranbersher's olan rogers animation (my brother and i love olan). i started watching his other animations and saw jack and mark on there, which led me down a rabbit hole - and an old friend on quotev had really liked chase brody, which led me to the egos <3

What's your favourite things about the channel? its so iconic and thus has so much nostalgia and community built up around it :") makes me very happy. seán is like a friendly consistent face in the vast sea of youtubers and i love his energy and excitement

What type of community member are you? local artist, author (despite barely posting my shit), and philosopher who delves into insane rambles that are deeply detached from canon. im one of the many people that got so attached to the egos they made their own backstories while waiting on seán's canon, so if u see me posting shit that makes No sense in the context of the iris project or whatever, now you know.
