Interviewer: "Don't they usually have records of stuff like that?" Zayn: "Ah... it's a lil more complicated than that. Can we move on?"

Modding a new hair for the lil ginger baby and takin silly pics along the way.

The current state of the hair WIP:

Some spots need some refitting as they're sitting a lil funny, and in the case of the neck (it's not super noticeable but) there are floating bits. I'm so excited about this cuz this is the kind of hair I wanted for him from the start and just couldn't find one close enough.

It's currently only on his NPV, cuz I'm trying to work out the kinks with the main mesh itself before trying to make it usable on the player version.

** I'm gonna be hella honest for a sec under a cut as to why I ended up powering through this today, CW: transphobia, death.

When I woke up this morning, I was already really feeling kinda bleh and proceeded to check socials only to be blasted with news articles about Nex Benedict's death. If that name doesn't ring any bells I guess I'll give a brief explanation.

Nex Benedict was a trans masc non-binary victim of extreme bullying and transphobia and recently lost their life to an incident in a school bathroom in the usa. This is a direct result of all of these stupid bathroom laws and fuckery being put forth. The hatred and fear mongering brewing out there is killing people. It really really hurt my heart to read about knowing that this is where we're heading if things keep going the direction they're going.

I needed to do something soft. I needed the comfort in my own way. I'm personally pre-transition. I want nothing more than to be comfortable in my own skin but the world is fucking terrifying. I know the hatred is spilling over into the politics where I am as well, it's not just in the usa. It's scary. So I'm living vicariously through my own characters right now, and trying to find comfort in the fact that I can at least give them some form of safety in their own fucked up little world.

Protect trans kids, fuck the bigots. Rest in Power, Nex. They deserve justice.

@pinkyjulien gave me permission to fuck around with the new vest and I went a lil cray. But now Zayn has a custom vest. Originally I was gonna edit the base game vest, and just hadn't gotten around to it. But as soon as I saw this mesh I went feral.

Zayn's bday woulda been early feb, so I say this was a bday gift from Dino who went a lil overboard. 😂🤌💚
